In player career mode, im glad they fixed the match rating system. You no longer have to score 4-5 goals and have 3-4 assists to get a 10 match rating.

I hate that they removed the players walking out and the lineups. It's taken away all the atmosphere and anticipation, especially since they show pre-game highlights from the match that hasn't happened yet? And then the match just starts. It is peak Arcade-game vibes. Hope the modders can fix it.

Unless you are a content creator, just wait until after the January Transfer Window to buy EA FC 24…the game will be a lot cheaper/more cost effective, and most of the bugs~glitches throughout all modes in the game (hopefully) will be addressed. EA FC Devs keep dropping the ball. This game should be lightyears ahead of NBA 2k series. 🤬
Can confirm. I've been playing Fifa with mods since Fifa13, but haven't played since Fifa22, and I forgot how bad the default game can be on first release. I bought FC24, but I wish I'd bought Fifa23 instead and used the mods - now they've removed Fifa23 from steam altogether.
i wish retiring players could be available to be hired as coach for a department or a cutscene like messi or ronaldo retiring then becoming a manager(shown in the news announcement)
In player career mode in just 1 day i reached level 88 . But getting contracts is not easy if don't know different type of shots . Overall good but they can add more things to make it more immersive . Edit : bad thing is that they are still using previous hair styles but just polished and may be they might add on full release.
In playing tactically. I’m not controlling the players. They do seem to react accordingly to instructions. It’s still not at an FM level but it works. There really isn’t a point to setting tactics if you are the one controlling them.
I'm playing the tactical View too. Its good that they implemented it so I don't have to use a mod but there are way to many goals. All of my games end with more than 5, 6 or even 10 goals in total. The keepers and defenders are sh*t. I created a club. It's not the strongest team in the premiere league but I won all of my games. Timo Werner scored 10 goals in 4 matches. I have a 54 rated striker talent with 5 Playstyles. He's a beast. That's too unrealistic. The AI is disappointing. I hope they patch it. FIFA 23 was way more realistic and it was harder to be successful.

Trying to dismiss a coach leaving you with a broken yes/no prompt so you have to close the game is insane, one of the few new features and it doesnt even work properly. also 1 bundesliga coach but 10+ coaches for a 3rd tier league or small country like poland? whats going on there.
I’m so confused on how the training works. Like, I’ll try and set them training, but then I’ll get an email saying, “let the training do the work” or something like that. Like what?! 😵💫
The best thing you can do is set individual training. Either sharpness or fitness. If they have a yellow diamond train sharpness, if they have a yellow lighting train fitness.
I'm actually glad i am getting the game next Friday as it looks like the bugs need spraying and killing first. Hopefully, the experience will be better next Friday

i skipped this years EA game maybe in 2-3 years career mode will see ACTUAL positive changes, some of my CRAZY ideas for player career mode. -Camera follows player getting off the bus, option to sign autographs, more options pop up as you become a star, maybe only 1-2 when you start. -Camera would follow that player on a walk straight to the locker room, Cutscene of putting on kit and Manager team talk. -Choosing sponsorships, instead of giving me the option to put on Adidas shoes, then change it to nike, then change it to puma whenever i feel like it. -Money earned goes towards unlocking Hairstyles, accessories, tattoos, signature celebrations, headphones (on the bus Cutscenes) etc, instead of buying an imaginary jet, and investing my money, so i can earn and invest more indefinitely till i retire with an imaginary 200 million. -Fan opinion/ Fan reputation meter, perhaps if i play badly or give bad/selfish opinion in press conferences my own fans boo me, and increased offers come in but for less salary. -Interview options after games, every now and then, and on special occasions like scoring 3 goals in a UCL or league, with more than just 3 response options, how about 5? how about not labeling them good/bad so I don't actually abuse it, only find out the reaction of the fans/club after it's done. -Ballon D'or, but not Cutscene, i want to be seated in the crowd, and have response options if i loose, like take it on the chin and clap, look upset or indifferent, or happy for the winner, OR if i win, i click X and the character auto walks up, then i get options on the speech i give, then at the next home game i get a CS where i show off my Award to the crowd pre game. I have so many more ideas for immersion, Why can't EA come up with original ideas? IM TIRED OF THE SAME OLD FORMULA FOR YEARS AND YEARS ! >.< !

I think I’ve fixed the sound situation. If you go to the settings and go to sound settings go down to the bottom where you see disabled sound in game turn that off you will then get the commentary and sound before the game
I think alot of things will change come Friday, right now there are at least two stadiums missing (La Bombanera and Luton Town's stadium.) And two teams in Serie B (the newly promoted teams for Serie C) are generic and a few Asian leagues have teams with Generic Kits since the teams haven't officially revealed their new kits yet.
Im.playing with the EA subscription and im disappointed at the lack of cutscenes. Last year there were cutscenes for transfers that i usually skipped, yes, but for some players i did like to watch it. Also the beginning cutscene with the team's anthem, i used to watch that ocassionally too and now it isn't there. Lastly and certainly not that big of a deal, is the music. The menu nusic was actuakly to my liking last year with some decent songs here and there, this year all the songs are trash

The more the customers spending in career the less time they spend in UT where they can spend more money and more money on packs... lets destroy career, lets kill it and give us the optimal chance of more money when everyone leaves career mode for ultimate team. Theres an agenda from EA, there has to be. The game mode cannot get worse like this, it was better is FIFA 14. They have purposely broken it, neglected it and its blatent to me. FIFA 22 & 23 where unplayable. I resulted to simulation and treating it like FM. I had to use my imagination, and conside it director of football mode. I hire a manager, invent a culture and philosophy, do transfers and spectate. I only did this because playing games isnt fun, not with those scorelines. The fact they have rebranded and continued to pump out the same dross. Its sad, the game is dead. I came here to see if things have changed, i have not bought FC24 and will not be buying it. There's a few things missing, River Plate and Luton Town don't have their stadiums, a few official teams have Generic Kits, and the two newcomers to the Serie B are full Generic.
I have a bug when i spectate matches that the opponent team just stands and watches my players take long touches past them and score. I have it on ultimate but it seems like they are on amateur

Playing the game on early access, I must admit I am a little disappointed. Let's be honest it's a re skinned fifa23. Same cut scenes when you negotiate, player arrival/ departures and new windows. Same menu design. I was playing and my wife literally walked past and asked didn't I buy eafc, why am I playing fifa still 😮...weak guys.
I love soccer games so much, but I really am starting to think it is time to move on. I just play a rinse and repeat game every year with some new features and old features taken away. It is sad

You only had the option to select certain profiles such as physically strong, defensive minded, technically gifted etc. Having the ability to search for specific positions is amazing, this will also prevent you from getting 20 left backs when you want a CDM for example. However.. Thinking about the GTN scouting, this has been changed as well. Instead of like 20 filters there's only 6 now and you can also search specifically for players that fit your playstyle.@@RafaelAreli-f7g
Every fast player in opponents team just sprints you out like nothing and you can't do anything against it. I used to have 20 wins in WL and in career I get battered on world class lol
EXACTLY. they just kick the ball forward and start sprinting down the touchline then cut inside the box and my defenders are nowhere to compete with that pace. and most of the time it's not even fast players. i had 38 years old jesus navas outrun Alejandro balde that has +90 sprint lol
I think.it's less that, and more that they went way overboard by allowing an entire week of Early Access instead of the usual standard of three days before so you have a more 'finished' version prior to the Day One patch.
Hopefully it’s just a bug. I can’t get into the game at all without lineups and walkouts. Mate, the game is so buggy even the commentary just stopped. Can’t even get it back after restarting and changing settings…it’s just gone

I got the choice, I purposely started in the 5K stadium since my team started in Ireland, and moved to the EFL, they got a special exemption to play in the 5K seat Dublin Park while there Stadium near by is being built. My created club is Gaelic Club Wanderers, my idea is that the Gaelic Athlectic Association made a professional football team, but decided to play in England's system instead of League of Ireland.
Personally, I respectfully don't agree with a lot of these comments on the game. From the trial, I've quite enjoyed the fluidity of the game and how smooth the game feels. So what if one manager doesn't have a real face. Just enjoy the gameplay
Ui is awful, looks like efootball. Players after being tackled try running back to their position rather than allowing you to try win ball back which is so frustrating. Very minor improvements to career mode, where are the ground building abilities we where told in the early days of promotion? Hate with a passion that women are in ultimate team as mixed teams, sorry no problem with women if you build a full women's team to play in women only competitions but mixed is a joke especially when the top women are higher ranked than many top men. Game play is a slight Improvement but on the whole it's fifa 23 with some things added and removed with a efootball ui look to it.

All this use to be in fifa 07, things are just different now but I see a slight difference from the other games

The biggest bug you will find is when you try to sack one of the training staff. The whole game just hangs (PS5).

I think the problem is the king of England wanted more royalties for their anthem to be used. So it was too expensive.

I have a bug when i spectate matches that the opponent team just stands and watches my players take long touches past them and score. I have it on ultimate but it seems like they are on amateur

If you create a club you can turn all of them to very low priority
@@krispy908 if it’s like last year it doesn’t even do anything. The objectives still matter you can put them all on low priority and you will still get fired for not making the round of 16 with a league two team.
There is no competitor with them so they don’t bother adding anything fun to the game

i skipped this years EA game maybe in 2-3 years career mode will see ACTUAL positive changes, hell, we might even get halftime locker room manager speech options, even as text over a Cutscene, who knows, heh, i'm a dreamer.
On ps4 tjey still have cut scenes and walk outs the amount of comments about not being there is baffling im go on a limb and say most are bots tryin keep people from playin or byein
Playing the game on early access, I must admit I am a little disappointed. Let's be honest it's a re skinned fifa23. Same cut scenes when you negotiate, player arrival/ departures and new windows. Same menu design. I was playing and my wife literally walked past and asked didn't I buy eafc, why am I playing fifa still 😮...weak guys.

He means the Youth Scout. You only had the option to select certain profiles such as physically strong, defensive minded, technically gifted etc. Having the ability to search for specific positions is amazing, this will also prevent you from getting 20 left backs when you want a CDM for example.
However.. Thinking about the GTN scouting, this has been changed as well. Instead of like 20 filters there's only 6 now and you can also search specifically for players that fit your playstyle.@@RafaelAreli-f7g

Every fast player in opponents team just sprints you out like nothing and you can't do anything against it. I used to have 20 wins in WL and in career I get battered on world class lol
EXACTLY. they just kick the ball forward and start sprinting down the touchline then cut inside the box and my defenders are nowhere to compete with that pace. and most of the time it's not even fast players. i had 38 years old jesus navas outrun Alejandro balde that has +90 sprint lol

I think.it's less that, and more that they went way overboard by allowing an entire week of Early Access instead of the usual standard of three days before so you have a more 'finished' version prior to the Day One patch.
I mean this with utmost seriousness. No walkouts, im not buying. Fifa23 is my favourite in years so I don't mind playing it for another year

Hopefully it’s just a bug. I can’t get into the game at all without lineups and walkouts. Mate, the game is so buggy even the commentary just stopped. Can’t even get it back after restarting and changing settings…it’s just gone

I do hope it is a bug that the presentation features are cut. Coz it was just perfect you could skip if in rush or need but let it play with the atmosphere and league specificities music and all and crowds and stadium just like freakin tv. I got the choice, I purposely started in the 5K stadium since my team started in Ireland, and moved to the EFL, they got a special exemption to play in the 5K seat Dublin Park while there Stadium near by is being built. My created club is Gaelic Club Wanderers, my idea is that the Gaelic Athlectic Association made a professional football team, but decided to play in England's system instead of League of Ireland.
Damn, I wish they returned the sponsorship with made up companies from old FIFA.

Personally, I respectfully don't agree with a lot of these comments on the game. From the trial, I've quite enjoyed the fluidity of the game and how smooth the game feels. So what if one manager doesn't have a real face. Just enjoy the gameplay

Players after being tackled try running back to their position rather than allowing you to try win ball back which is so frustrating.
Very minor improvements to career mode, where are the ground building abilities we where told in the early days of promotion?
Hate with a passion that women are in ultimate team as mixed teams, sorry no problem with women if you build a full women's team to play in women only competitions but mixed is a joke especially when the top women are higher ranked than many top men.
Game play is a slight Improvement but on the whole it's fifa 23 with some things added and removed with a efootball ui look to it.
