I was there it rocked!!!! The squeeze on the front rail was insain!!! I loved it! The entire first 25 rows plus the floor were the pit! Maynard was covered in white chalk makeup and the bass guitarist had his hair up in horns! \~~/, Good times!

Oh Yes! I to was at this show and I remember when I first heard Undertow how unique these guys sounded like no other... kick ass rock! they didn't disappoint that night as you can hear in my opinion i loved them most was at this time on the AEnema tour.

My first Tool concert and against the rail up front. (I was in the Navy and stationed at NAS Lemoore at the time.) Korn played at the Wilson the week prior. My friend chose to see Korn instead and told me that I made a mistake. After seeing Tool - I said, "sorry bro YOU made the mistake!" Unless you've seen them back in the day, people won't understand how mysterious and bad ass they truly were. It's been an honor to take many to their first Tool show over the years. Even my two sons who are now die hards.
Was Maynard covered in white powder-esque paint and black around his eyes? I saw a pic of that and it was Mean lol, I think this is the first show he did any of that body paint

My hometown. I was 18 when this concert was played. I saw tool live in Fresno in 2002 and 2013.
I was there. Still miss that venue. Great band to play the last night before it turned into church.

What an amazing find. I saw them three weeks after at back to back shows at Roseland in NYC. They were incredible.
The transition from Merkaba to Sober is particularly pleasing.
