    That leggy stem is what puts me off stem plants

      Cheers, mate! I think these are the last of my stems, to be honest. I think I've binned most of the rest.

      No, there is no smell unless you're up close, and then it just has the same smell as a regular aquarium

      ​@aquaticfanaticsuk also does it matter if you use gravel or sand? Making one with father fish method simlar to walstad

      @@rogerjames7832 I think it's absolutely vital to use gravel. I recently realised a video explaining all the pitfalls of using sand.
