Get the Maisto rockcrawler. It will give you lots of fun even though it is not hobby grade. But is has bigger tires and is 4WD so you should have a lot of fun. It's pretty cheap too.
I bought one of those Jeeps from Dollar General a few years ago and mine doesn't do well off-road either. I also have a Sears Bronco from 1982 and it is about the same size as this Jeep but it does a lot better off-road.
Wow! It looks like fun. With a Jeep and a Sail Boat, Lake Lewis would really take on a personality, wouldn't it? Of course the Jeep might not want to associate with a farm pond after being on a real live ocean. Quite a big difference in the size of the body of water. I am feeling a lot better and much stronger. Sure hope it continues as therapy goes on. Ralph and I took leftovers, from your last visit here, out of the freezer for our dinner this afternoon, it still tasted pretty good. It is crap but new bright's body can be fitted on some scalers. it has good details. only need few adjustment and repainting. many bought new bright only for its body. In the right hands it could be a decent scaler.
Just dont buy a "toy" its cheap quality, get some official ones like traxxas, Axial, RC4WD, vaterra, G-Made, those are good ones. And for this situation, traxxas slash 4x4, or traxxas summit. Most Axial are good for this terrain.
not that new bright is a pain in the ass. but it is after a toy. never buy toys. by real r/cs. spend the money have some real fun. go to a local r/c hobby store. and talk to them. Plenty of good rock crawling sand smashing jumping r/cs out their. shame you thought you had something.
