I have the DS7 Crossback in prestige and traded in my Audi A4. I spent 6 months researching all similar cars in the range including an Audi Q3 & Q5 and Volvo XC40. No comparison, handsome inside and out. And there are not many on the roads that I see which is refreshing. It's different, relaxing, practical and around £10K cheaper than rivals. I am getting 48 MPG and it is a blast to drive. I just get in and go without thinking about it, ultimate comfort and feel safe and in control. Even the body roll and smooth travel over bumps is very nice. Take one for a test drive.
i would take a Q5 over thisone any day of the week. BUT you are right, it is a unique proposition and there arent too many on the road, which CERTAINLY cannot be said of VW-group products in the same size. The XC40 is a bit on the small end for me as well, with a very different style/design language than thisone.
This review is very biased and doesn't reflect the car at all. As someone else has also stated, the slot behind the gear change is not meant for your phone. That goes in the compartment in front of the gear change and also where you plug in the phone to utilise Android or Apple car play. The 'restricted' view of the dash is possibly down to the seating position. It's certainly not something I suffer from. As for the boot size, you call it small. Seriously? It's one of the largest in the class and far bigger than others, including the much mentioned German Audi Q3 and more on par with the Q5. And the rear space again is class leading. Just watch other reviews and see where they all mention this car is quite capable of taking three adult passengers in the back. If you're going to conduct a review you need to be less biased towards cars from another country. This is my third SUV; the others being a Mazda CX-5 and a Renault Kadjar. I loved the Mazda and thought the Kadjar was not quite as good. So far this is proving to be a real winner and yes, I've driven German SUV's as well. I do like the Q3 but this car is bigger and better.
Peter George I was watching to just see more of the car. I've watched so many You tube videos on the DS7 Crossback because I'm thinking about it being my next car & as yet, I still haven't seen anything to put me off. I'm glad that you think it a good SUV :)
@@kimgriffiths8850 Hello Kim. Yes, I've had mine a month now and I'm very happy with it. This is my third SUV having previously had a Renault Kadjar and a Mazda CX-5. The Mazda was very good but this DS-7 is the next step up. Like all cars there are some very minor issues which are slightly annoying but for the money this is a step into the luxury range. It compares very well to an Audi Q5 but at a much better price. I doubt you'll regret getting a DS-7.

I think the car has improved from when this review was done. I test drove one last week and was instantly smitten, comfortable, lots of room and a great drive, and yes your mobile doesnt go into the key holder
Unfortunately, I found this video very distorted. 1. The phone holder is designed for the key. 2. All the buttons that are hidden away should only be required when not actually driving, such as on a frosty morning to defrost the front windscreen, all the other buttons will not be required when driving, so it is best to have them out of the way to avoid catching them whilst driving. There is no mention of such niceties like the heated and massaging front seats, no mention of the reclining rear seats. Whilst he does complain about the boot space, he fails to mention that this is actually bigger than the Audi Q5. The review was so biased towards the German manufactures it became almost a joke. Having had an Audi Q5 and now on my second DS7 there is only one car i enjoy. The DS& Rivoli hybrid, fantastic drive, excellent quality and cheaper than the German cars,
I really wanted to like this car, but having driven it i found it disappointing and the touch screen is way too fiddly peugeot does it much better. Beautiful to look at although with all that quilting i felt i was driving a ladies handbag
yeah i can see where you are coming from. its a decent first try from DS though, but it has to be your kinda style for it to be a serious contender vs the germans

Great to hear! i borrowed this car from DS for a 24h-first launch testdrive kinda event, so very early days indeed.
