Hey Mike you say use a paper chart that reveals bottom.what carts ? Also are these charts found online ? Great shot under water at depth...
Do those bone fish have realities I can fish in the pacific ? LoL
Saute some garlic, butter, shallots, and white wine until garlic and shallots are soft. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper and cook on med heat. Dont move fillets around a lot as they are very flaky, remove from heat after three or four minutes and BAM! Plate over rice and serve hot. Capt Mike
Florida Sport Fishing what is the best bait for golden tilefish?
Tile fish I mean sorry
Why do you prefer a star drag reel over a lever drag reel ??
Another great episode guys!
400-600 feet, look for muddy bottom/terrain.
Great video and show. thx for sharing. does the 400-600 ft depth hold true boynton toward west palm as well? thx.
Tilefish are there year-round, however I have always found larger fish during the winter. I believe that is when the females spawn. Capt Mike
Thanks Jason, over the last few weeks we filmed two awesome episodes on the skiff that really provide SeaDek a ton of exposure. They are coming up in mid/late August. Capt Mike

I don't think this is a tilefish but rather a female pearly razorfish.
I think I made a mistake but what is the latin name of this grey tilefish?
Awesome! How far offshore are you fishing?
Thank you for your tips on the videos:)
this is a great video.. learned a ton.. I was getting bummed that I had to go out and spend a grand on an electric reel. good to know that they still bite on west winds too. I mainly go out with west winds, since it is normally calmer, and I have a 22 ft boat
Hi Gregory and thanks for watching. You can certainly catch them manually. No need for electrics in anything less than 500 ft. thanks to braid. Capt Mike
awesome fishing video
Great video. What is the regulation of that fish.
from florida, there is not one.
Hi Normand and thank you for watching. regulations on grey tilefish are, grey (no pun intended). No limit in state waters, but 3 fish per person in Federal waters. - Capt Mike
What kind of bait?
squid. its the only bait you need when targeting gray tiles. - Capt Mike
