Pile number 1- I had a cat named Tango and he was my BEST friend. He helped me through so many terrible times and I never realized I needed him just as much as he needed me to rescue him. We saved each other. One day before he was even a year old he began to seize and it wouldn't stop. I rushed him to the vet and they stopped his seizures and recommended euthanasia. I wanted to bring him home to fight or pass in peace. He didn't make it and right before he died he let out this horrible scream. Part of me passed with him that day. I miss him everyday. I used to add different things to the ending of his name like Tangy, Tang, Tanga. My nick name as a child was Pebbles. After the hospital he didn't want me to hold him or be near him. Before that he was with me right next to me every moment. I don't know if he was mad or couldn't handle it or if he was in pain. I feel so much guilt because I didn't want him to suffer but didn't want to say goodbye because he was fighting to stay. I miss him so much and want to talk to him one more time so bad. I'm sitting in my car and crying too hard to even get out. I've always loved animals and had a strong bond with all the pets I was blessed to share my home and heart with but Tango was different. He was my soul mate and can't stand to think that he suffered because I wanted to give him a chance to live.
Let me give you a BIG hug. I understand what you're going through as I lost my soulmate catto in front of my eyes not so long ago, and it's been really hard for me as well. I want to tell you that you that I 100% believe that Tango always knew (and will always know) how much you loved him, and that you always wanted and did the best you could for him... They always seem to know, and they understand things in levels that most times we cannot comprehend. What helped me a lot with my catto (his name was Linyun) and his sudden cancer diagnosis + quick passing, was reaching out to someone who does communication with animals, and thanks to that I was able to try and learn something from all this traumatic situation, and how he was feeling on his last days and what his wishes were during that time. I have one last communication scheduled with my catto for this monday, which is also my birthday, to also say one last goodbye - as the person I've been working with believes it's best not to do this more than once with pets who have already passed... I believe this is something that could help you reach out to Tango and directly tell him all these things, also to listen to him. At least for Linyun and I, it helped us to move on and strenghten our bond in an ever deeper way. Dearest Nia, I felt my Daddy and my precious kitty cat. 😺 I had her since she was 4 weeks old. She wasn't expected to live because she had flat ribs. My sweet little girl, her name was Baby, lived to be 22 years old...she passed away 😢 last year on April 3rd. I absolutely know she is with my Daddy now! ❤ my daughter had twins back in September 2023 at 24 weeks. We would see to bunnies while she was in labor. We lost the boy leo. A week after he was born. Then we would only see one bunny after that. 🎉

My dog was named Faerie, she was the love of my life, my child (since I never got human children), she had tons of nicknames, was always happy, one of the nicknames was "hæppisprett" (norwegian) which can be translated into "happycrazyjumper"... Although a big dog, she jumped all the time, like a small rabbit... Funnily enough, the only other animal she actually had respect for, was my white rabbit, called "Angel" that behaved like a devil... Lol... Thank you for sharing that! I have that same bond with my Saint Bernard from childhood and currently with my cat Peppi. Our fur babies / friends are ALWAYS with us. They never leave us. Know that this puts a vey heavy burden on her heart because on the other side we feel our loved ones' emotions as if they were our own. So if you can't work on your healing for yourself, do it for her. I have great compassion for you as I have been in your shoes 3 times, but trust me when I say that our purpose is not to end our lives because we are dependent on someone else for our emotional well being. You need to sit with your pain and truly embrace it until you get to the bottom of it. That's how you can heal it. Most people aren't capable of it. The vet wanted to put her to sleep because she had flat ribs. I said, "NO!!!" I took her home and massaged her ribs every single day. She healed beatifully! She was so in love with me (and me with her), when she went to adoptions, she would not let anyone near her! After 2 days, I couldn't send her again 😪, of course she became MY CAT, MY BABY! Baby lived for 22 years! I just lost her 😔 last year on April 3rd. 😢 . My heart is still 💔 broken. She was the sweetest soul and we just loved each other to no end. I can still feel her sleeping on my pillow every night when I'm sleeping 😪😢😭😭. Don't give up, your precious doggy is with you always. I'm so sure she sleeps soundly right beside you every night too! Dearest Nia, I felt my Daddy and my precious kitty cat. 😺 I had her since she was 4 weeks old. She wasn't expected to live because she had flat ribs. My sweet little girl, her name was Baby, lived to be 22 years old...she passed away 😢 last year on April 3rd. I absolutely know she is with my Daddy now! Funnily enough, the only other animal she actually had respect for, was my white rabbit, called "Angel" that behaved like a devil... Lol... Know that this puts a vey heavy burden on her heart because on the other side we feel our loved ones' emotions as if they were our own. So if you can't work on your healing for yourself, do it for her. I have great compassion for you as I have been in your shoes 3 times, but trust me when I say that our purpose is not to end our lives because we are dependent on someone else for our emotional well being. You need to sit with your pain and truly embrace it until you get to the bottom of it. That's how you can heal it. Most people aren't capable of it. The vet wanted to put her to sleep because she had flat ribs. I said, "NO!!!" I took her home and massaged her ribs every single day. She healed beatifully! She was so in love with me (and me with her), when she went to adoptions, she would not let anyone near her! After 2 days, I couldn't send her again 😪, of course she became MY CAT, MY BABY! Baby lived for 22 years! I just lost her 😔 last year on April 3rd. 😢 . My heart is still 💔 broken. She was the sweetest soul and we just loved each other to no end. I can still feel her sleeping on my pillow every night when I'm sleeping 😪😢😭😭. Don't give up, your precious doggy is with you always. I'm so sure she sleeps soundly right beside you every night too!
