If we preachers concentrated more on preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ than always trying to blow a crowd's mind with some new "revelation", we'd see longer-lasting results in the lives of people.
A True Prophet is gone know that God is not the Author of confusion and he gone know that Satan is the father of sin.

Three words for sin in scripture:
1. Sin - to miss the mark; fall short of the standard.
2. Transgression - to revolt or rebel against the standard.
3. Iniquity - to twist or distort the standard.
Ezek. 28:15 says iniquity was found in him
Bingo! Iniquity = Sin. Satan is the father of lies (a sin) and he is also a murderer from the beginning (first murderer) Another sin! In order to sound deep Todd Hall doesn't rely upon the Scripture for his teaching, he relies on clever cliques and sayings that don't have any basis in the truth of the Scripture!
I'm thing some of these preachers have the title Dr had gone through college to take ministry "divinity classes" in order to become preachers. Some of them twist the word of God around.

I have watched preachers like him for years talk really slow while saying really elementary crap and black folk act like fools to impress them. It's so amazing how we as a people are always quick to divide, come against, rear down. But I get not a one will stand in this man's presence, if giving the chance, and say anything different. 2nd Timothy 2:15. Period.
If God's people learn the Word of God instead of trusting what falls out of the mouths of wolves, they would be able discern who comes from God and who doesn't. I have no issue telling him, or anyone else (as I have) if what he preaches/teaches/lives/professes is false. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO REFUTE AND REBUKE FALSE TEACHERS. Saying that one 7:43 "through one mans sin, sin entered the world" [Rom 5:12] -TRUE THAT'S WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS, but this does not mean Satan didn't sin. Yes he did not bring sin into the world, thats what the text can support, it supports that lesson and thought. I listen to this guy entire message and I was trying to be objective, but it was really hard because he is so wrong...if I was defending him I guess I would say the his message was (stop blaming the devil for what u are doing wrong) but even that is far fetch because it is by a demonic spirit they causes us to stray from God...I don't want to totally trash his sermon but I do want it to be clear what the devil influence have been through out all of humanity... I am going to do what some may not do that has criticized this message and that is STUDY it for myself. Like Lisa Anderson said, Study to show thyself approved a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth". You hit the nail right on the head "center mass"!! I think some people are getting what the preacher is trying to illustrate confused and are hanging on a few words and not on what actually happened in the Garden of Eden. Satan possesses the power to tempt but does not possess the power to make us sin. We sin willingly thus the free will God gave us. The ony way out is through Jesus. This is why God chastised Adam because he was put in charge although Eve and Satan were punished.
I love Dr. Hall's realness and transparency. We need more transparency and realness and less. Not sure if I follow him though.
The Bible tells us that Adam was the first human to sin. Death was brought on by sin, Satan won't die, but Adam did. Satan caused Adam to sin, and that's why Jesus had to come in the picture. Jesus doesn't have to redeem the fallen angels, He doesn't have to redeem Satan, He has to redeem us. That's why He was slain from the foundation, because with the presence of Satan comes the opportunity for sin, not the presence ! The angels that exalted Lucifer sinned before him. Adam placed sin on us.

Some of you all need to go back and listen to this message. He did not say that satan did not sin he is simply saying that satan is going to hell permanently for refusing to praise God which is what he was created to do. He is also saying that satan did not bring sin into the world; Adam did. The bible never teaches that "his" form of praise and what "his" definition of praise is a condition to eternal damnation.
It so sad to see people make comments about a man of God. Especially when using scriptures in the bible to back their comments up. For those of you who are talking ill will about this man of God is committing a sin. Even if you don't believe or agree with what this man of God is saying, it is a sin to talk ill will about any man or woman who has been called by God. You don't really for sure if he received his calling from God or not. You weren't there when it happen between him and God. Just like the calling each of you have on your lives. Nobody was there when each of you received your personal callings from our Heavenly Father. When you don't agree with what someone preach, Jesus teaches us to pray for understanding. When we pray we will then get the answer to our prayers. If you really do a deep study on the beginning of satan and sin you actually just might be surprise to find out who the author of sin is. God gave us free will to choose. If satan makes us sin then why would we be responsible for the sins we commit? This preacher is saying that the devil is going to hell for something much greater than sin which is something we can be forgiven of when we confess to God. All of our sins have been forgiven once Jesus died and took on all of our sins but never sinned himself. The sins he is referring to are the sins on earth that were birthed by Adam hence their punishment by God in Eden.
This is off. The fact that through "one man sin entered the world" does not mean that that "one man" invented sin. If it"entered the world" then that phrase in and of itself presupposes that "sin" existed before it "entered the (human) world".

Hebrews 1:1-3 is how God speaks to us today! John 1:1-18. 2 Timothy 2:15-16 rightly divide the word of truth. All these people acting as if they can speak in tongues in modern days are making a mockery of the Holy Spirit. Christ had the Holy Spirit without measure, that's why he could walk on water and speak to a storm and calm it. Not once do you read were you hear the apostles or Christ put on a show as people do today to say the spirit touched them!
Worship and praise is not isolated nor delegated to noise, shouting and lifting the hands. These have their place.
Jesus said, "In vain do you worship me by teaching the doctrine of men."
Therefore, worship is also found in the teaching of God's word.

Sin originated in the heart of Satan with his rebellion. Sin entered the perfect world God created through the heart of man (Adam) with his rebellion against God's rules. I think what he's preaching can be very confusing.

Im not sure how many of you have had the privilege of being in service or even in the presence of this Anointed Servant of God, but he is no false prophet or teacher. He is the "real deal." First of all, he is not speaking literally, he is using a metaphor to help us see ourselves as choosing the same path the first Adam chose, when we have the option of Choosing Christ (second Adam). Getting hung up on the exegetic interpretations of the scriptures he mentioned is missing the point all together. the point he makes is clear and true; We are responsible for the sin in our own lives. Scriptures says let your yea be yea and nay be nay... even in the exegetical process. The assumptions that he is making is totally non biblical. John calls him the originator and father of sin. God commanded Ezekiel to write a lament showing the king of Tyer showing how he in some ways personified the same things Satan did. Sin came through Adam but it was found in Lucifer. Lucifer sinned by trying to take God's place and over through the creator because of Him creating us (What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?)

We can be forgiven of sin when we repent. Satan and the angels that that left their first estate will not be forgiven, they rebelled against God, and sinned before man was created; so how could man be the author of sin? God told Satan he was a murderer from the beginning. Refusal to praise God is sin! Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord is a command not a suggestion.

A Politician, a Scientist, a Businessman, and a Clergyman were all friends with each other.
One day, they all saw many rusty and run-down neighborhoods filled with all kinds of homelessness and poverty: the angry people, the sick people, the ignorant people, and the hungry people; most of which will lose what little they do have should they even miss a single paycheck or two.
The four were amazed at this, and so they all wondered why and how these people could do this to themselves and live this way; in such a depressed lifestyle without any kind of future security.
The politician said, “They must not be ambitious”
The scientist said, “They must not be educated.”

And the Clergyman said, “They must not know God.”

Not Biblical at all
If he's been sinning from the beginning then obviously he started it. Adam wasn't sinning from the beginning. Satan was the first to have iniquity in his heart. "I will be like the most high." He did it first then years later he enticed eve to do it, with a sinful plan behind it. So anyone that does it first!, and can show it to someone, they are the Author of it. So John 3:8 explains it all
This man is sincere but knows nothing of scripture.
Everything Todd is describing are the attributes of sin. Sin itself is iniquity, which is lust.
Lucifer was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. He lusted for more power, more authority and lusted to sit in the place of the almighty and be worshipped.
Lucifer the mighty lusted to be the almighty. He is the author of sin.
James wrote that God does not tempt man to do evil. Why? He is not evil. So who tempts man to do evil? The author of evil, Satan.
When lust is conceived it brings forth sin, and when sin is finished it brings forth death.

Anything that is ungodly finds its origin within Satan. In the garden, he sought to promote and did promote his principles of his kingdom to Eve. His principles is first to challenge our knowledge of what God's says, and then present a contradictory view, and then hope that we cannot cast that thought down. Satan was cast from Heaven due to his sins and his sinful influence on 1/3 of the angelic host.
Issue is, the church has taught against "sin" for ever without defining what sin actually is. According to scripture, sin is transgression of the law. There is also iniquity which is perverting or twisting truth to convince yourself or others that sin is not sin. The church teaches that we are no longer under the law as "new testament christians". This is the issue. Now everybody is free to sin with out conviction. This is the true problem. He is right that satan has less power than the church likes to give him, but he is the orchestrator of the systems that lead people right i to sin, including the lie that we are no longer under the Torah.

I'll ask you one question , if you can't take the good from something then why are you watching the video , if you search for negativity is fault , you will obviously find it . he doesn't literally mean sin doesn't come from Satan Rees in between the lines , he's saying Satan does not coming and spoon feed you sin , you yourself choose to go and sin , Satan is only as powerful as you make him by your actions . Todd Hall said Satan DID NOT create SIN! 1 John 3:8 said, "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." Don't allow your infatuation with Todd Hall to override the truth of the Bible.
