I love watching you build stuff. It’s always interesting. Ride safe and enjoy always enjoy watching.❤❤❤❤❤❤
That stock tank looks so good! I like what you’ve done to the bike so far, keeping it clean and simple.
As a long time Dr650 owner, the bigger tank has one huge advantage over the stock. It holds the fuel a lot lower than the stock one. If you want to drop weight, keep the bigger tank and put less in it. The fuel will be lower on the bike and makes a noticeable difference. I no longer own a DR650. I now have a DR790. A whole new world.
Oh and the fork brace makes a huge difference at speed on rough terrain.
Good to hear the trip was a succes in the end lol. Those improvements on the DR are solid. I do like the Acerbis tank too, but the stock one looks good too! Awesome the previous owner kept it.
New stock tank and modified rear fender area makes her look like a new girl.. Nice work.
That tank looks sharp..................Cheers!
Nice work Jordan, your Harley is looking good too
The bike looks GREAT!!!!!! Nice job...
Bike looks so good with the stock tank. The fairing looks awesome too. Personally, I would just carry an MSR fuel bottle as a reserve, unless I’m doing the TAT or something.
Great stuff Jordan, wish I had half as much confidence in doing things to my bike. its costing me a fortune every time I want to change something. Harley sure know how to charge 😂
Like the new tail light
Good stuff Jordan. I'm defintely stealing some of your ideas for my DRZ400 build.
I had an 07 DR 650 loved it. Got a new 23 Honda rally now 😊
It would be nice to have both eh?
I had an 05 DRZ400 and now I have 2021 Rally. Both bikes are awesome, once you get the necessary mods for the Rally.
Don’t be afraid to upgrade the rear 40T sprocket to a 42T on your Rally. After doing the ECU/air box/exhaust mods, the 300l doesn’t lose any top end speed with the 42T upgrade. My bike topped out at 81mph stock, and it still tops out at 81mph. The sprocket was one of the best upgrades I made. I can pull the front wheel up now without grabbing a handful of clutch. Check out woodsman adventure. He upgraded to a 42T without doing any of the performance mods, and he only lost like 1mph on top end. It’s worth so much for bottom end performance.
Looks really nice
Man, good stuff right there, as simple as it is, the tail light is bright! Great photos at the end😆
thanks man! looks great!
Looks a 100% better
I like the factory tank a lot better. Nice up grade with the light. 👍🏻👍🏻
Wished I’d known you were changing the rear turn signals. I took mine off and went back stock. I’d given them to you. All there doing now is collecting dust.
“There’s not a whole lot of other things I’m gonna do to this bike” 😂

Keep the big tank i had a honda xr650l the stock was 2.8 gal went to a clark 4.8 never looked back but i do ride long adventures the fork brace works to keep the front fork tubes plum jus me sayon
I just filled my KLR after 206 miles. Took 4.8 gallons.
Great job on the upgrades, it gives the bike a much nicer look. How does it handle now with the weight changes, do feel a difference?
Sweet bike. I ride a Drz 400 SM
Video looks good keep up the mods till your happy with it
@@grovedude I can’t help myself to just toy with things.
I did a lot of work to my DR
With that lens on the camera you can probably turn off autofocus. It seems to have a good enough depth of field without it having to change focus.
I did notice that, definitely a learning curve! 😅
@@JordanRay It was "hunting" a little. But if you turn AF off and focus it manually it should be just fine. When you were working on the bike up front the bench behind you was still in focus.
just curious if the charging system is capable long term for driving lights thats a cool idea
@@kevincraig8257 yes, the DR can support around 60-80 watts of accessories, fog lights are 10 a piece, garmin, then usb charger. Probably wouldn’t run anything extra though.
Excellent all mods. Also important that they are made by yourself, that gives an important value to your work. I am just now with the first mods on my DR 650. I invite you to see my channel, for now subscribed to yours, greetings from Chile!
😂 jess spends way more money on her bikes than you do.
Yeah buddy. 🤌
