Can you explain the Foot Error bits?
Their time stamped but i can't hear any "errors".
Thanks for uploading this masterpiece!
Cheers
Ringo really showed his musicianship here. He was clearly listening to all the musical parts and responding, not just laying down a beat. But also kept the beat. Just a really unique way of looking at drums.
Dear LORD Ringo is freaking amazing…
Paul McCartney's bass playing is fantastic what an absolute genius. Who on earth would have a bass part like this for this song.
Yes, and his loose arrangement on the piano also makes the song. Just playing by feel.
The best part of his playing, on top of the whole melodic playing -- I say as a lifelong bar cover band bass player -- is how he also makes everything groove, even the root note playing. It's not just playing the notes, but accenting them, sliding up, hammering up, making it really groove.
Absolutely Agree!! So rich and satisfying 👍
Berry Oakley for one.
💯!
John's vocals are so chilling. What a magical recording.
Outstanding!!
there is something almost supernatural going on here , everyone of the Fabs just so brilliant in their contributions to this song...one of the great high points of 20th Century music
Incredible song wow! Those Beatles really are the best band ever.!
LENNON'S VOICE WILL SEND SHIVERS DOWN YOUR SPINE A DAY IN THE LIFE AND LUCY CARE TO NAME A FEW 👍
The master tape really accentuates the power of the Orchestra in the final mixes Spellbinding!!
John Lennon’s voice specifically in this song is the greatest voice of all time. I think he has the greatest voice anyway but this song really shows why
A bit of hyperbole, from you if you ask me. No one that knows anything about music would say that Lennon had the "greatest voice of all time." Even Lennon admitted that his voice wasn't very good. That's why he doubletracked and put echo on his voice.
@@Pharoset : oh, Pharoset, you and everyone keep falling for this; yes, lots of singers don’t like their own voices, I know the feeling; John had one of the greatest rock voices. Too bad he couldn’t reconcile with what all his fans heard. A perfectionist at heart. Amazing voice.
@@adamroxx7 Absolutely right, John never thought he had a bad voice, he just hated the sound of his own voice. A brilliant rock voice for sure.
George Martin said years later he got 'chills down his spine' at the opening of this song....me too.
Sir Paul's "Ahhhhh"s are honestly the best part of the whole song but yeah these are some of John's greatest vocals
This is the coolest take I have ever listened too the the different tracks that make up "A Day In A Life"! one of my favorite Beatle's Songs! Totally genius! The Clocks screaming, precision of the musical instruments and chords!!!! John's voice adds the excellent final touch with the echoing!!!!!!
Absolutely masterpiece in history of music. And my favourite song for eternity! I love it so much!
i remember when i first fell in luv with the beatles, i was 9/10.
i remember getting the 2009 stereo box set n being the happiest kid ever. i spent hours everyday listening to those cd’s n digesting every minute detail, every big n small part, mistakes n hidden sounds n everything. i’m so thankful for these videos ♡
La voz d lennon es genial... d otro mundo...fantástica...nitida... sublime. Una d las piezas maestras jamás enjendrada d todos los tiempos
Loved every freaking second of this!
A masterpiece!
I discovered a lot of new sounds here, which is otherwise drenched in the mix. Fascinating!
I cannot express how much I love this.
Thank You Very Much!!!
that bass sounds amazing
Music 🎶 is just a beautiful invention ❤
If you don't write a book Documenting all this history and Beatles recording intricacies or curate a set, that'd be a bummer. AMAZING WORK, as usual.
Geoff Emerick wrote a book on his time engineering the Beatles music. Just finished it. Very interesting read.
@@sherry-cx5vf Am in the process of reading it after having read George Martin's "All You Need is Ears" and I definitely agree. They're definitely both worth a read and I eagerly anticipate reading George Martin's book that focuses on Sgt. Pepper specifically.
Anatomy of a rock legend!
If you imagine the Beatles as a fully formed, adult human life form.......Then this is a paisley patterned stroll through its spinal column.
I love this song all the way through it’s fantastic what an amazing song this is.
Amazing to hear this truly Stunning wish all their master tapes could be made available to us devoted fans
If you really slam a grand piano with a Maj E chord- it resounds forever. The fade out here is actually fast.
Wow, this is one of the coolest things I've found on youtube
Al escuchar las pistas separadas se nota la genialidad compositiva y los grandiosos arreglos musicales, simplemente una obra maestra creada por 5 genios(John, Paul, George, Ringo y George Martin)
John's voice was always raw, unhinged, loud and powerful. His voice always makes McCartney's muffled.
This is fantastic!! This is the first I’ve heard of Macca doing drum overdubs ?? Being a drummer myself and studying the Beatles for 50 years or so, I know Ringo’s drum playing and that’s his fills
My guess is the middle McCartney song (woke up, fell out of bed) is McCartney on drums, rinko always hits the snare really strong and crisp, whereas the snare hits sound really half hearted
@@debomb721 no it’s Ringo, Paul’s feel was different. Think that’s another Beatle rumour
Esto es musica en su perfecto estado
Amazing ❤
finally hearing Mal count
The orchestra is fantastic
Gracias, thank you.
Fascinating, thanks for posting! 😀 Can you imagine any artist spending this much time on the details today? Nope. We’ve gotten lazy and that’s a big reason why music pales today in comparison to what it used to be.
Possibly THE BEST Beatles track ever recorded, and George is just contributing maracas. He couldn't even be bothered to show up on time for the final piano chord overdub.
John is not on 'Here comes the Sun' . He couldn't be bothered showing up to that . ( I think he had a car accident around then ... )
If I was only contributing with maracas I wouldn’t show up for the final piano chord either 😂
As always George was a pouty little bitch. I would have worked day and night to come up with something that would add to this song. I would hate myself for the rest of my life for having the chance to play on this monument to art, and not doing so.
JOHN'S VOICE WILL SEND CHIVERS DOWN YOUR SPINE. ONE OF THE GREATEST VOICE IN MUSIC HISTORY.
I wonder if that little bass mistake in the beginning, just slightly off rhythm for a moment, haunts Paul to this day. Like it’s right there, glaring in the beginning
Not a mistake, he plays two strings at once with a pick/plectrum. Then you get that they sound a bit apart.
@@zetmoon Yes it's a mistake between 36 and 37 seconds. A rhythmic mistake. I'm not talking about the biads, those are fine
@@MtlRedAtheist very slight and not a mistake when you listen to the complete mix.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Excelente video gracias por compartir saludos! Otra rola que tengo en mi repertorio.
Macca did not play drums on this song. Ringo cane up with parts and played them. George Martin is quoted saying the Drums were all Ringo and his ideas.
Beatles no 1 2023
I love this
Paul didn’t overdub drums on A Day in the Life. The drums were all Ringo.
Una obra maestra dentro de una obra maestra, The Beatles
18:22 that's NOT someone's shoe that's a squeaky CHAIR!
Its John Lennon on his piano bench
@@craigusselman546 Any type of squeaky furniture leg makes a lot more sense than a shoe.
Nothing about this song is natural...it screams SUPERNATURAL...it is a sonic miracle on audio tape. I have no idea how they did it. .
Great job! Would love to hear Penny Lane like this. Thank you.
La partes de lennon de aaaaaah. Parecen coros de elfos algo mas celestial unos genios
It's Paul's part and he does the "aaah".
Wow.....
That drums and bass...what a joy!
EDIT: What does 'Master Tapes' mean especially for the deconstruction process? Are this separated tapes and where do you get them? Thanks!
Master Tapes would mean they would have access to the 4-track-tape they made from the reduction mixes, but you can clearly hear that the instruments were filtered out by AI.
The person behind this account, as much as I thank them for their uploads (I mean some "deconstructions" are more in-depth than the RB stems we have), posts lots of wrong info.
Would never become a Patreon, since most of the stuff they take credit for is either ripped or AI did the work.
@@LPsMartIn "AI did the work" That's the whole point of this video: Each tracks are filtered by AI, because most of the instruments are merged together. And no, some of these were the actual individual tracks from the 4-track, it's available in several bootlegs. While some of the others are from RB.
@@arfansthename read again
@@arfansthename the title says master tapes. This is not from the master tapes. It might contain parts of it, but they're not the proper tracks as the title suggests

20:15 George Harrison didn’t play the chord here. Only Martin.
14:49 [You need?] to turn up the volume [???]
XD
At some point near the end Paul takes over the drums....
No, he doesn't.
Can never understand why people have to say paul played drums on this and that, when he didn't. As if ringo was not the excellent player he is.
13:31 wowww
Paul played drum in this song??!!!!
11:34 HUH HUH HA HUH
Where did you get this?
"Master Tapes". Bulls*it claim. Very poor quality rip-offs from dodgy bootlegs, maybe, but not the original 2 x 4-track masters (they used two 4-tracks synced together by a 50khz tone on this one...). These are VERY securely locked away in the EMI vaults.
Another hater in the wall, back off and if you want it upload your own video with your tracks
11:48 is that Paul or John
John... confirmed by giles martin
He sounds so fucken good
Sucks he had to die young.

What do you mean?
At what points in the song do you think Paul overdubbed some drum parts.
no idea but you can see him on drums during the recordings too
He didn't play any drums on this, but appearently he helped Ringo with the fills.
@@gutgolf74 Paul was playing the extra kick drum on good morning good morning

Paul overdubbing Ringo would be a step backward....honestly, the Paul worship on some of these videos...

Harmonium
@@gutgolf74 I honestly thought it was the effect of a chord being slammed simultaneously on how many(?) pianos, saturating the tape!
Which track is Bernard Purdie?
Purdie played some hihat over a VERY old live recording with PETE BEST still on drums - and then got himself sneaked into Beatles' history...
Shame he would do that, decent drummer that he is.
@@gutgolf74 TRUE DAT
who's playing the clavichord? George Martin certainly...
George Martín or john
@@DLD2Music yes, probably
The Beatles never gave credit to the studio musicians. They were stingy.
You obviously never had a look at "Revolver".
Could have mentioned the harp player and violin guys
@@HessuloThey weren't going to mention all the names. The session musicians were also paid very well so they weren't stingy. It would have probably caused havoc with royalties if they had mentioned other musicians in the credits.
