Hello Rafael, congratulations on your very nice video! I'm the person who recorded the album that you are talking about. Joseph Mkwawa at the time was a young student in Dar-es-Salaam. He also composed his own guitar songs. Maisha Yangu is in the Kiswahili language and it means 'my life.' The song is about heavy love trouble! The words mean 'My life has been ruined and it's all because of you! Because of you, I had a lot of trouble. Because of you, I was beaten up. Because of you I went to jail. Ah, mama, I'm crying....' The words are not as cheerful as the guitar part! By the way, you are playing it very nicely. The only difference is that Joseph, like a lot of African guitarists, only used his thumb and index finger in the right hand.
