A Tourist's Guide to Krasnaya Polyana, Russia

- Krasnaya Polyana is a retreat located in the Caucasus Mountains, close to the border with the Georgian breakaway state of Abkhazia.
Though hugely popular for skiing, we visited in May, which meant the weather was gorgeous. We wandered around the town, got a ski-lift pass to head into the mountains and generally had a lovely time!

how far is this from moscow ?
2.5 hours flight to Sochi. Then 20 mins by taxi to Krasnaya Polyana. Sochi is a Black Sea city resort.
