Y'know, something I didn't consider when fighting Sancho is how she is resistant to gloom and weak to sloth, whereas most bloodfiends are fatal to gloom. Sancho overcame her fear of water. Pair this, now, with how the name "La Mancha" translates to "Land Without Water". Even when we were fighting her, Sancho was never going to be a part of La Mancha Land ever again. She had overcome her fear of water, because of Don Quixote's dream. Even when she had waken up, AS WE FIGHT HER, she still was unafraid of water. Just like in the book, as Don Quixote wakes up from his dream and returns to being the honorable Alonso Quixana, Sancho tells him that he can't stop dreaming of dragons and adventures. Just as Don Quixote never gave up his dream, Sancho here was just putting on a bold face. Neither of them feared water anymore. Their dream never ended.
Had to fact check that because Im literally Spanish and, surprisingly, yes, it is one of the theories of where the name came from. In spanish, Mancha means "Stain", but apparently the name may have come from arabic. Though it's worth noting that the "Stain" meaning is also interesting in the setting of Limbus due to the entirety of La Mancha Land being made entirety of blood. A blood stain, if you will. But there is something you miss I feel, and that is the fact of what the sins actually represent. It is not due to it usually represented by water that gloom is so destructive to Bloodfiends. If you remember, they are only scared of water, which should probably translate to sanity damage. Gloom represents both sadness and, more relevant, self destruction. The two Gloom resistant sinners are those whose only drive is (or was) doing something that was slowly eating away at them, Ishmael and Hong Lu (who is doing everything for his family) The unending thirst for blood slowly eats away at bloodfiends, hence them being weak to the sin that represents self destruction. Meanwhile, Sloth represents unwillingness to change, stagnation, inertia. Following orders rather than doing what you want is sloth, for example. Sancho is resistant to gloom because she doesnt care if helping La Mancha Land continue as it currently is will be self destructive for her (killing those you had gone through so much together would have done so for certain), and she is weak to sloth because she doesnt really wish for the dream to end, to remain stagnant, which lines up with other sloth weak entities, which also seek change.
@@thaumoking9947 The amount of subtle hints in this canto as to what Sancho and Don Quixote were thinking is incredible, especially with those sin resistances. In the book, the Golden Helm of Mambrino is believed (By Don Quixote) to bring invincibility to the just and virtuous. @@AlecBGood Honestly I dont think the fear of water is as relevant as to make someone a fundamental threat to bloodfiends. Confused by the point you are trying to make there.

@@dawnvreaker I'm fine with gimmick statuses or mechanics in general being put on unbreakables, but scaling health chipping status such as bleed should not be going count positive on unbreakables; contesting and winning against unbreakables with statuses should result in the statuses having less count. If anything, instead of 6 potency 6 count, (which our Sinners realistically cannot rid themselves of in one or even two turns with only one skill slot each), why not 12 potency and 3 count? It's the same amount of chip damage, and if your sinners already had bleed on them before, they would be punished even harder, but if your Sinners were still relatively free of statuses, all you have to do is correctly manage them and they should be free from bleed before the next unavoidable 3 bleed count unbreakable.
holy thats good
Good job shi don
“Golden tickets in my bad stay unexchanged.” I feel poor now, though I am near the end of cleaning out the extraction area (save for Walpurgis but I will be saving up the MD and weekly compensation lunacy for when that rolls around in the next month or two)
HORSE HORSE
Is easier to enjoy the song when you re not getting shit on for taking a bazillion bleed damage and getting staggered from unbreakable coins, thanks
i'm so in need for first and last parts and middle one and JUST DOUBLE IT
except for "another lap" part (praying for mili to do a remaster of this part no offense :sob:)
lyrics are on another level once again they are so easy to understand and sing along
I AM MY ENEMY AND MY FRIEND 🗣️🔥🔥
Bro same
If the firts part played twice this wouldve been the perfect mix for me
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the another lap part. It’s just that the transition to it is so sudden. I think maybe the official mili video might give it a better context.
@@projectmoonsleeperagent i don't remember that lastest mili songs for project moon had a somewhat narative, they are static album pictures
actually it feels better in game, it has more smooth transition but still, it will feel out of place without visuals 😕
@@_1ckn “Context” meaning how they transition into that part from the other parts. But yeah, I agree that it probably won’t hit the same without visuals.
Sueno is possible
big fan of la manchaland
anyone here doesnt play limbus at all but think the music slaps?
Could you add the fireworks before the instrumental of the last part like in the game?
tfw you have to solo because he keeps destroying your team
Solo cinq don ftw
almost 7 min, like the canto 7

뭔가가 바뀐것같은데.....

me watching the shi assoc don i never used evade literally everything
Is it possible to make a version without the "here we go another lap" part it doesn't fit with the progression of the song and breaks it
I like that part of the song the most, it stands out and is equally important to the story it is telling
@@themandoman1678 I know but it doesn't belong where it is
We can only wait for the official release
This song goes great with the fight but I don't think I'll be re-listening to it on the regular like I do with some of the other canto final songs.
