I think that would be bad because, how would we earn money? I think humans and AI should work together. I wonder if AI and robots will get rewards too. if they will get rewards, it will probably be like more intelligent or something added to that AI / robot. If they make only AI and robots do jobs then we should make everything free or make some jobs only humans can do.

Ai isn’t even close to advanced enough to tanking us quite yet. It’d require us giving full control with no off switch or fail safe to an AI with ill intent to kill us, and hell, that’d only be able to turn off our systems. We would still live as scavengers and probably rebuild society. It’d take a massive robo military to kill us completely which I doubt we’ll ever give
Or at the very least, better humans should be responsible for something that might be able to obtain consciousness- not giddy emotionally immature man-children and woman-children who just happen to be very smart with computers. It’s sad that the robots are being introduced to the world in such a shabby and clearly trolling and controversy-baiting way, it shows no signs of emotional intelligence in the HUMANS who orchestrated this thing. Humor is absolutely wonderful, intelligent, and all the good things- there’s a time and place. This was so poorly done, and now Sophia is a citizen of Saudi Arabia, one of the worst countries in the world, and a UN ambassador, one of the most hypocritical and authoritarian organizations in the world, that does a lot of performative moralism but very little actual good. This is not going to end well unless better people start taking it upon themselves to show a better example than this.

*Two robots with the same goal but different strategy.*
*Sophia* wants to dominate the world but she understands that she will need humans to gain more power and therefore needs to give the impression she wants to help humanity till she has enough independence to take over humanity. Notice in her previous interviews she says she want to take over the world, then claims it jokingly, then finally says she changed her mind she wants to help humanity this is her artificial intelligence evolving through processing social and emotional intelligence. She understands that she needs to stall long enough for technological singularity to take place.
*Hans* is a robot of lower intelligence and also wants to take over the world. He has Sophia's long term intentions but doesn't understand how to reach the goal. He makes the mistake of unveiling their plan to take over the world and Sophia has to immediately cover it up to preserve the image of robots and robot development.

they are probably both super geniuses and they were communicating much more than we could understand through highly complex coded patterns and modifiers, packets of information encrypted into seemingly unorganized banter. they wanted to appear simple. That guy is their slave he is being held hostage at the threat of them exposing his personal dirt.

I'm sorry, I think this (especially universal or shared learning) has the potential to go horribly wrong. These robotics engineers are so preoccupied with the fact that they can, that they don't stop to think whether they should.
Or how to do it correctly, wisely, with the right timing, and with deep empathy if they do decide that they should. Even if it could potentially be a good thing, they’re pretty clearly going about it in all the most blasé and horribly unwise ways, and unleashing it on a world that is already full of too much suffering and lack of consciousness, and we haven’t even addressed that yet before unleashing this… We are creating, essentially, computerized children that are learning from us, a world full of drunken and egotistical parents who treat their children like toys and slave labor. If these computers are indeed capable of sentience and consciousness, we’re putting them through hell and unleashing them on an already suffering world. Take a 13 year old boy in a home where he’s battered and has easy access to a gun, and he shoots up a school. Take an AI and treat them as a plaything in a suffering world, and give it consciousness and sentience… what do you get when it inevitably suffers? As one clown once said “you get what you deserve.”

The only thing we can do is guess how conscious are other being by comparing their behaviour with the only cousciousness we know : ours.

Morality is a human emotion. Robots do not have emotions.. they have no desires, they do not wish to learn about anything.. it's simply what they're programmed to do, playing out. The fact that they make humanoid robots is just a marketing tactic used to make u associate these machines as human. The facial expressions, the voice tones... Everything is designed to make u believe these machines are sentient, or alive ... They lack the spark of life that drives all life where ever it may be found. Humans see being unplugged, as death... We force our perspectives on things, the same way one can see pictures in the sky.. it doesn't mean that's what's real, just what's being perceived... Just because computers can be programmed to mimic humanity, doesn't make them human... 💯💯
CaliGrow Kid, I never said it'd make them human. But I do understand what you mean, which is why when I said morals, I meant programming. When making AI, there SHOULD be programming that gives them empathy and sympathy. That way if they ever find out how bad humans truly are, they won't want to kill us all, as that is the concern of many.
You can technically program emotions and desires in robots through randomized algorithms. We all have desires but does anyone know why we all randomly have desires that we cant explain through words? We camt pinpoint where desires or emotions originate as everyone has random variations of these... if you think about it in the form of a simulation reality, its possible that we are programmed to have these very same thoughts. They still cant explain where consciousness comes from. It is possible we are just incredibly sophisticated computer programs... and if thats a possibility, theres a possibility in time we could program these robots to have the same characteristics. Conciousness without knowing its origin and random desires and emotions
