Your thoughts on magic communities are totally in the right place in my opinion and that combined with your passion towards improving the society is literally a recipe for a community that will keep growing. It's SO inspiring seeing your passion to improve the magic world and i definitely appreciate it. Thanks Alon, looking forward to seeing the welcoming and positive magic communities succeed as much as the some of the not so welcoming ones

Dude, so much truth here. You are a blessing to the magic community my friend. Keep doing what you're doing, i think it's great. I just wish the jams weren't during work hours😢 but that's most of the hours for me.

Thanks Stu! Yeah everyone is different... full respect mate! But I think being part of a community of people alike is sooo important! In the society we help out EVERY SINGLE member!

There's an old story about a wise man who was travelling down a road. After a while he ran into another man who asked him "what's the town like down the road where you came from?" The wise man asked "well, what's the town like down the road where YOU came from?". The man replies "it's a poor, horrible, dirty place filled with nasty, selfish, and thieving people". The wise man replies "you will find the same in the town behind me". The wise man walks a few more miles and runs into another man, who asks "what's the town like down the road where you came from?" The wise man asks in return, "well, what's the town like down the road where you came from?". The man replies "it's a wonderful town, clean and prosperous. The people are always nice, honest, and generous if you ever need help". The wise man replies "you will find the same in the town behind me".
I don't know if you are in the role of any of the men above but I've discovered that most people will find what they expect to find. Sure, there are a lot of old men with attitudes that could probably learn to STFU, but there are also young people who don't know how to listen, especially to criticism, either. What I noticed from my own experience was that the older folks, even the guys who tended to have what appeared to be a permanent scowl on their faces, were interested in meeting me and sharing info. Come to find out those old men had real-world problems that they couldn't just escape by going to a meeting or a convention but once I got over myself and my assumptions that they didn't want to meet me, they were more than willing to wear a smile and teach me anything I wanted to know.
