      E have made a fool of Clément. I’ve seen the original description of the effect used on his website and it’s a way more honest representation of the effect than what E say. 🤡

    Thanks a lot for telling the truth Scott, I was considering this until I watched your review, I would definitely not wanna install anything on my spectator’s phone because in my opinion it isn’t right and if something goes wrong then they’ll blame us.

    • @EverythingMagicPro99

      Exactly. Not to mention it’s done without the owners consent, which probably violates privacy laws in some countries.
      I will always do my best to educate everyone on the reality of products so they can make informed purchases they’re happy with.

      You don’t install something « bad » you can’t take information from the spectator phone or make bad things, for me tricks like inject are more dangerous but not lumen.

    Great review! I absolutely hate phone magic where you have to input something secret into a spectators phone! I recently bought ‘Pulse’ a very easy to use app and well taught. However as the creator explains it’s a much better effect if you perform on a borrowed spectators phone. You also receive an NFC chip to connect to the spectators phone. But even after you’ve connected you still have to input secret info and type in a fake web address! All of which raises immediate questions and suspicions!

      @Clementdinatalemagic 4 месяца назад +3

      With lumen you just input and there is no website etc… personally I don’t hate phone magic, I prefer classic magic ( I’m a coin magician and mentalist) but we need to by in our time, phones are every where and we can make good things with phones 🤗

      I understand that communication hides a little and disappoints, I think it's rather hard to sell a magical product by hiding the secret partially so some things are said and others not, in the case of lumen, it can disappoint in seeing the review because you have the impression of a scam, personally every magician who saw me do it at conventions bought it from me because it works and by seeing it in real life and seeing me do it you will understand that not all of the “problems” stated in the video are really problems. I'm just talking because even if the review is good it taints my image a little while initially I created this tour for myself and I like to share my ideas, you can see it with my publications on the pieces. There is no intention to scam and I published the trick because for once I found a use of nfc and shortcut simple and which works for real conditions

  • @Nickaloadyon
    @Nickaloadyon 4 месяца назад

    Wow, and it’s like how could I know a spectator has downloaded the shortcuts app on their phone. How do you fish for that type of information before performing the trick ? Thank you for your review!!

    • @EverythingMagicPro99

      As I say in the review, Shortscuts is pre-installed on every iPhone these days but as someone who deletes unwanted apps, it’s a potential problem every once in a while.
      Hope you found the review helpful.

      Since my review Clément has told me E has added further clarification to the product page for “performance restrictions”.

      Exactly. It’s a security risk and in terms of corporate events it’s probably against GDPR laws. If ANYTHING goes wrong with a spectators phone after this trick they’ll blame the magician.

      @@EverythingMagicPro99 Reminds me of the new inject addon, where you steal information from autofil. My main job is in cybersecurity and I would never, ever even think about using something like that. Depending on the country you are living in its illegal + as you said, if something goes wrong (regardless if its connected to what you did / didnt do) chances are high that you are being blamed for it. I don't exactly know how Lumen works - but imagine finding a strange code days after a magician / mentalist touched your phone. How should a lay person know that it's only controlling the light and not doing something else / something malicious? I really don't understand how they decided to sell a product like this.

    • @EverythingMagicPro99
      @EverythingMagicPro99  4 месяца назад +1

      Well, unlike inject, the Shortcuts script is deleted from the phone before handing it back.
      What if they don’t let you take the phone back though? 😂
      I’m glad you commented because the cybersecurity side of it is crazy. With all these apps being used that do something covert on people’s phone without the owners consent, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets sued.
