In this video we have discussed results of limit superior, limit inferior. In which first result is on limit point of sequence or we can say collection of all limit points of sequence. then take supremum from set is nothing but a limsup of sequence. Also, if we take infimum of the set then it will become liminf of sequence. Second result of limit superior and limit inferior is very important for exams like csir net, set, gate exam. In which we get clear idea about convergent sequence, divergent sequence and oscillatory sequence. also we can find limit of sequence if it is convergent sequence.
In the previous video we have discussed limit superior, limit inferior. We give notation like limsup liminf. The topic sequence of real number or sequence is very important. In which we must know the concept of limit superior and limit inferior. So that we get idea of convergent sequence, divergent sequence, oscillatory sequence. We have discussed limsup and liminf examples. You know very well sequence of real numbers. So you can use this concept for csir net real analysis questions.
