Fair play, not many Arsenal supporters willing to admit that they were beaten by the better side on the day, you's regularly whallop us at your place so it's nice to get these wins... Have a word with Captain Scarlett though, he is such a whiny graceless sore-loser & it's unbearable.
I’m a spurs fan mate and I rate him highly. Every team needs this type of player. Brings so much balance with the way teams press up from now you need that kind of player to sure it all up. Another under rated top player.
Ian wright love or hate him. He’s probably the most non biased pundit when it comes to the other teams arsenal play against. He loves Arsenal and that’s fine and he leans towards them whenever he can but I must admit it never clouds his ability to praise other teams that are bigger and better than arsenal.
@ yes agreed but I have seen him say good things over the years about spurs even. And although he hates them rightfully so he still says the right things 99/100 times. He’s been a real admirer of Kane and always said positive things about him which so many pundits can’t find the intelligence to do. Love wrighty. The only gooner I will ever like listening to.
Personally, I have always held a lot of respect for the unsung local heroes in our squad/team. Your Taylors, Ameobis, Dummett's, Watson's, Longstaffs etc. have been some of our most versatile & dependable players that all gave 100% in every game that they played. Al's right, if you don't come in for a fee people don't seem to register or notice you as much.
I agree, but would actually put Longstaff in the bracket above the others named. Ameobi, Dummett, Taylor etc were all fairly dependable, if limited, players, willing to put a shift in. However, none of them had the ability that Longstaff has. The fact he can, and has, been a mainstay of a top 4 PL side and not looked out of place speaks volumes.
@@synthesizerpatel7405 Steve Watson played most of hs career in a PL team, Everton fans rate & praise him more than we do tbf. Clark & Carrol also broke the mold somewhat and were a cut-above most academy products. Longy is HUGELY underrated though & such a valuable asset. I honestly think our fans won't realise that until a club like Man-U offer £40-50M for him & he has his head turned. He hears the constant criticism & rarely gets any praise from fans. It's gotta hurt to feel so unappreciated.
@@Yungrexy Steve Watson was a bit before my time, but yes, you’ve got to have something about you to have as many PL apps as he racked up. Also seems to have been quite a versatile player, who could do a job in most positions you put him in. Maybe a bit James Milner-esque? I do remember Andy Carroll breaking through and being really excited by him, particularly around 2010 when defenders just couldn’t handle him. I still maintain to this day, if he had taken it all a bit more seriously and looked after himself properly, he would have been a natural successor to Alan Shearer. That 10/11 season, before he got injured, he had 11 goals in 19 games. Apart from Kane, I don’t think we’ve seen anything like that from a young English striker in the PL since. Completely agree with you on Longstaff. We do, as a fanbase, have a tendency to be harsher on our home grown players for some reason. Longstaff has experienced that more than anyone. I think some people’s views on him have been affected by last season, when he was largely playing through injury.
Its mint to see longstaff shutting the entitled divvies up. I swear i dont onow what is wrong with some of these fans .i do know that the entitled few are rarely actually Geordies.some of the new fans are giving us a bad name. Born a Geordie NuFC tiLL i DiE ✊⬛⬜⬛⬜
Those deluded Arsenal fans who were 'thrilled and excited' when Arteta got rewarded for his embarrassing failure with an extended contract for another 3 seasons should now all be praying that them 3 seasons are Summer, Autumn and Winter....
@ lol he has 12 goals in his last 12 premier league games at st James park that doesn’t mean he’s scored in every game if he scored 6 in his first game then scored none for ten games and scored 6 in the twelfth game that’s still 12 in 12 😅😂
Longstaff is not the best in anything but his energy and commitment rise above everything and above all he is kinda like the Lucky charm for us... When he plays we tend to win more often
Not lost a game that he started & not won a game that he didn't start... It's not just chance/luck, it's that fans don't appreciate what an engine like him brings to the team as it's not the pretty stuff of Bruno, Isak, Gordon etc. it's the gritty stuff (blocks, tackles & break-up play) that creates the room for the flair players to capitalize upon. Shearer nailed it earlier when he said that the homegrown players don't get the appreciation they deserve in part because they enter the squad without fee or fanfare & largely just go under the radar.
Arsenal have two problems, Luck of striker and poor selection of the team. Players play out of their positions. Why party play in Ben White's position. Let players play in their positions. Otherwise some of us we hv started losing hope of winning the league this season
Their problem is they have 0 mental toughness and the club has the most entitled whingy fanbase in the league, which has rubbed off onto the players. All they ever do is play the victim and have tantrums on and off the pitch when anything doesn't go their way. It's pathetic. They're not missing a striker, they're missing a Viera
What difference does age make? Also, NUFC have a lot of young & very talented players (Miley, Hall, Tino, Gordon etc), our youth team is full of wonderkids that we have been signing from the academies of the top clubs & now that PSR restrictions can be avoided NUFC only need a few top signings to turn this squad into genuine contenders & potential trophy winners. As a fan I am more optimistic now than I have ever been in my many (trophyless) years following the club.
You don't win nothing with kids, anyone remember that when man u had Beckham and co coming through they got beat and the jock (Alan Hansen) on MOTD said that then they won the league, age has nothing to do with anything if your good enough your old enough
I totally agree with Wor Al Sean does in incredible work yes may give ball away sometimes but so do others .But I know Eddie does what’s best for the team.🌑⚽️🖤🤍
Deserved win for Newcastle ftom an Arsenal supporter.

Isak the best HWTL
Longstaff provides balance … not the best player but gives us balance which is super important
I’m a spurs fan mate and I rate him highly. Every team needs this type of player. Brings so much balance with the way teams press up from now you need that kind of player to sure it all up. Another under rated top player.
What a cross from Gordon perfect.

I think being a good mate of Shearers, he has a bit of an affection for Newcastle

Agreed. Longstaff is a talisman for the Toon. We play better with him 🖤🤍
I LOVE Longstaff. I wish some of the 'fanbase' would get off his back.

One of our own 🥰 Longstaff is a talisman for the Toon. We play better with him 🖤🤍
Say what you will about Sean.. He's 100% a teamplayer. And I love him for it.
This is an undeniable fact 👊
Sean Longstaff is wrongly and Massively underrated by the entitled glory hunters .ynaa the type 👊
Is Toon short for Saudi Arabia sellouts?
It's about time Sean got some credit and the knockers get off his back we'll done
@@Cedisdead A bit salty are we?
Been one of longstaffs biggest criticts but last 2 games he has been brilliant
He's been brilliant for a good decade at least.
The better team won!

Great result come on the toon keep going we need to get up the table let's hope we can get another three points in the next game
Sean spoke so well, every team needs a Sean Longstaff, he is a big player and fully deserves a new contract this season.
Don't know what we would do without these women reporters!
You might aswell just wear a shirt that says 'I repel women'
We are👊 ,its true ...we are amazing us Geordies like
Isak is the kind of striker arsenal need
Narh he has actual ambition. Won't be assna he goes to
He's not going to a club of bottlers supported by plastics. He's happy here at a proper club.
@oitoitoi1 🤣🤣🤣
(Newcastle fan) Yes, I totally agree
I think he's genuinely happy here. On his way to hero status. Only reason he'll leave is because of PSR and we are getting held back
Isak the Best ✌️👏👏👏👏😉Newcastle +PAOK =🤝⚪⚫⚪⚫Casper 4 PIRAEUS 🦅🏳️🏴🇬🇷✊🚩🇻🇳🇨🇺🇵🇸

How has he got 12 in 12 at St James park? He hasn't...
😂 but he has they put the stats up 12 in 12 since December
@jonodunn2592 no he hasn't.
@ he has scored in his last 12 league games at st James prove me and the bbc wrong
@jonodunn2592 for a start he didn't score against brighton on the 19th Oct. ...... pls respond

When he's 90 % fit he's crap, but when it 100 he always plays well.
I can see isak ending up at arsenal tbf he seems reluctant to sign a new deal at nufc!.
Not the best player but a nice bloke👍
Lego heads title challenge over again for another season.
Id get rid of longstaff in the summer , the lad isn’t good enough for us . Plays well in the odd game that’s it .
Deluded ? No trophy since 69 aye ,keet deluded us like😊
Yeah when prem racist to our owners as we can't spend
😃
Newcastle's average age player 28 WTF
Their fans are so deluded at what's needed to win a trophy.
We can't spend because of red cartel clubs stopping us spending
