The transitions from the ethereal ambient soundscapes to the full on 80s styled warped out sections of the song are so damn great. This is one of the best things ive heard in a while and i kind of want to get into these genres now..
@@felixx321 it's kind of a more ambient style of vaporwave, just added with a ton of more effects like flanger/phaser, delay, and a ton of manipulations to the pitch/speed of the song, this project I started doing because of the artist Desert Sand Feels Warm At Night
@@felixx321 in a nutshell, 80s disco/electronic music but more open/reverby. Vaporwave is more sample driven although plenty of artists make vaporwave from scratch. It's just niche internet genres at the end of the day to make people like me feel special lol
@@darkmanarecordings yeah I do like it it's just when every few years a new word + wave is added its just like... ya know 🤪 appreciate the honest response lmao
So I'll actually spill the beans! All of these pads/synths are all originally made by me and this album was entirely created in my DAW FL Studio, basically you put together a basic ambient track and a catchy track together. but the key is, when I finish the main song, with vocals and everything, i take the exported file of the Song, fully mixed and mastered, and I stretch the audio out and put a reverb on the master with the occasional phaser/delay coming in and out subtly that gives this grainy, wobbly effect, aswell as pitching down the master track to get that "low voice" effect you hear in track one. Sorry if that's super long lol! I appreciate you asking about my art and taking the time to comment on my stuff and I'm super thankful you're here engaging with my side of the music sphere!
this is awesome

This is gonna sound funny but the album cover is my trashcan but edited in Photoshop lmfao

Cool, psychedelic. How many samples were you using during production? I still can hear some catchy tunes through the pad bliss
