Your video helped me so much!! I have a 9800 and finally got it to work tonight after watching your video! I do have a question, my white is at 90, but isn’t laying enough down, what should I do? RIP 10 software…
How does the nozzle check look? Are you shaking the white ink regularly or has it been sitting? 90 is very high, usually 70 is plenty. What type of ink is it
Everything looks great on nozzle check, I just had some ink that came with my printer… so it could be the ink. What do you recommend? Just got this printer and converted it last might
Hello Seth, is this printer model DTF from (original) ? or is it converted to DTF ? i found a 2nd hand Epson 4800 for DTF, owner says it is working perfect, and asking 2400 euros, what is your recommendation? pls 🙏👍
You don’t need to However if you don’t flush it with cleaning fluid it will take longer for the white ink to come out clean. In hurry I’ve done it both ways

Hi. Where do I purchase your maintenance ships and why you prefer the 4800 to the 4900. I have a used 4900 I want to convert but don’t want to spend money on the refillable cartridges unless I’m sure that it will work ?
The 4900 prints faster and higher quality, however you will be replacing the capping station every 6-13 months. The 4900 is also just generally more sensitive and less reliable. I have some maintenance chips for sale if you need some
Hi what ,my white channel ( L magenta) looks like jammed with an old regular ink , i try to.make poewr cleaning for 3 times ,all the other chanels are good except that one , any solution to get the line clear ? And what do you think about the chip decoder ? If there is one pin coming out of the cartridge reader with the decoder work? Is that easy to fix the pin that came out ? Thank you
Replacing pin connectors in the ink bay is relatively easy, the chip decoders also work great. For the ink, is there air in the ink line? Or does it appear as solid as the other ink lines that are flowing
Hello, can you tell me please is the epson sc pro 4000 can be converted to DTF? and what program(RIP,SOFTWARE) can I use to print on mac or windows? thanks
I am not 100% sure but I believe the 4000 can be sued with the newer version of acrorip. I do not use that software I use cadlink digital factory. Both software programs are only available for windows
Hi can you please help me with setting up printer on Cadlink? I’m trying to print an image and it just says printing 5% but printer won’t even print at all
Hi, have you had any issues with air in the ink lines? Just recently my ink lines are getting air inside it. I would manual prime the dampers and line would get filled with ink, but after awhile air gets back inside the line. These dampers are only 2 to 3 months old and I run the printer once a twice a week only. Any suggestion would be great!
Are you using refillable ink cartridges? Are the air holes open? Have you flushed the ink lines with cleaner recently? How old are the dampers? Does a power cleaning temporarily fix the issue?
@@sethdanenberg4978 I am using refillable cartridges and they are about 3 months old. Dampers are only about 3 months old. I have not flushed the ink lines but I do pull ink from dampers and it pulls ink into the lines. Power cleaning does temporarily fix the issue, but once I let it sit with the power over night or a few days there is ink in the lines again. Not just bubbles but like about half in inch to an inch in certain spots of the line near the dampers. It is mainly the white lines, yellow and magenta.
@@thepunisher794 the dampers and manifold are all screwed down tight? How is the print nozzle check? Is there dried ink visible stuck in the print lines?
@Seth Danenberg when pull ink out of dampers and do a power clean, it prints fine. Nozzle check is perfect. There is only air in line once I let it sit. I have pulled it dampers and heads out several times to figure out why it is getting air in line
