Elijah Craig barrel proof for only $70 in NJ is an absolute steal, last one I got was 67% and it was stunning

I can find all these bottles at my local total wine store in Arizona. I always see Buffalo Trace bottles for $25. Today I picked up 2 bottles of Old Grand Dad 114 for $20 each.
Just got old Forester 86. It's not bad, easy sipper

Love the Old Grand-Dad Bonded and 114. Not super complex, but the notes they hit are nice. Price is outstanding on both too.

Redwood empire is the king of sub 40 imo.
Again you have came up with a great list. I would totally recommend folks go for those bottles and explore them before hunting for more expensive bottles

where are you at getting those for those prices? and I live in a state where bourbon is relatively cheap, but not that cheap!

I have half of them, and the ones I don't have, I'm not looking for. I'd replace the Russell's 10 with the Rare Breed. I would get Redwood Empire Pipe Dream if it becomes available.
I do like the Rare Breed but getting hard to find and too expensive in my area

Woodford reserve is definitely the best of them I reckon bulleit a close 2nd.
Been looking for Buffalo Trace in Arizona and my girlfriend found it so I bought 3 bottles because I knew I'd like it. Cracked one of them open as soon as I got home and it's delicious!

I dont have Russels, Old Grand Dad and Redwood - The rest I have, and all of them are good! Recently I find myself going back to the JD bonded quite often these days. JD got me into whiskey and Makers got me hooked! Cheers! 😊😊

Yeah I asked for a bottle at my local total wine and of course they were out but they suggested 1792 for a similar taste and now it’s my bottle of choice definitely a upgrade from jack

Bruh I got Bulleit for $25 a bottle last month lol All of those except BT are at my local liquor store. I can recommend them all but if you can't find BT you'll be fine. I personally think Bulleit is a bit better than BT

Wow,around me they are so marked up. I'm still hunting but for example- Blantons $200 at 2 different stores. I got Eagle Rare for $70. But why are they so marked up?!?! Old Forester 1910 was 65 - Four Roses small batch 70
I've seen a couple of RUclips videos, "x number of whiskeys better than Blantons". Everyone says it's good but not at that price. Costco brand bourbons. Kirkland Signature. They're good and at a fair price. Blanton's, like Pappy, is not overrated but overpriced.
