I just found this video just in time. It's exactly what I need. I had a Vevor CW5000 delivered a few days ago for the DIY 60W laser cutter/engraver I just started to build. I read the instruction booklet briefly and was concerned that the default "intelligent" mode appears to set the temperature higher than I have been led to understand is ideal for the laser tube. It looks like it should be a breeze to set the chiller up correctly following this video. Thanks a lot.
Hi Just picked up a dead Piranha 5030t with this chiller. I am in the North of England so cold as, however think ill run these settings when i get the unit running. Thanks for this, very helpful as i have no documentation at all with the laser or chiller.
Setting up my cw-5200. I live in the US (Texas) where it's HOT most of the time. I'm terrified about choosing the wrong temperature. I have a 100 watt laser. Any advice?
Great videos! What temp in celcius should be maintained for a 60W or 80W C02 tube in a stinking hot shed in Adelaide? Do you add anything to the water (like radiator fluid (as I have seen elsewhere))? Or is it just Tap Water?

Can you set the temp below 3c? I need to go below 3c. Can you set it 0c or go into the negitives? say -10c if needed? Also do you know what the chiller is made of? is it stainless steel or cooper internally?
Hello, hope you see this! Help please. I have just bought 130W with 5250 chiller. The laser will run with chiller connected via alarm wire and turned off but gets water error message on Ruida when powered on. They have used 2 same color wires on alarm wire. I think we hhave decided the issue might be mis wiring at factory BUT, the wires are same color and its a 2 wire plug tat laser o 3 wires at chiller. The chiller manuals identifies as H1 as Red, H2 as Green, and H3 as Black. I have marked my 2 yellow alarm wires as 1 and 2. They had yellow wire 1 on red and yellow wire 2 on black, green ?? ground?? Is there anyway you can confirm that green is not connected to the yellow alrm wires? Then its just a matter of reveresing them, which I actually think I tried and it still failed. I am thinking the green wire ought to be connected to one of my yellow alarm wires???
great instructions, but unfortunately my new chiller wont cool. compressor gets real hot and the outlet pipe running from the compressor to the condenser isn't even warm, nor is the pipe from compressor to water tank cold. either it has no gas or the compressor is a dud? either way its doing my head in trying to sort it and the seller is trying everything to get out of any responsibility they have.

Brilliant - thanks. I’m in Oz, so was concerned about the temp the chiller was allowing, and so this instruction set was perfect, and easy to follow.

Great video! I needed to adjust mine to NOT chill during the winter when I have an aquarium heater in the tank.
