Hi Mike, thank you for your comment! Keith knows best. Just ask for the tip opening and facing length you like, maybe also what bothers you/what you'd like to get it to do, and let him do his magic with the rest. Good luck!
Thank you, Carl! The Gaia 4 looks and feels more like a refaced mouthpiece. It translates to less/ no squeaks, easier altissimo and lower notes. Is also feels less reed picky. While both are great, I'm happy to have upgraded to the 4. Hope that helps!
Hey! I went for that plating just for looks. I don't feel like plating makes any difference. At least from my experience with saxes/mouthpieces. It just looks goooodddd 😎
@@AviRafaelMusic Makes sense! And it's good to know TW does custom platings. I came across this vid because i'm very interested in the piece. I'm especially curious of the differences between the 3 and 4. So, your video has been very helpful. You sound stellar on it. It'll be my next mp!
I had the 3 and upgraded to the 4, after trying. It just felt like it's responding better overall. It also seems like the tip of the 4 is rounded better to the shape of a Reed. That's probably a big reason for it to respond better.
Hey! I would recommend getting the Gaia 4. It feels better than the Gaia 3. It's very similar to Ottolink, but a little bit brighter, which works great for me. Good luck!
He's back!!!
Both sounds great.
Gteat review...Man whats that instrumental playing nice choice
I really like your sound on that RR. Glad to see you back on RUclips, seriously one of my very favorite channels.
You rock Charles, I appreciate it! Glad you like the RR, it's very comfy after the reface job!
I just bought a used RR 7th ave S and a new Gaia 4, both are really versatile.
Yes indeed! Love those pieces.
Very interesting!
Thanks Bob, I appreciate it :)

Both mouthpieces sounds great! I prefer the fatness of the Gaia 4.
I think it's an awesome piece...it's fat, it can be bright if needed, and it's very comfortable. Not something you see everyday 😁
Great video! Any additional thoughts on the differences between the Gaia 3 and Gaia 4?
Thank you, Carl!

@@AviRafaelMusic Thanks for the reply! You sound great on both mouthpieces, but the Gaia has a little extra richness that I prefer.
@@cditkoff My pleasure, man! I appreciate your opinion very much! The Gaia is definitely a great piece to have :)
I don’t play horns, I’m just hear you listen to you play yours and admire your hair.
Dude, you're gonna make me cry

@@AviRafaelMusic lol.......you do have a nice sound on the Gaia 4!
I came for the Avi Vs Avi stuff

Lol, ya gazur 💙
just curious, what made you interested in getting a silver/white bronze version instead of the standard gold?do plating affect the tone?

@@AviRafaelMusic Thanks so much for your insight, sir!
I cant seem to find the white bronze version of the Gaia 4 anywhere.. Was it a limited edition mouthpiece?
Hi! It's a 1 off they made especially for me. But the gold version should be exactly the same :)
@@AviRafaelMusic Ah ok, i was just asking because I prefer the look of the white bronze, thanks for the quick reply though!
Hi . So what u prefer gaia 3 or gaia 4?? Looking for New mouthpiece. Coz now im using durga 3 for me too bright. Looking MP similar like ottolink
