Hi, I watch your channel for my personal cleaning, I enjoy your content. I have a question about the Toiletwand. I’ve been using the product for over a year now, I bought a lot of refills when I first purchased the kit. I’m about to run out of cleaning pads, and was thinking about going back to a regular brush. What is the main advantage of the Toiletwand? I still clean the Wand after using and let it dry, like a regular brush. Debris can get up into the wand if it gets submerged while cleaning, which it does for me. That’s why I rinse very well. If the Wand still needs cleaned, what is the advantage? Is it supposed to be easier to clean than a regular brush, because of no bristles? What am I missing? Thanks.
I bought my Clorox wand from Amazon too. Also , mine came without instructions. I went looking for ‘How to Use’ instructions. Thank you so very much for your informative video!
I've used this product ever since it came out. It is my favorite cleaning tool ever! I used to get nauseated with those nasty cleaning brushes, no matter how well I cleaned them. This system is wonderful and does a great job! It felt so good to throw the old brushes and containers in the garbage!
@@AskAngelaBrown Hey Angela, you're so welcome. I know this is on another video, but I tell you, I will never tackle my blinds again. If I EVER get through trying to get them clean, never again! What are your thoughts on shades?
Angela, you are an excellent educator! I do use the Clorox Toilet wand. I like the convenience of the product use and disposal. Watching your video helps me in cleaning my toilet. Thank you very much for sharing. I wish these videos were available earlier in my life. I am 71 yrs young.
Thank you so much! You carry yourself so professionally, give excellent information, and you CARE about giving the correct information, not just what people want to hear. You’re awesome a truly a one stop source for so much proper, quality cleaning.
I love The Clorox toilet wand system. I use Clorox wipes to clean the wand after use. I get grossed out seeing regular toilet brushes in a bathroom. Great review and tutorial. Thanks.
I have no words to say how useful your videos are. I have used this product for a longtime now. I have no issues cleaning my toilets. Actually take pride in keeping them clean myself
I've been using this system for over a year now. I love it not only for it's convenience and not having to deal with nasty toilet bowl brushes but love how well it gets up under the rim. Not to mention how much better this system looks compared to the old nasty toilet bowl brush.
I’ve been using these for years, they’re great! I find that keeping one next to each toilet in the house makes it even easier, because I don’t have to go get out all my supplies - I can just do it whenever I happen to be in that bathroom and it’s super fast. As a busy mom with 2 little boys, it’s awesome.
I'm a guy here. Unfortunately I've had a tough time cleaning things like my toilet lately, as I've been dealing with a contamination based OCD. Your video and this wand make it look a ton easier to do. I cant wait to try it out!
these REALLY cleans toilet or anything alike... such as sink, rim / side of toilet bowl... i usually clean these first then finally clean the inside of the toilet.
After watching you review this product I went out and bought 3 so I could have them in each bathroom! I love the way they clean even on dried up messes in the toilet. I also love the fact that I don't have any toilet brush containers any longer. Thank you for all your videos Angela you and all of us have made the world a cleaner place.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. I love hearing stories like this and the results people find when cleaning with products they've not used before. Thanks for sharing. :-)
Oh wow!! Thank you for this video! I am new to cleaning as I lost my job and no more cleaning service after decades. I am learning so much on RUclips! This product has so many review on Amazon but came here to get the full scoop! Yep I am buying this product! ....Oh I wanted to add that you are awesome Angela Brown!!
@Angela Brown I am curious if you have ever used the Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush and wonder how these 2 compare. I have not tried the Clorox brand brush but I like the Scrubbing Bubbles one, it seems to do a very nice job. The Clorox brush looks larger and looks very good, too. I'm not sure of the cost difference. Thank you for your time and another great video. Now I'm off to do the dreaded Venetian Blinds cleaning (uggggghhhhhh)
Hello Angela this is Kim I just wanted to let you know that I used that Clorox wand I absolutely love it I've been using it now for 2 months now I clean offices and bathrooms for a living and your videos are awesome I'm learning a lot from you and I am ordering your book I love to clean I'm new to your videos and I've been watching them now for 2 weeks straight
Hi Kimberly, thanks for joining me here. I'm so excited that you've put the information you've learned to good use. Keep me posted. I'm here rooting for you. 👏👏👏
I've used this for yrs & love it. Trying to sterilize regular toilet brushes is more work plus you have to purchase toilet bowl cleaners which can leak & be messy. This is cleaning smart!
Lots of people LOVE this toilet wand - and I'm so glad because hopefully those that didn't like the regular brushes have a solution to cleaner toilets now. :-)
I would be careful with purchasing them on Amazon as I’ve done this twice to save money and they always send knock-offs that fall off the plastic connector and fall into the toilet. Actually wasted my money. So now I buy them straight from the source or the store. Perfect quality that way
@@a.colleenfray2138 I have been using this product for years, and loved it. However, since covid, the Clorox brand also falls apart. I thought it was a fluke when I bought the first time after things were available again, so I bought it again. Same problem. I got something else in the meantime, but tried to come back to it after a year and same problem. I'm done with it now. If they can't fix their problem they will lose customers.
I did use the Clorox toilet wand system for a while, but I prefer Scrubbing Bubbles. I think it does a better job of under the rim, and I like that the wand just hangs on the side of the tank so there is no caddy to take care of. The refills I keep under the sink. If you haven't reviewed this item, you might try it out to see which you like best. Scrubbing bubbles has two types of heads. The scrubber which you use for regular cleaning and a flushable soft paper head to use on skid marks.
You just did an excellent review. Thanks for sharing this along with your personal reasons why. That too is fascinating and helpful. I appreciate you. :-)
Thank you so much for your very detailed review and tutorial on how to use this product! I ordered this off of Amazon but the product itself did not come with any instructions on how to put it together or use it. I appreciate you making this video on how to use the product and the other information on cleaning. 😊
I really love your videos, so helpful and your energy and video presence is awesome and your product knowledge amazes me, ty for the ways you have helped me
Hi Angela, I have used this since it came out. I love it!! When I clean my bathrooms, I use the antibacterial wipes from Costco (Kirkland) and the disposing of the little toilet scrubber makes me feel better. Not having a grody brush with germs all over it is great. When I'm finished with the wand, I use one of the wipes to clean the end. I just hope they don't stop making these. It seems to happen with me when I find a product I like and use. Thanks for the demo. And i am glad it does what it says and disinfects. Thanks! Dawn
Some of my clients have these and prefer I use them, which is fine, but the refills were MIA when COVID hit. I told them it’s wise to still have old school toilet brushes as backup in case supplies become scarce again.
I purchased this product for my guest bathroom when I opened an Airbnb but failed to include instructions for how to use it. Unfortunately, one of my guests flushed a scrubby head, and my husband had to pull the toilet up to dislodge it. Tonight I've been researching alternatives, but I am also considering putting it back into service once I add usage instructions to the sign on the back of the door. I do like the convenience and sanitary nature of the product, but it is expensive to use---especially when used improperly. :)
thank you for this. i received a white box starter kit with no instructions. i'm glad i watched your video first. i would've thought to use it on the whole toilet!
Great video. I just received all parts of the wand and sponges from Amazon. Have not used it yet. You explained how to use it well. I have professional cleaners starting next Saturday. I can teach them if they don’t know how to use it. Thanks so much.
I have been using this system for 3 years now. The only problems I have encountered are, the disk material tends to get water bogged and loose while being used. These were new disks 2022 and I think they may have had a production issue- so be careful. I did not have that problem with the first disks I used...When the disk becomes "water full and floppy", take it out (it will also appear to be pulling away from the plastic it is on). Then just use a fresh one to finish the cleaning and avoid a fall apart situation. The other issue I had occurs when cleaning down the throat of the toilet - the disk can get caught and pulled off! I had one go down the toilet and had to call a plumber to retrieve it out as it lead to water overflow ! Great Review Angela Brown and very thorough- esp on the MSDS sheet info.!
Thanks for the feedback and the heads up. I appreciate your review as well. I wonder what happened to the production of the new discs. Were they Clorox brand? I've had less than fun user experiences when I use "off" brands with branded products - somehow they don't perform as well, or they fall apart. 🤔
Dear miss brown am having a job with old toilet floors where i work what would you use to lift very bad soiling they are old floors their must be something to soak in some trick of the trade
When you say old toilet floors what do you mean. Are you talking about the floors around the toilets? Is this a residential or a commercial job? And what are the floors made of? Are they tile?
@@AskAngelaBrown Dear Angela am doing school cleaning the floors seem like a plastic lino under the sinks is like a black film they must be years old and cant seem to shift any marks at all is there some magic mixture to soak on the surface ?
Thank you for this video. I wish I had known about this product years ago. I'm trying to learn to clean easier and faster, and this seems like it will help. Could this also be used to clean the bathtub and tile walls?
Not really designed for bathtub tile and walls. The toilet brush pods are designed for one time use only and they are a lot like an SOS pad. Once it is wet it starts to break down. It is great for toilet cleaning but if easier and faster is the goal, I recommend a good old fashioned toilet brush (paid link amzn.to/3o87oyg) next to the toilet. Each morning for 10 seconds, clean the ring line, under the rim and in the drain of the toilet and you'll never need any heavy duty cleaning pods, toilet bowl cleaner etc. Just a bit of powdered cleanser every couple of weeks. (paid link to BarKeepers Friend amzn.to/3zQAgxs)
Thanks Stephanie. We created the show because there weren't videos like this when I got started either. Thanks for watching and sharing in the conversation.
I've been using this product for years. I love it but one problem I had was that the caddy has holes on the bottom. From the moisture in the bathroom and my not drying the wand, it stained my floor permanently. I keep the caddy sitting on an old coffee can lid now. I did find large quantities of the refill pads on Amazon and, as you said, it really is worth it to buy in bulk.
I use this product for my clients homes and I love it! Pricey, yes. Convenience and level of cleanliness, a 10 and a must! Also, it’s 110 times a no brainer to carry in my supplies bag than an actual dirty large scrubber, yuck. Definitely recommend. Ps. Angela thanks for the coupons🥰
Where do you live? In Louisiana, ever since covid my refills (and the new setup) have been duds. They disintegrate as soon as they go in the water and I'm afraid I will have to fish them out of the bowl! Eww! I have a septic system, so nothing goes down that is not supposed to. Have you not noticed this problem where you are?
@@donnaoberdorf750 hi, I don’t buy them on Amazon for one as those are knock offs and do Disintegrate. And no they cannot be flushed as they will clog a toilet. I buy them from the direct source
@@a.colleenfray2138 I don't buy them on Amazon either. They are the brand name Clorox refills and complete setup. I don't use Amazon if I don't have to.
I really like the Clorox toilet wand, however recently the little scrubbie heads seem to fall apart somewhat easily. The white parts separate from the blue part that holds the cleaner.
I love this product I been using it since it came out and for the past year I notice the same thing the pads falls apart .. I had my patient but this and the same thing has been happening..
Hi! Can I use this for the bowl section of a bidet? I can’t find info anywhere and not sure if it was safe because of the protective seal on the bidet.
If you have a stand alone bidet and it is made of porcelain or ceramic yes. But if you have a plastic bidet just be gentle with the toilet brush or wand so you don't scratch the plastic. Most bidets will withstand a good scrub brush.
No. You may need a heavy duty acid for mineral build up. Try CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) amzn.to/3c1qgqx The Clorox toilet wand is more of a maintenance product.
The Clorox website states, “Clorox cleaning products do not contain any ingredients that will harm your septic system when used as directed.” www.clorox.com/clorox-faqs/
I haven't heard that - but often, if purchasing a competitor's refill or replacement pods they won't fit exactly. I've heard this to be true but don't know about the Clorox versions. Is that true for you?
Hi Angela, I left a previous comment & forgot to add that I really do enjoy this website, you give very in-depth commentary & I have used a number of your handy tips. I am not a professional cleaner just a house proud person.
They used to be better quality. The new replacement pads fall apart pretty quickly after hitting the water. They also used to have scented ones but not anymore.
@@carolynmiller7309 I also have found that they fall apart. If it was a covid issue, I think they have had enough time to fix the problem. Maybe they think no one will notice. I gave the 3 chances, now they're out. It was a great idea, but now, poor execution!
It is OdoBan 32X Bathroom cleaner here is the paid link amzn.to/3p9SHHW and it is a concentrate that is diluted to a pH neutral cleaner Earth Choice and Safer Choice certified for the environment.
I surprised the toilet paper rolls are out in the open. I saw another video where it is not a good idea to expose the rolls. I’m surprised that there isn’t some kind of shield to go over or in front of. Where are the inventors on that? My spares are kept in the area under the sink but covered. I wish I had some covered version for the current roll though. One is further away but the other bathroom, it’s too close. Have been looking.
I used the similar product scrubbing bubbles at a job for years . The cleaning thing you put on the extension could come off even in the locked position. So my assumption is it could have come off in the bottom of the toilet and you might have to call a plumber.
I love this thing. It is expensive, but I feel with the money you save on replacing standard toilet brushes, it is well worth it. One thing I do different is I clean the end of the wand with a Clorox wipe. Rinsing them off in the sink doesn’t seem very sanitary, even if you do clean the sink afterwards. I love your channel. I have bad knees, and will try almost anything to make cleaning easier.
I like your idea to use a Clorox wipe, thanks for sharing. Once the wand has been in the toilet bowl I could never set it on the bathtub, counter, sink, etc. (even if it is technically clean as Angela mentions....maybe it's just me but I wear disposable gloves, then when I'm done cleaning the toilet I release the used scrub head directly into an empty plastic grocery bag, wipe the handle off with a paper towel and put it into the same plastic bag, then remove my gloves and put them in the bag and take it directly outside to my trash bin. Then I wash my hands even though there's been no contact at all, lol! I'm really not OCD, I promise, just easily grossed out and take no chances.) I'm just a regular home owner but Angela and this channel are great! Just found it today and have been binge watching. :- )
It's most likely Odoban 32x Professional Bathroom Cleaner amzn.to/3DQUiIm which is Safer Choice and Earth Choice certified (biodegradable and designed for the environment.)
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank you so much I’ll make sure I get a bottle. I try not to use harsh detergents because I have allergies to a lot of things. And a lot of cleaners are not healthy to use. Thanks
So the toilet bowl cleaners on a pH scale are 1-2 which are REALLY STRONG chemicals. And once you've cleaned a toilet and it's looking fairly new again, a brush with gentle brushing should eliminate the need for all harsh chemicals moving forward. If you don't need the harsh chemicals, for the sake of your health, and the environment - don't use them. :-)
I've used Clorox cleaning wands for years, it cleans very well. Only problem I've had is the blue color can collect in crevices, etc. if you don't rinse it well enough. The blue residue cleans off with just a little water. I like the wands, much nicer than handling the nasty dirty toilet brush after clean the toilet. I also use clorox disposable wipes. :D
Love this product! I have been using it for years. I clean my toilet just about the same way you do but I use Clorox disposable sheets instead of paper towels (even on the tile floor around the toilet) and dry with a paper towel as needed. This way it’s all sanitary and I didn’t have to touch anything and it’s all in the trash instead of my washing machine. I like the idea of rinsing off the wand in the sink (hopefully before I have cleaned it!!!). I just let it drip dry over the toilet. I am not a professional but just a housewife/stay at home Mom who has been cleaning my own house since Covid (and off and on over the years-70 next month!). Gotta say though its getting a little bit harder getting down on my knees every time. Will be looking for a cleaning service when we move into the new house we are building. It will be way too much for me with 8 bathrooms!
The wand has to get wet before the cleaning chemicals on it can be activated. So at some point you will dip the wand in the toilet to activate the sponge. The secret is to do that part before you spray and wipe down the outside of the toilet which will remove any overflow germs.
I clean about 10 houses a week. Some people never clean their toilets in between the cleanings. Some let pee sit in the toilets for long periods. I think this is a great product. Getting the customer to supply this is a great idea!
Hi Teresa! Im considering using this wand for my cleaning business but im afraid it wouldn't be enough for first time clean (many people havent cleaned their toilets in a loooong time). Would you use it for those toilets too or use a brush then?
I have used the Clorox toilet cleaner since it was first marketed. I love it. I hate brushes as they splatter as you clean. It is impossible to remove the water from the traditional brush and the holder serves to hold this water and allows metal of the brush to rust. I cannot say enough good things about the Clorox cleaner. Also thank you for the information on the Clorox company and their diverse products.
No. You will need a strong acid for that. Iron stains we consider deep cleaning and the toilet wand we would only use for maintenance cleaning. For iron in toilets have you tried Iron Out? amzn.to/3pzZ2L2 They have toilet tablets that dissolve it on a regular basis.
I have the same exact type of product but it’s by Scotch-Brite. It’s a disposable toilet wand that is shaped slightly different. I think it does the same thing, in case anyone is wondering if there’s a difference. Although I haven’t tried the Clorox brand. I believe they are basically the same thing though.
It depends, some like to leave it open and others closed. If the seat is usually left down, it makes sense to leave it open, so that it is known that it has been cleaned. Thanks for watching.
Hi Marilyn are you talking about a black ring under the toilet rim? Please don't stand on your head in the bathroom - it may not be as sanitary as you think. :-)
I've been using the ToiletWand for years now, but I'm confused by two things in your cleaning process: first, if there is a reactivity issue (which I didn't know & I'll keep in mind now), then isn't it a risk that you're spraying with the spray bottle over the open bowl while the blue stuff is in there? And second, on the rim and that top part of the rim, wouldn't it be more sanitary to brush that FIRST before any scrubbing inside the bowl - or even to keep the wand for the inside of the bowl and use the spray on everythign else? (I call that part of the toilet the hangover ledge, because if you need to be sick, that's the part you definitely want clean and disinfected.)
Great points. Yes you can spray first to avoid any contact, the spray we are using is a pH neutral spray. And yes the entire toilet will need to be sanitized from top to bottom before anyone pukes in it. Good question. :-)
Here is a paid link to some of my favorite cleaners: www.amazon.com/shop/angelabrown/list/3PM7ZAZDKUCSI?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d As a professional house cleaner I tend to buy concentrated cleaning supplies. 👍
You can buy the replacement heads at Wal-mart, Target, Home Depot or online on Amazon amzn.to/3f9QnfP they come in large packs and prices depend on where you buy them.
I try to get as many uses out of the brush heads as possible to save money and to not create so much garbage. I scrub my toilet almost everyday so I would say one brush head would last around a week, I literally use until it falls apart. I line a vase with a plastic bag so I can store the wet wand in it to reuse.
I'm new to your channel and I'm so glad I found it and have since subscribed. I do wonder if it's recommended or frowned upon to use and then reuse the same pad on a second toilet before discarding it in the trash? Just curious in keeping costs lower.
Thank you for your question! While technically possible, it's advisable to use a fresh Clorox toilet wand pad for each toilet. In this way you're getting the best clean for each toilet
@@AskAngelaBrown Tried it today, and it worked like a charm! I definitely think it will be my new go to 'work smart' tool for my home. Thanks Angela! :-)
I love these. I wish they made the caddy smaller though. It is too wide and the disposable heads bounce around inside and turn upside down. I took the tube from a roll of paper towels, wrapped it in aluminum foil and put it inside the caddy. It holds them tightly in place and makes it easier to get them out. I think they work so much better and with much less mess than a brush and toilet cleaner. When you buy in bulk I don't think the expense is too much for the extra benefit of making toilet cleaning a much more pleasant a job.
According to the Clorox website, “Clorox cleaning products do not contain any ingredients that will harm your septic system when used as directed.” www.clorox.com/clorox-faqs/
Seemingly nice wand, BUT --- when the pad goes down the toilet (instead of into the trash can) it gets VERY EXPENSIVE. Yes, it happened and here's a quick summary of the results: (1) The renter [or a helpful friend?] cleaned his/her apartment toilet on move-out day. Nobody has admitted to doing it, but somehow the Chlorox disposable toilet cleaning pad went down the toilet and out of sight. (2) Checking the vacant apartment, the caretaker and later the property manager flushed the toilet [water only] and it looked/worked fine. (3) The next day a new tenant moved into the apartment and later she used it. The solid wastes immediately blocked the toilet, the bowl filled and sewage overflowed onto the floor. (4) The maintenance guy tried a plunger and then a snake to clear the toilet drain. Neither worked. The snake grabbed something, jammed, and could not be pulled back out. The toilet was removed and the blockage was not visible from either the toilet bowl or the toilet's exit hole. (5) A brand new toilet had to be purchased and installed. (6) The old toilet, with snake still stuck inside, was taken outdoors and broken with a hammer. VOILA! The Chlorox toilet wand's pad was on the end of the snake and there was a load of "sewage" piled up on the bowl-side of the lovely pad. BOTTOM LINE --- This is a "CRAPPY" DESIGN, not unlike little children swallowing and choking on small toys. SUGGESTION --- Provide larger [flush-proof] pads, or trash this product as a potentially expensive hazard.
@@AskAngelaBrown do Not use this product! I extensively read reviews on it about a year ago, and from that I learned that this product (used to be) good, but the company changed the product and started making it as a real shoddy product, and the product (now) has become cheaply made, and the pad doesn't stay on the wand. So, I didn't purchase it. The reviews helped me to avoid this (now) cheaply made faulty product.
Absolutely correct - we’ve lost many toilets in our complex this way , when the head dropped off and got jammed down in the toilet. Plus, the plastic waste this product adds to the landfills is an environmentally unsound practice
Never had a problem with the heads falling off. If I did, I'd pick it out before flushing. Anyone with a brain in their head would not flush something like this down the toilet. It's no different than flushing rags or toys down there. It is an excellent product. I guess if you have clueless people using the product you've got a problem. Nothing should be flushed down any toilet other than what the toilet is designed for. Also, wet wipes and thick soft toilet paper should not be flushed, neither dissolves well enough to prevent eventual clogging somewhere.
I’ve been using this system for many years with great results. You need to be a bit careful with it. The refills occasionally separate or are stuck together. I always park my trash can very close by. When done cleaning I dispose the head right into the trash can with waterproof liner. It does a good job of cleaning the toilet. I use it weekly, and use a plain brush in between. It seems within the last year the quality of the brush heads has been good again. Caution: I wouldn’t leave this system out when guests are expected, or in an Airbnb. It plainly states on the box Do Not Flush. However, if you leave the system out, the box with user instructions won’t be present any longer. It might be easy to assume the brush heads are flushable. Or, as is often the case, people don’t bother reading instructions. Don’t take that chance!
I have this and liked the concept, but I'm not happy with the quality of their refillable sponges. I've purchased two different sets of refills thinking perhaps I just bought bad 'batch', but they disintegrate 10-12 seconds after I begin scrubbing and would have to fish them out of the bowl. I may just go back to regular.
Thanks for your feedback. It's a fantastic concept for people who don't like to clean out the toilet You are correct in the disintegration of them as they are disposable, they are also pricey. The funny thing is I get to talk with lots of manufacturers of cleaning products in the beta phase and they ask me - "will this work?" And I HATE being the bad guy and sharing all the reasons a product will or won't work and pointing out that their expensive prototypes will never fly for this or that reason. Just last week I saw the coolest concept for a toilet bowl cleaner my answer - "Nope." :-(
@@SeaChellesShore You would think Walgreen's would carry the real thing. Perhaps people occasionally get a bad batch. So far, though, I haven't had a problem.
I love your videos and appreciate the time, effort, and knowledge that goes in to the content you provide. Thank you. I wanted to share my experience with this product and hopefully it will help others that may have similar flooring. Our main floor powder room has hardwood flooring. I learned the hard way that the wand holder for this product has a tiny drain hole that empties directly to the floor unlike traditional brush holders that hold any liquid remaining on the brush. The wand end of this product traps a tiny bit of liquid in the click mechanism that eventually finds it way out to the drain hole and directly to the floor. I now have a damaged wood floor that was concealed under the wand holder. Not happy. Also the caddy is rather large and has a lot of surface area that requires extra time and attention to keep it wiped down and clean. Thank you for pointing out that the cleaning head is small enough to flush and clog the toilet. I can only assume this type of clog would require a plumber and possibly a new toilet if this hard plastic piece gets lodged in the inner workings of the toilet. With young kids and guests it just seems like an accident waiting to happen. Because of these reasons I now just keep a wand and a ziplock bag of refill heads in my cleaning caddy and do not leave any of it next to the toilet.

Thanks.

That's great! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the product!
I bought my son the Clorox Toilet Wand and a couple boxes of refills for his dorm at college. He and his roommates LOVED it!!
That's awesome! Glad they love it! Thank you for sharing your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
It's the only way!
I'm a guy here. Unfortunately I've had a tough time cleaning things like my toilet lately, as I've been dealing with a contamination based OCD. Your video and this wand make it look a ton easier to do. I cant wait to try it out!
HazelEyedElf
ocd er here too. nothing is ever clean enough.
these REALLY cleans toilet or anything alike... such as sink, rim / side of toilet bowl... i usually clean these first then finally clean the inside of the toilet.
I’ve used this product for several years and love it! Quick, easy and no rusty toilet bowl brush sitting around.
I love stories like this.
Thank you for your kind words and good luck on your cleaning endeavor!❤
I recently purchased 30 Clorox refill pads for the toilet wand from Amazon for $11.64. A really great value!
I live in Huntsville, Al
I got to order some good price.
Awesome...great deal!
I have used this product for years, love it and wouldn’t be without it. I simply cannot stomach a nasty dirty toilet brush.
Havent seen them...but im out in the boonies now and dont even have a store near...ill look for it when i go to town....thanks
You, Ms. Brown, are a gift to humanity.
What a lovely thing to say. Thank you. And so are you. :-)
Thank you so much for your very detailed review and tutorial on how to use this product! I ordered this off of Amazon but the product itself did not come with any instructions on how to put it together or use it. I appreciate you making this video on how to use the product and the other information on cleaning. 😊
You are so welcome!
Have you saw the new dispenser that hooks on the side of the toilet for the tablets
I don't think I have. I will have to check it out, thanks!
I really love your videos, so helpful and your energy and video presence is awesome and your product knowledge amazes me, ty for the ways you have helped me
Thank you for your kind words, and for joining me here. I appreciate you. 🙏
Thanks!
Dawn
That's great! Fingers crossed that they don't stop making these. Thank you for sharing your personal feedback and thanks for watching the video. 😊
Same here. I feel sure they won't stop making them. I bet the sell them by the trillions!
Some of my clients have these and prefer I use them, which is fine, but the refills were MIA when COVID hit. I told them it’s wise to still have old school toilet brushes as backup in case supplies become scarce again.
You are right. Because it seems that they are becoming scarce again. Thanks for sharing.
Oh no! I am so sorry that happened. Thanks for making us aware that this could happen.
thank you for this. i received a white box starter kit with no instructions. i'm glad i watched your video first. i would've thought to use it on the whole toilet!
You are welcome! So glad that the video was helpful! Thanks for watching. 😊
Great video. I just received all parts of the wand and sponges from Amazon. Have not used it yet. You explained how to use it well. I have professional cleaners starting next Saturday. I can teach them if they don’t know how to use it. Thanks so much.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. 😊
Hooray! I'm so excited for you. Keep me posted and let me know how you like it. :-)
I just bought one and it's awesome. Threw away my old stinky brush. I love the new Clorox toilet wand. Great video 👍
Awesome...happy to know that you love it! Thank you for your feedback and for watching the video!😊
Good to know. I haven't used this one yet so really excited to buy and try. Thanks again.
You are so welcome! Hope you enjoy using it.
I have used the Clorox wand but find it is hard to get the scrub pad onto the wand.
Are you using Clorox replacement heads? I ask because other brand heads don't slide on as well as the original mfgr. replacements. Just a thought. 😀
Thank you for sharing this information. I did not know about this product, I will purchase one ASAP. 👏🌹
Let me know how you like it and if you will ever go back to the regular toilet brush.
Hi I do use the wand but it’s not getting the rings out. I may have to be more patient and let it sit longer. Thanks for sharing!
👍
Can you use the pad on more that on toilet ???
No not really. They don't last long and are really designed just for the inside of the toilet bowl. T
I flushed the disposable pad, would the plunger work to get it out?
Not get it out, it might push it farther down the plumbing. You may need a toilet auger amzn.to/3wGVqeZ to keep it from backing up your toilet.
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank you for this thorough response. You are the most helpful person on RUclips.

I used to clean houses years ago wish we had tips like yours
Thanks Stephanie. We created the show because there weren't videos like this when I got started either. Thanks for watching and sharing in the conversation.
I've been using this product for years. I love it but one problem I had was that the caddy has holes on the bottom. From the moisture in the bathroom and my not drying the wand, it stained my floor permanently. I keep the caddy sitting on an old coffee can lid now. I did find large quantities of the refill pads on Amazon and, as you said, it really is worth it to buy in bulk.
Using a lid to protect the floor is a great tip, thank you for sharing.
That is awesome...love it! Work smart, not harder. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
@@donnaoberdorf750 hi,
I don’t buy them on Amazon for one as those are knock offs and do Disintegrate.
I'm hearing that a lot these days. I wonder if the supplies they use to make them changed during the pandemic or something like that. 🤔
I love this product I been using it since it came out and for the past year I notice the same thing the pads falls apart .. I had my patient but this and the same thing has been happening..
You might not be buying "real" Clorox brand. Amazon sells a lot of cheap knock-off Clorox compatible heads.
Does this remove mineral build up too in the toilet?
No. You may need a heavy duty acid for mineral build up. Try CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) amzn.to/3c1qgqx The Clorox toilet wand is more of a maintenance product.
Can you use in toilets with homes that have septic system?
The Clorox website states, “Clorox cleaning products do not contain any ingredients that will harm your septic system when used as directed.” www.clorox.com/clorox-faqs/
I just found this video and I have been doing it wrong all these years. Thanks for the tips and I just used my new Clorox Wand with success.
I'm not sure why - but this comment from you brings me joy. Thanks for sharing and for spending a few minutes of your day with me. :-)
where can i purchase the shoe covering at a good price?
We buy them online. Here is the paid link amzn.to/3nir5zo and you want to make sure you get the kind with the tread that are non-slip.
This is really detailed! Thanks for uploading this video, I'm going to buy it :D
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Going to buy it but I’m afraid putting in the stick to pick it up will take germs in the tube
Hello! I was wondering how often should we be cleaning the toilet if two people use it full time?
Great question. Here's a video I made on that very topic ruclips.net/video/3oiSsip7E9w/видео.html
Did anyone have problems with the plastic part of the pad coming off of the pod?
I haven't heard that - but often, if purchasing a competitor's refill or replacement pods they won't fit exactly. I've heard this to be true but don't know about the Clorox versions. Is that true for you?
What is in your all purpose cleaner in the spray bottle.
It's OdoBan Earth Choice Bathroom Cleaner (we buy it in the gallon concentrate.)
Hi Angela, I left a previous comment & forgot to add that I really do enjoy this website, you give very in-depth commentary & I have used a number of your handy tips. I am not a professional cleaner just a house proud person.
Woot Woot! I love that term "house proud". Go Dawn. 👏👏👏 Thanks for keeping me posted an for spending a few minutes of your day with me. :-)
They used to be better quality. The new replacement pads fall apart pretty quickly after hitting the water. They also used to have scented ones but not anymore.
I have found this to be true also. Is this another covid issue? I do like them but coming apart is a problem
Great observations. Thanks for sharing.
@@carolynmiller7309 I also have found that they fall apart. If it was a covid issue, I think they have had enough time to fix the problem. Maybe they think no one will notice. I gave the 3 chances, now they're out. It was a great idea, but now, poor execution!
What all purpose spray are you using?
Hopefully someone comes up with something for this.
I used the similar product scrubbing bubbles at a job for years . The cleaning thing you put on the extension could come off even in the locked position. So my assumption is it could have come off in the bottom of the toilet and you might have to call a plumber.
Thanks for sharing!
I always put my brush to drip dry under the seat...everyone knows then its done...they put the dry brush up when they get home
Thanks for the tip!
What’s the multipurpose solution are you using for the rest of the toilet? That’s for sharing!
Thanks
Hi, will this eliminate the need for toilet cleaners / stain remover? The cleaners with the angled bottle heads.
Thanks for the info!
Great job! Thanks for sharing your cleaing tip and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it!
Just wondering why there is a hole in the bottom of the storage container. I thought I was doing something wrong.. Anyone know why that hole is there?
Good question. I think is to prevent moisture build up or dampness in the storage container.
@@AskAngelaBrown that was my thought too.. Just not sure.
Can the pad fall off and clog your toilet?
It’s not supposed to. Just make sure you have it correctly attached. 👍
I like the Clorox cleaning system except for the scrubbie comes part way off when I clean deep down in the hole
You do have to be careful.
Very informative review! I’m definitely gonna check it out. As some one with cats, they’re always trying to mess with my toilet brush😅
The wands been in the toilet how's that clean??
@@Need2knowtoo I would try it but carry backup products. Good ole Comet works good on the extremely nasty toilets.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on the video and product. 👍
Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
Does the wand clean iron residue water stains from the toilet bowl? (We live in a area that has high iron content in the water).
No. You will need a strong acid for that. Iron stains we consider deep cleaning and the toilet wand we would only use for maintenance cleaning. For iron in toilets have you tried Iron Out? amzn.to/3pzZ2L2 They have toilet tablets that dissolve it on a regular basis.
I just bought this. I like it better than the one you have at the house. I like to have this instead of the other kind. This is an awesome product.
Thanks for your feedback and thank you for watching the video.🙂
I have the same exact type of product but it’s by Scotch-Brite. It’s a disposable toilet wand that is shaped slightly different. I think it does the same thing, in case anyone is wondering if there’s a difference. Although I haven’t tried the Clorox brand. I believe they are basically the same thing though.
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Angela. I use these in one of my customers bathrooms. I think they work very well.

My first time using it. Love it.
I’m so glad you like the Clorox Toilet Wand! 👍
I have used these for a couple years and recently bought refills that fall apart , but the last ones I bought were okay
Thanks for sharing! It's a shame to find out that certain things are no longer being made the same way.
Thank you for your videos. Ive noticed you always leave the toilet open. Is that the professional clue that its been cleaned?
It depends, some like to leave it open and others closed. If the seat is usually left down, it makes sense to leave it open, so that it is known that it has been cleaned. Thanks for watching.
I've had trouble with the pads falling off into the toilet. No fun fishing them out with the wand.
Not fun at all. Defeats the whole purpose. ;-)
My house is old when we buy it . It's HARD BLACK under the ring . I have to stand ony head to see it. Help it will not come off!!! What can I use!
Hi Marilyn are you talking about a black ring under the toilet rim? Please don't stand on your head in the bathroom - it may not be as sanitary as you think. :-)
Yes MA'MA RIME .
Okay I want. Thanks for helping me!!
How do I get it out?
Thank you
I will start using this-can't put a price on an easy cleaning system- thanks angela!
+Frankie A Awesome. Let me know how it works out for you I’m eager to hear your feedback. Thanks for stopping by. 👍

do you have the owners buy the wand or you use it at your company?
@@bkirstie09k
I try to get as many uses out of the brush heads as possible to save money and to not create so much garbage. I scrub my toilet almost everyday so I would say one brush head would last around a week, I literally use until it falls apart. I line a vase with a plastic bag so I can store the wet wand in it to reuse.
Thanks for the tip. :-)
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank You 😊
Gonna try this out this weekend!
Keep me posted, I want to hear what you think and if it will be a long-term solution for you. Thanks for watching. :-)
Thanks for sharing these tips : )
Is it safe for septic tanks.
According to the Clorox website, “Clorox cleaning products do not contain any ingredients that will harm your septic system when used as directed.”
www.clorox.com/clorox-faqs/
I love these things it’s what I use in my business. I’ve never had one that has went down the toilet. Not even once in seven years.
Good to know, thanks for sharing your input!
Thanks fr sharing this story. That is enough to give one pause.

Caution:
I wouldn’t leave this system out when guests are expected, or in an Airbnb. It plainly states on the box Do Not Flush. However, if you leave the system out, the box with user instructions won’t be present any longer. It might be easy to assume the brush heads are flushable. Or, as is often the case, people don’t bother reading instructions. Don’t take that chance!
I love this product. It gets under the toilet rim much more efficiently than regular wands.
Yay! I'm so glad you like it. Thanks for sharing.
Best review ever.
Thank you so much for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
Just last week I saw the coolest concept for a toilet bowl cleaner my answer - "Nope." :-(
Make sure you don't buy a knock-off fake product. I've never had that happen and the Clorox heads have always lasted as long as I needed them to.
@@jjbud3124 Perhaps? I purchased them from Walgreens.
Oh no, sorry to hear about your damaged floor. But thank you for taking the time to share your input and experience with the product. I appreciate it!
She said do not put them down the toilets!!! That’s common sense actually
I simply love your videos- thank you for making them!! Such inspiration! Today I used a zip it and took 21 years of hair out of my drains 😲
Awesome...thanks for watching! And omg...that's a lot of hair!
Excelent demonstration, I prefer to use to wipe the toilet seat instead to use the Clorox wand after you used it inside the toilet!!!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the tip. :-)
I use this in my bathrooms. they are a little expensive, so thanks about the coupon ideal.
You're welcome! And thank you for watching the video. 🙂
