Incredibly true. India has a very large population resulting in many scammers, one temporarily being unactive is useless. I don’t have any inside knowledge, but I imagine a scam ring as being very intricate. They are constantly switching the person you are talking to on the phone, and also whenever you call them they don’t put you on hold but immediately attend to you. That is an obvious indication that they have many people available and it wouldn’t prevent anybody from getting scammed if you wasted their time. In result, whoever is wasting the scammers time is wasting their own time if that is their goal. You watch their videos thinking they are doing gods work when they are litteraly doing nothing useful or productive and you are causing them to get paid. Me? I watch because it’s entertaining and sometimes funny, I don’t care who is being productive or whos time is getting wasted (and often with adblocker anyway). It’s painful how ignorant you are if you think wasting scammers time has any meaningful value or purpose.
@@techmedia1360 What kind of backwards logic are you using here? We're all very much aware that there's a shit ton of scammers, nobody is denying that. Even then, do you not understand that if you spend just an hour baiting a scammer, that's still an hour that he wasted when he could've been scamming an actual victim? If he's talking to you, he *is* wasting his time and he is using a computer, that could be used to scam someone else, for essentially no profit. Sure, in the grand scheme of things, it probably doesn't make a big difference to the scammers but it could still count toward at least one person being spared overall.
Even if this was completely useless, that's not all he does though, is it? He locks their computer and deletes their data, which includes the information and phone numbers of victims, some of who may not have been successfully scammed yet. Sometimes, he even calls the numbers of the victims to notify them of the scam and spare them from falling for it again. Even if only one person has been saved from this, that still matters.
I've never had someone so wrong be so condescending toward me.

I been binge watching this dude & Mr Jim Browning for over a week now. All of a sudden I get a scan phone call saying I'm being arrested for fraud unless I press 1, safe to say I owe this guy everything. I also want this ringtone.

@itzamia no it was regarding an exam form, I was filling my exam form but I was not able to submit it as it was getting cancelled during the time of payment. I emailed the centre and then I got a call and they asked me to fill the form again, I did it and then they confirmed that I did it and asked me to make the payment and I got a message from the bank to make the payment regarding my OTP just like u get OTP while shopping on Amazon or purchasing things online. It was exactly like my bank message so I submitted the OTP and suddenly a large amount of money was deducted from my account. After that I received actual OTP from my bank . Then I realised that the first OTP was a fraud one and was the exact copy of my bank OTP format to fool me. I called that number again to tell them what happened and they said sorry it would have happened by mistake so if I will tell them my account details they will refund the money . I told them go to hell and they started laughing among themselves. I blocked my Debit card and online banking to prevent future transactions. When I called the customer care of that website regarding the fraud of the exam form they said that sir we never called u. I even told them that as soon as I emailed u within 2 minutes I got a call . They said sir we never called u and ur email is to be examined by our team and then we would have replied back in email not by calling you. Later I tried to file complaint against them but nothing happened.
@derick k bro I replied below what was the scam. Every scam is not about buying an xbox or gift card. It was my exam form that led me to online fraud and I never knew that filling an exam form will do this to me .

My dad got a call from "the litigation department", saying they're suing him for $6000. I got their number and called, playing the part of my dad's attorney. Long story short, they deleted their number.

Apparently calling them a "thief" is far more insulting than calling them a scammer. Called a guy a scammer and he laughed, then i said he was basically a thief and he got super irritated and said don't call me a thief.
It also hurts them when you mention karma and how their parents are ashamed of them.
For future reference, "chura lenevaala" is Hindi for thief and yes, they hate it when you call them that, especially the female ones.
