  • FAO Emergency and Resilience Program in Venezuela integrates the social, technical-productive and financial dimensions to guarantee access to food for the most vulnerable families.
This is possible through the rehabilitation or creation of sustainable livelihoods to reduce protection risks for women and their families, integrating training in agricultural and non-agricultural trades with the creation of community savings and credit organizations to promote income-generating activities, adapted to each context to increase the food and nutritional security of families.
The Community Productive Zones are an important component of the projects, to provide food support to the elderly and people with disabilities who are unable to engage in productive activities.
FAO remains committed to working with the communities and people who need it most for a world without hunger and a fairer world for all.
