If you use a bucket for a seat…you need a “Poe-made Bucket Back!” I’ll have to make video sometime of all of the inventions that one of my paddling buddies has come up with…i’ve tried to get him to patent them and use the money to pay for more trips! LOL!
What a great trip. Much better then the trip with the flood and crazy water levels. I would love to do something like that. So what the story about you ending up in the water ?
It was wayyyy better than the flood year lol!!! So the story of that was, I hadn’t kayaked in 2 years and was really rusty lol. I misjudged a run with a stump sticking up and it pulled my back end into it and flipped me lol.
No more pour down's lmao. You mean no more down pours , waking up can be rough sometimes. Hey love the videos and scenery . Planning on checking it out myself this year. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.
I'm curious what outfitters you used. I am trying to get a trip together here in the next couple weeks and the major hang up is the shuttle service. You said the outfitters were delivering you vics. I would like to use that as well if I am understanding you correctly.
@@TheBeardedBurton thanks for the response. Did they pick you up in there shuttles and return you to your vehicles at the launch or bring your vehicles to you?
Really great video! Going to try to do 3 day trip next month. Hope the water levels cooperate. So, now that you've check this off your bucket list, what's next?
hello from the wet Ozarks!! congrads on your complete trip!! you have a description or distance between each campsite or better places to camp? cheers! thanks!
Thank you! It’s one of my favorite places to go!! So we averaged about 20-25 miles a day and just camped wherever was best for 4 tents. I’m sure we could’ve used the GPS better for future trips but we really enjoy the mystery and picking new spots each year
Thanks for watching! We use the BOC- Buffalo Outdoor Center In Ponca AR to handle driving our vehicles to the desired take out location. Everything is our own personal gear.
what time of year was this trip taken, would you recommend this time of year or would you change it up if you did it again? You mentioned that you did like 25 miles a day, is that about what you have to average to get the 130 miles? TIA love the video
We did it towards the end of April beginning of May. And yes if you want to get the trip done in the time frame we had which was 6 days max. We were at our last camp for the trip by day 4 and had to stay at camp day 5 because we did not have cell crevice to have our vehicles dropped off early. And yes Shipps Ferry Landing in Norfolk AR is actually further down from the intersection of the Buffalo. Close to 10 miles I believe
@@TheBeardedBurton awesome, really want to do one of these trips thank you! Also I will be heading to texas survival school the following weekend after watching one of your videos.

@@TheBeardedBurton damn! lol well I guess I should have done more research , they wont refund my money so I will keep these in mind for the next time I take classes. thanks a bunch for the info
Ive only been able to get friends to commit top 3 days at the most. If you guys are ever in search of another yaker, contact me please. What time of year did you guys go this trip?
Thanks for watching! We averaged at least 20-25 miles a day. Had a couple days we did 30+ We were fortunate cause the water was flowing about 4.2mph just floating lol
I don't know where Buffalo River is I think is in America you don't have to put a flag there if there is a place for a flag you should be an Indian flag
Buffalo River is in Arkansas, USA. The reason he places the flag there is because it’s a tradition for him to bring it on every big trip and fly it one night. He summits the Rockies and all kinds of big things and does it every time. American proud, USA!
Love the Stars n Stripes flying at the campsite..
Thanks!
Cool video man. I enjoyed the trip. Thanks for taking us along.

I have a few videos from the years prior uploaded! Thanks for watching

Yes we used Buffalo Outdoor Center in Ponca. They drive from their all the way to where we finished at shippers on White River
@@TheBeardedBurton thanks for the response. Did they pick you up in there shuttles and return you to your vehicles at the launch or bring your vehicles to you?
They drive your vehicles to you, as long as you agree to it
Beautiful river. It is on my list to do. Are there any rapids along the Buffalo.
Yes many, when it rains the day before there are areas it can be close to class 3 rapids

Thank you for watching, it was an incredible trip!! I hope it works out for you too.
You know, I’ve got some stuff in the works lol
What company did you use to shuttle your vehicle? How did they do it? and how much was it?
We always use the BOC in Ponca AR. Buffalo Outdoor Center.
