Don't get me wrong, the comedy of the crash isn't lost on me. However the real gold in my opinion is the affection PeeWee has won and the bond that was created with these men he just met. Kindred spirits.....brothers, confirmed with the line "I hope you find your bike, man." Call me silly, stupid or overly-sentimenal but this line always brings me to tears.
"thanks a lot dudes" while thinking he can ride a motorcycle 🤣 What cracks me up more than anything is when he takes off and craches into the sign in about 4 seconds 😂
I kinda wish you kept the whole scene: the bikers accompanying the ambulance is priceless. thx for posting tho. I watch this when I just need a simple laugh.
This was one of my favorite scenes along with the Tequila bar dance. You couldn't tell me he wasnt going to drive off into the sunset. But, when his body and bike went in different directions, i lost it🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the years of laughter PWH, rest in peace 🙏🏻
for some freaking reason i thought about this scene at work today out of nowhere.. i youtube'd it and sure enough its here lol. such a funny scene, i love this shit
Every time I think of Paul Reubens and/or Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, I have to come and watch this scene. I laugh like an idiot each time. What a damn treasure.
Me and my mom used to watch this years ago and I randomly thought about this movie a few days ago. We watched this exact video last night and then the news breaks out today that he passed. Crazy. R.I.P
This whole movie was comedy gold, I believe it was written in part by Phil Hartman so it's no wonder it was so funny that guy was a legend, every Saturday Night live skit he did was funny
Came here as soon as I heard the news. You were my moms favorite (passed away in 2020), and this movie became one of my favorites as a kid. Rest In Peace, this movie and this scene I’ll always laugh at!
*Pee Wee is rolling with Large Marge on the big highway in the sky (Heaven)* R.I.P. *Pee Wee Herman /Paul Rubens* *Hope you find your bike, Brother* ! *God Be With You, Always* . ~ *One of millions of your fans* ~
I would have asked who's bright idea was it to give Pee-wee a motorcycle, but then I take into consideration that they have all been heavily drinking, so rational thinking was not exactly the flavor of the month.
Anyone notice when he plowed through the sign he took the “p” and “c” out and it spells “Ache Bar”? Paul Reubens we watched this in your honor and it still makes me laugh to this day. Rest In Peace. 🙏👼
You will see this same group of actors, in-character, in the episode "Guys and Dolls" of Married With Children. There's a scene with Al and Steve walking around dowtown Chicago, and this same biker gang, again uncredited, makes a small cameo
At least two of them (the dude with the glasses and the big biker with the long beard) appeared in the opening scene of Clint Eastwood's "Heartbreak Ridge", watching Clint beat up a guy in the drunk tank. The dude with the glasses is named Chester Grimes.
One of my buddies literally did this his first time riding a Harley and he’s never seen this movie but he did exactly what he did taking off but down a driveway and fell off turning onto the road 😂 I had to show him this
Saw this in the movies when it first came out(guess that dates me a bit), I laughed so hard at this scene and still do so many years later..back then movie theaters used to hold "midnight madness" where you could see all kinds cult classics all starting at midnight(Rocky Horror, Dawn of the Dead, The Wall, etc.)..fun times, started running this one and had to go again of course..bit of trivia, biker chick who says "let me have him first" was actress who played "Elvira, Mistress of the dark"
@handymandan100 It's a piece of the sign, not a dummy. I used to think the same thing until I got the dvd with commentary. If you watch it a few times you'll see it's the piece of the sign going sideways
the sound of the impact when he hits the billboard and then the silence afterwards gets me everytime.
I know. It's hilarious 🤣
Such an amazing movie and its own right😂😅🎉
Same here. One of my fav moments from the film
The tumbleweed pinwheel.
😭💀
rip peewee… this clip would make me laugh so hard
God damn this part has cracked me up for over 2 decades. lmao
Same!!!!! 30 seconds of comedy gold and it never gets old 🤣🤣🤣
@@thetruth1.613 3 decades for me. Ruebens is a comic genius. Between The tequila dancing scene to him crashing his bike.
Damn. This shit is still funny!🤣🤣🤣
Same here! 😆😆😆
Movie was waaaaaaay ahead of its time. Classics never die.
I liked how serious he looked before he drove off.
His body when he crashed
😆😆😭😆😭😭😭😆😂😂😂
Lmao ikr

I think that's the magic of PW in a nutshell- the goofy child in everyone who wins the day and stays true to himself.
One of the funniest scenes ever filmed. RIP Paul Ruebens.
The way the dummy is thrown out to the left has always cracked me up!!
Rest in peace, Pee-wee. Thank you for the childhood joy.
RIP Pee Wee and thank you for the happiness you provided me as a young kid in the 90's
me, after watching a 7 season binge of Sons of Anarchy on Netflix
Lmao
Lmao
Lmao
LOL!!
Whoever threw that dummy at 0:27, perfect timing
Just had to watch this since he passed just yesterday.. THANKS FOR LAUGH
Today! 😅
The best part: the bikers going to the hospital with him. Riding along with the ambulance. Awesome.
The way he starts the motorcycle is funny. He was so serious too lol.
"thanks a lot dudes" while thinking he can ride a motorcycle 🤣 What cracks me up more than anything is when he takes off and craches into the sign in about 4 seconds 😂
If you’re feeling sad about the passing of Paul Reubens just watch this on repeat a few times. 😂 RIP Legend ❤
I kinda wish you kept the whole scene: the bikers accompanying the ambulance is priceless. thx for posting tho. I watch this when I just need a simple laugh.
yea, that definaely was the part that got me cracking up
This was one of my favorite scenes along with the Tequila bar dance.
The way he comes out of the bar laughing and then how serious he looks when hes about to start riding kills me everytime 😂
Screw it, in my mind this is how Paul Reubens went out. Blaze of post Tequila glory.
after he destroys the sign you see him rolling off to the left, i split my pants..
greatest scene in all of cinema
Every time I think of Paul Reubens and/or Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, I have to come and watch this scene. I laugh like an idiot each time. What a damn treasure.
The way he rolls off the bike😂🤣
Pee Wee being a badass until he crashes though. The sign with him and the bike. Going in complete opposite directions will forever be classic. 😂
RIP funny man, thanks for the countless laughs.
Me and my mom used to watch this years ago and I randomly thought about this movie a few days ago. We watched this exact video last night and then the news breaks out today that he passed. Crazy. R.I.P
I can watch this scene over and over and laugh as hard as I did when I was 13. Brilliant!!
So funny. When it cuts to the ambulance part was also funny
Rip Paul. Thanks for the memories 💐
RIP Paul Reubens (August 27, 1952 - July 30, 2023), aged 70
You will be remembered as a legend.
This whole movie was comedy gold, I believe it was written in part by Phil Hartman so it's no wonder it was so funny that guy was a legend, every Saturday Night live skit he did was funny
This part has made me laugh consistently since I was 12 years old. I am now 33.
Same..im 35.lol
same I was like 7-8 now I’m 25 haha never gets old
You’re 44 now
so you're 44 now and your laughing for 32 years ! wow
I'm 67 now and still laugh out loud at this scene !
They cut out the best part. The ambulance scene right after 🤣🤣🤣
Came here as soon as I heard the news. You were my moms favorite (passed away in 2020), and this movie became one of my favorites as a kid. Rest In Peace, this movie and this scene I’ll always laugh at!
One of THE funniest films ever made.
My Dad always laughed at this part!😂😂😂

It's the dummy toppling head over heels into the bushes for me... straight up 3 stooges style! 😄
0:27 RIP Paul Reubens. Thank you for giving the world Pee-Wee Herman.
Legendary.
*Pee Wee is rolling with Large Marge on the big highway in the sky (Heaven)*

best scene!
Lmfao. I'm 35, and every time I see this wipeout it's brand new again.lol
The handshake! Haha
Revisiting this because Paul Reuben’s death was announced. This was always my favorite scene in the movie
The cheers when it starts on the first attempt. :D Probably my favorite scene in the film, lol.
Ride on Pee Wee........
The build up and anticipation after he knocks the bikes over, befriends them after his iconic dance, then crashes the bike immediately! 🤣🤣🤣
This is so funny. I rewatched this recently and I was cracking up.
This is me leaving the Harley dealer.
the bikers escorting the ambulance right after this is funny also.
Rip Paul Reuben. Died today.
F'ing brilliant. Rest easy Paul, thanks for the laughs.
Thanks for the laughs Pee-Wee 😢
RIP Paul You’ll be missed 😢
I've just seen this for the first time and haven't laughed out loud so much for years!
literally the best scene in cinema history.
Pee Wee flops off that bike and I LOSE IT!!!
I’m 42 years old and I still piss myself every time I see it
And here they all probably think he's looking for his... Bike.... Not a bicycle
I would have asked who's bright idea was it to give Pee-wee a motorcycle, but then I take into consideration that they have all been heavily drinking, so rational thinking was not exactly the flavor of the month.
R.I.P. Paul Reubens Aka Pee-Wee Herman (1952 - 2023)!
I like how the biker sends him off right before the wreck
Anyone notice when he plowed through the sign he took the “p” and “c” out and it spells “Ache Bar”?
Paul Reubens we watched this in your honor and it still makes me laugh to this day. Rest In Peace. 🙏👼
You will be missed Paul!!❤❤
I took a motorcycle riding course and sent this to everyone in the class. I just knew this was gonna be me during the test. Luckily I passed! Lol
My friend crashed on his test. Hit front brake going idle speed and went face forward into asphalt.
Rest in Peace Pee Wee Hereman. :(
Rip Mr Herman
The way he flipped after crashing through the billboard 🤣😂
Pee Wee made friends with just about everyone. 😊
this has to be the funniest scene i have ever seen...
I like how they actually cared for him after the Tequila. They even called the ambulance for him after the crash.
You will see this same group of actors, in-character, in the episode "Guys and Dolls" of Married With Children. There's a scene with Al and Steve walking around dowtown Chicago, and this same biker gang, again uncredited, makes a small cameo

GOAT level comedy.
Man...everytime feels like I'm in the theater in the 80's..
The way PW tumbles off the bike. 🤣🤣
One of the best scenes ever!!! 🤣🤣🤣. RIP, PEE WEE!!!
Super Funny!! ..dude on left at :22 like, "smooth sailin" haha.
@handymandan100 It's a piece of the sign, not a dummy. I used to think the same thing until I got the dvd with commentary. If you watch it a few times you'll see it's the piece of the sign going sideways
Didnt know it was so easy to get patched in to a MC
Elvira as the biker mama.
First spit take of my life at 7 years old , classic
The way he's head swings when he starts the engine...
It's the sound makes when he hits it for me.
the best scene ever, genius, always makes me laugh
Was teaching my niece how to ride a dirt bike, first thing I did was show her this video, and she learned well as she didn’t hit any signs
RIP Paul. I hope you really do find your bike up there man. Funniest shit ever.
Yep. This scene still makes me laugh.

Burton said it was filmed somewhere near Cal Arts, where he went to school.
*I MEANT TO DO THAT*
I used to laugh at this so hard as a child
I love how they just whip a dummy out the back of the sign! Fake, but hilarious!
