Fun fact about Scanlan throwing Percy's gun into the acid based on a hunch: It played out pretty much exactly like that in the actual game. Scanlan took the gun away, and to pretty much everyone's protests, destroyed the gun. Matt Mercer, the DM, was like, "Shit, I didn't expect that. Yeah, Orthax was attached to the gun. Damnit, Sam." Nobody actually expected it to work.
@@Starsaber222 I love that during the watch through stream where the cast was watching each episode of this show, Taliesin looked over at Sam and said "I *still* haven't forgiven you for that". The reason being is that gun in game was *SUPER* expensive. It isn't brought up in the show for simplicity sake but two of the six barrels on the gun in game had magical enchantments on it. Shots fired from those barrels did magical damage instead of normal, one doing fire and the other doing ice if I recall right. It costs a small fortune to enchant a weapon with a single enchantment. The List had *two* and Scanlan just threw it in acid on a whim. While Percy would build a new weapon, a 4 barreled gun called Retort (seen at the very end of this episode), none of those barrels had any enchantments and Percy would never again hit the high damage values with his pistol that he was doing with The List, he'd have to use Bad News or other magical items later on to reach those levels again.

Remember the orbs in Brimschyte's lair in episode 2? One of which became an eye and said "Intruder..." Turns out, Brimscythe was the junior partner in an alliance, and now the senior partners are coming to ask why he's not returning their calls anymore. ;) The healing magic Vax and Scanlan improvised with Keyleth's herbs and Scanlan's magic were not enough to restore Keyleth fully, but she's not longer on the brink of death. You'll notice she's talking and moving again, but not really fighting or casting spells.

I've been a Critter since nearly the beginning 10 years ago, and have helped back just about everything CR has done over the years, and watching you two experience these stories without any prior knowledge has been such a great way to re-live it. :) And you have NO IDEA how happy it makes me to hear the Crit Community has been good about not spoiling the experience for you! When I heard you were starting to get more aware of the D&D game and the evolution of all of this (#NoMercyPercy made me go UH OH) I honestly got a little sad that the rest of the fresh experience was going to be tainted for you (and vicariously for us!) I hope they can keep it up at least through LoVM S3! We seem to have very similar tastes in shows so I'll be sticking around for a while, keep up the fun, don't get burnt out. 👍

Critters are (mostly) very good at keeping spoilers away. We are very conscientious about the plot twists and the excitement that comes with them. We've lived that throughout the entire campaign - now we're excited to see others react to the same plot twists and surprises in the same way we did. It brings back the memories. We may occasionally point out details that would be easily missed by a casual viewer who isn't familiar with the finer nuances, such as Silas's missing reflection in the mirror in Ep. 2, or a "Matt" NPC making an appearance in every episode. We may prompt you to take good note of a seemingly unimportant detail, but we will never.. ever spoil the story in advance. ;)
I like how you appreciate Scanlan. Most reactors seem to dislike him until season two. Season two is a wild ride. Looking forward to your reactions for that!
@@danielnelson5601 He had plenty of cringe moments that were uncomfortable. I love him, but being the best character? That’s entirely personal choice, I place Percy and Grog way above him. @@MeeshDeeReactsseason 3 will also be coming out soon too. You guys picked a great time to get into Critical Role. They also have another show in the works thats based off of their 2nd campaign
people who say like keyleth looks up to vex like a sister, there’s nothing there . make my eye twitch. like marisha hasn’t literally said her relationship and idolization of vex at times was a bit of a “do i want to be you or do i want you”
This is what I meant with "shippers take any random line in an interview and run". Kiki was never into Vex period. Marisha made a joke about herself, specifically about herself and the opportunity of dating twins. Stop treating jokes, jokes that are just there to pander to a vocal portion of the audience, as iron canon rules.
"Thank God no one in the comments has been spoiling anything." - Dee, talking about ships. Maybe mark this comment as spoils, since they also mentioned needing mods. They clearly enjoy speculating on the relationships guys.
By the way, the spell that Delilah hit Keyleth with is called Finger of Death. If it manages to kill its target, the victim turns into a zombie under the control of the caster. Had Keyleth died there, Vox Machina would've had to kill her again as a zombie, which is another layer of fucked up. Necromancers are fun.
Percy took a lot longer to forgive Scanlan in the game, he was _furious_ for a long time. Mostly because it was a super special gun with magical effects. After having it destroyed, he wasn't able to do magical damage for pretty much the rest of the campaign, which in DnD is a big deal because most strong enemies take less damage if the attack isn't magical
pretty sure taliesin says he has never actually forgiven scanlan for that even if it was the right thing to do . percy saying thank you to scanlan about that is like my one criticism of the whole show lol
Glad you enjoyed Season 1! A lot of the Orthax fight in the livestream was even a surprise to Taliesin (Percy)! I think he said something like, "I really get to fight the demons in my head!"
Percy put his hand over the barrel, trying to keep Orthax from firing. That action, putting himself between Orthax and Delilah, spilling his own blood to spare her, was the ultimate expression of Percy letting go of his hate and vengeance. THAT is what drove the demon out. Forgiveness is for YOURSELF. Forgiving someone doesn't mean you somehow now think whatever they did is OK now (which is what A LOT of people seem to think it means), it just means you're letting it go. YOU aren't holding onto that hurt and anger anymore.
That moment in Critical Role where Scanlan tosses the gun was amazing. It was a bit different in the DnD game. Scanlan used a cantrip spell on Percy to Be Friends and it worked. He had to agree to hand over his gun, and the watch as Scanlan tossed it into the acid. Only for the demon to pop up. Inadvertently cutting off a potential future quest Matt Mercer had ready. Some of the best times in Critical Role has been how often the players completely subvert the DM’s plans. Seeing Matt Mercer both proud of the players but frustrated how much pre-game work he put in went up in smoke. Later brining out the detailed diorama model he had made for the battle field.
4:50 they dont explain it well in the show but Keylleth couldnt heal at first because there was a anti magic/healing auora. Once they got her out of that she was able to be healed
12:47 - _"I'm gonna walk away…"_ "…and I walk away" was practically Liam O'Brien's catchphrase at the table, when he described one of his characters' actions: "I do _X_ and _Y_ and _Z_ and then I walk away." His _other_ catchphrase, "Dagger, dagger, dagger" referring to his customary three dagger attacks per round, was referenced earlier in the series, when went over the weapon's display at Gilmore's: "Dagger… dagger… dagger… Wooden stake!" 13:15 - *“Oh!" - “Oh shit!”* In the campaign, that was almost Keyleth. She managed to succeed the saving throw, but if she had failed, Marisha would have needed to make a new character. They had no access to the 9th-level, end-game spell _True Resurrection_ nor the means to pay anyone else to perform it - let alone the 25.000 gold for material spell components. 17:23 - *“Another dragon!” - “A dragon!”* Bunch of dragons, casually rockin' up to Emon: "Oh, hey, you guys! Say, have you seen our junior partner around here somewhere? Little guy, blue, not very powerful? We sent him over on an errand for us, but we haven't heard from him in a while… so we just decided to pop over and _take care of it ourselves!"_ These guys are why all the Critters in the audience gasped in unison, when Keyleth spotted that multi-coloured dragon rug in General Krieg's hidden cellar. 😁
I am so glad the Critters have avoided spoilers for you! I am not surprised though, as Critters are perhaps the kindest community I have encountered in my years on the internet.
Man I love this show (and CR). This journey has been amazing, rewatching with you guys was amazing and I can't wait for season 2, I particularly love the first season and Percy's background story more, but season 2 is also awesome! Great reaction as always guys, loving to see it.
Keyleth and Percy have this cool friendship in the campaign since they're both leaders or part of a ruling family. It gets some more airtime in season 2 but so much happens it's hard to have everything
I obviously won't spoil any of the relationship stuff, but I think it's worth keeping in mind when watching any Critical Role content (Vox Machina and also the Mighty Nein show that's coming out next year) that basically any type or relationship is on the table. So if you think you're reading too much into how characters react when it comes to non-heteromormitive interactions, you probably aren't.
Pike was absent alot in that part of the campaign because Ashley was shooting Blindspot in New York. When she Astral projected, she was zooming in from New York. I loved how they managed to show her as absent. Showing they respected her and her acting gig.
Cassandra is very fast and a very good fencer. She deserved that kill. And you are the only people, I think, to notice that Percy actually didn`t forgive Delilah - but I also think the writers could have conveyed this better. Season 2 is *wild* wild. Prepare to cry! (Because good story always has a good drama)
yeah, iirc in terms of game mechanics Cassandra is a rogue or a rogue/dex based fighter multiclass, though Matt never gave her a full character sheet. Regardless, she's quite quick.
Yes it drives my up the wall when people say "The demon was defeated because Percy forgave Delilah 😊!!!" I know the writing wants to make it clear this is big milestone for Percy, enough to push him to the backseat for season 2, but its not the complete close on the chapter for and they could have indicated that with a bit more than just the :/ face he pulls at Cassandras words. "My sister thinks less of me because she believes I forgave our family's murderer" should evoke a stronger response.
@@hhylobates4098 Interesting. I didn't interpret that exchange the same way. I didn't think that Cassandra felt less of Percy, simply that she made a different choice in that moment -- the choice that was right for her, but wrong for him. (Since she didn't have a demon trying to take over her soul.). One thing I love about how Cassandra is written in the series is that you can never really read her intentions clearly.
@@easterslice Oh I don't actually think those are Cassandras feelings, but just that if Percy thinks they are -by the face he pulls obviously disagreeing with her words - then he would speak up. But they're keeping that unresolved issue back for season 3
A funny note - the hot dude scanlan hits on near the end is animated to look like Phil Bourassa, the well known animated character designer who travis ran into on a plane flight and pitched doing the Vod Machins designs to. He was totally down. There are just a ton of cool trivia bits behind this series
2:32 No, no don't be sorry Dee. It's fine. "Fuck you," is precisely the correct response (ideally followed up with a retaliatory right hook to their jaw) when a defeated villain spits blood in your face.😆
Theres a long running joke that states that D&D is just an excuse for bisexuals to flirt with their friends. CR is no exception, most of their characters, over all the campaigns are some level of pan. Having said that, the actual romantic entanglements go far deeper, as you'll soon see. Btw, I'm shivering with anticipation to see this channel react to the Mighty Nein. They're not ready.
I'll always love Percy's character, because of how imaginative the character was. Someone so fueled by revenge that a demon takes over his soul helps him invent the world's first gun. Imagine Lord of the Rings if one of the Fellowship had a gun instead of an axe or sword. Brilliant.
Thank you, ladies. This has been such an enjoyable way to revisit the series before season 3 comes out. (And yes, spoilers suck!) This is definitely one of my alltime favorite shows.
A minor detail that I don't recall being stated explicitly is that Percy is left handed, but Orthax prefers to use the right hand so you can tell who is in control by which hand he is shooting with.
Now you shall see the power of some actual elder dragons... :D One easy to miss detail with Percy is that when he's in demon mode, his pepperbox actually does not need any reloading at all. 19:31 I think this is a direct consequence of the fact that each character is actually played by someone at the table. Each one of them has their backstory and personality. It's not like in a regular show where they may just be meant to be a side character.
This. There's a clue to this when Percy killed Stonefell. The animators are *VERY* careful to make it so Percy can only fire six shots before reloading. Every time we see him fire normally he only does a few shots and if he does all six he takes a moment to reload. But with Stonefell Orthax took over and he fired *seven* shots. One to destroy his weapon, one to blow his arm off, the other five execution style.
What happened to the guy when he got near the spinning orb? That almost happened to Keyleth! She rolled a nat 20, which probably was needed to save her.
Episode 1 really did not give any hint on the depth of the storytelling this season would encompass. I really do love this show. Glad you enjoyed it, and fell into the relationships of the characters. Frankly, we've been spoiled by animation in recent years with Arcana, Vox Machina, and Invincible, among so many others. ✌️
Regarding his "deal" with Orthax.... Talisan handed his backstory to Matt. It had NOTHING about Orthax in there. He said he dreamt it up and wanted revenge. Gave basic information about the Briarwoods and what happened to his family. Matt came up with the rest...ie: Sylas was Vampire, Cassandra was alive, and that the The List (name of Percy's gun) was due to a contract/deal made by Percy and Orthax in his dreams or something like that. Percy (and Talisan) had no prior knowledge of this. So the first time the smoke started to come off of his, he was as surprised as the rest of the players.
I can't wait for everyone new to critical role who is loving vox machina to watch the mighty nein when it comes out. The OG critters are pretty split over which story/campaign/group of heroes they like most. This show is from their first game. But personally I enjoyed their second game much much more. They are currently working on the mighty nein show. There is a single animated scene they showed us as a sneak peak. The second game was just it for me in every way. Yall are going to LOVE those characters so much. It's all the same cast just new characters in the same world that this show takes place in.
14:01 Yeah, you saw what you saw. Kiki has a bit of a thing for Vex while Vax has a lot of a thing for Gilmore. Don't expect drama or fighting about it. The cast is known for flirting with each other in and out of game, so it's all good. (the cast has been accused of being in one big poly-cule since 2015)
I feel like (and this isn't spoilery, just my read of what we see in season 1) Keyleth could conceivably have connected with Percy, Vex, or Vax. There's an emotional link with Percy, and some clear chemistry with Vex AND Vax... but at core, her assessment is that she's not ready to connect with ANYONE that way, and that kind of stalls the whole prospect. There's a reason the Poly Machina headcanon is so prominent. Regardless of what actually canonically pans out, almost every conceivable ship gets teased at least once.
As a longtime Critter, I do think this community is one of the best at not spoiling things. Everyone will share additional info that doesn't spoil anything, but nobody wants to ruin someone's first time experiencing the series. Tbf anyone that watched the campaign knew what would happen before the animated series even came out, so I think we're all just more excited to see what new people think of it. Excited to see your reactions to season 2, and then we can all enjoy season 3 together when it releases. Less than a month!
It is what the viewer wants to read into it. The sharing of Art is a process that includes the interpretation by the person consuming it. Some people want to get into exactly what D&D(TM) spell or class is being portrayed in a piece of animation that deliberately leaves those details out. That's cool for them. I very much enjoy entertaining various reasons for a given energy between characters. That's my jam.
I’d never normally suggest this but you two might want to look into some SEO (search engine optimization) techniques to get your videos to show up more often. Every time I search ‘legend of vox machina reaction’ I struggle to find your vids, even brand new ones. They’re just not vibing with the algorithms, maybe missing keywords or smth. Anyway great reaction, hope you enjoy season 2 (and 3 very soon) just as much.
Critter's LOVE to watch your reaction as we know what is about happen! And we wouldn't want to ever spoil anything for you! I'm so glad you guys are becoming Critters too!
Not sure if you're interested, but Critical Role released 6 short clips on the making of Vox Machina season 1. I think you'd really enjoy them. The first season was funded by th Critters in one day. The cast had these created as status updates before the series was released, but they give a really good idea of how much love and talent is squeezed in each episode. I go back and watch them every time I do a season 1 rewatch. ruclips.net/p/PL1tiwbzkOjQwJdoNetaNJE1zZVOE7xi8u&si=74NKdRdVjpI51uV7
Since ur caught up on the later seasons now, i just wanted to touch on the romance cirkle theory . . . . AS A LESBIAN 😂😂 i rly did think Keyleth was gay watching the campaign, so ur not alone. And that blush at the end of s1 was So Much 😂😂
Alls I'll say is that Critters are a ship happy bunch. You potentially shipping characters that don't have that kind of relationship just means that you're in good company.
@@user-jt1js5mr3f I'm thinking the animated show should be able to rework her just enough to be much better while staying true to the character, since a lot of it was due to the players absence.
I'll glad that y'all loved season 1, it's literally just the prequel to the real story, like The Hobbit to Lord of the Rings. You should have seen what happened in the live show, as the cast didnt have any idea of what happened. But I'd be glad to moderate the Vox Machina/DnD info.
We ready for S2! HEY we appreciate it :) We would love for you to be apart of our community. Is there anyway you can shoot us a DM in Patreon or Instagram?
"what a good end to the first season"... wait for it... I love that Vax is such an antithesis of toxic masculinity - boosting his friends, understanding when the one he's confessed his love to isn't ready to return those feelings, and still being the first to run through the portal of her untried spell.
It drives me crazy that everyone takes a blush from Keyleth as “she likes Vex”. People blush in real life when given praise all the time, especially from someone they wanted approval from. Not everything is sexual/romantic.
Fun fact about this world: demons and devils are considered separate entities, and they hate each other! Devils make deals that you know about and sign contracts for. Devils just show up and take what they want, tricking people. Percy had a demon in him. :D
There apparently was an instance many years ago where the CR cast basically confirmed that all of VM (with the possible exception of Grog) were bisexual. At various instances in the campaign there were vibes (some more subtle than others) between various members of Vox Machina. I'm sure there possibly were some Percy/Kiki shippers, but the relationship between them was always very much platonic 'best friends' in Campaign 1. PikeLan and VaxLeth are the two most readily identifiable C1 'ships, but even Vax's declaration to Kiki came as a surprise to most everyone...especially Marisha (Keyleth), who just did not have a clue prior...although Laura (Vex) apparently picked up on it right away, much like her character did. For much of the early campaign the VaxMore 'ship was considered solid, but Liam realized that Vax had a thing for Kiki and pursued that instead. As for Vex and Keyleth...Kiki always idolized Vex for a multitude of reasons...and Vex has always been (canonically, per Laura Bailey) *very hot*. With the obvious exception of her brother, nearly all of VM had vibes with her at some point. No spoilers, but there's a moment at a tavern in one of my favorite later episodes of the campaign, where all the cast does this running joke of their characters, in various states of inebriation during the night, discussing just how smart & cool Vex is.
Yeah, I think Critters are so good at not spoiling things because we all have been the spoiler of things for our friends and DnD players and we all teach new Critters not to do it, either. And YES, GOOD. Y'all also see the Vexleth thing.

"19 MISSES!?"
@@mackadam5894 "In this session of Critical Role, the city of Emon experiences a substantial political shift."
One of the things I love about Matt is his willingness to let go. So many DMs have trouble with this.
Taliesin Jaffe deserves a frickin' Emmy for this season, so good! Great reaction, looking forward to season 2 and onward!
At 14:00 the pause is so real. Too funny! There’s an ongoing joke that Vox Machina is like a huge couple bc most of them flirt with each other at some point
Remember the orbs in Brimschyte's lair in episode 2?
One of which became an eye and said "Intruder..."
Turns out, Brimscythe was the junior partner in an alliance, and now the senior partners are coming to ask why he's not returning their calls anymore. ;)
The healing magic Vax and Scanlan improvised with Keyleth's herbs and Scanlan's magic were not enough to restore Keyleth fully, but she's not longer on the brink of death.
You'll notice she's talking and moving again, but not really fighting or casting spells.
Also the carpet in his house with the 5 dragon heads. Blue (lightning - Brimsythe), Red, White, Black, and Green.
You two are so fun. Can't wait for more.

So excited for y’all to get into s2, it only gets even better🔥🙌🏽
We are so ready!! 😍
It’s absolutely gets better!
it's been such a joy watching your reactions to tlovm so far !!! as a critter myself, it's been honestly so refreshing and nice to see y'all being so open to the story and characters and just having fun with all of it 💜
can't wait for S2 and (hopefully) future reactions to their 2nd show that's coming soon based on their 2nd campaign "The Mighty Nein" !
We’ve been having so much fun watching and learning more about D&D 🤩 the critter community is the best!! 💘🥹
Hey there!! Thanks so much for your support and dropping in this sweet comment 🥹 we love watching and learning more about the D&D universe and getting to connect with the Critter Community! Can’t wait to dive into more content together 🥰
Looking forward to your reactions for that!
to be fair, he's a lot, and he was worse in the first half of the campaign. To dislike him is valid.
lol we love Scanlan!! 😂🫶🏼
Nah homie, Scanlan been the best character since episode 3 of the actual live campaign. Anybody got a problem with him it’s a total square
@@danielnelson5601 He had plenty of cringe moments that were uncomfortable. I love him, but being the best character? That’s entirely personal choice, I place Percy and Grog way above him. Having an issue has absolutely nothing with being a square, but you’re an asshole, so I wouldn’t expect you to understand
As a fellow Scanlan appreciater I am glad to read this. He cares a lot about his friends and team and I hope we'll get to see more of that.
Great reaction can't wait for y'all reaction for season two. Vex hit Kiki with the Miles morales hand on the shoulder and "Hey.." No one could resist that.😂

@@MeeshDeeReactsseason 3 will also be coming out soon too. You guys picked a great time to get into Critical Role. They also have another show in the works thats based off of their 2nd campaign
people who say like keyleth looks up to vex like a sister, there’s nothing there . make my eye twitch. like marisha hasn’t literally said her relationship and idolization of vex at times was a bit of a “do i want to be you or do i want you”
i remember she said that Keyleth lived in perpetual bi panic due to the twins
This is what I meant with "shippers take any random line in an interview and run".
Kiki was never into Vex period.
Marisha made a joke about herself, specifically about herself and the opportunity of dating twins.
Stop treating jokes, jokes that are just there to pander to a vocal portion of the audience, as iron canon rules.
ive been thinking of the original campaigns "i love you" "do you think youre talking to my brother" "i know who im talking to" for years
@@BaronesaReturns Just have them share her. lol
@@another_julia well we don't know how honest that "thank you" was

Yeah, Scanlan tossing the gun is right up their with, "Would you share this Blueberry cupcake with me?" Matt had to do a quick reboot on that one.
2:34 ONE! OF! US! ONE! OF! US!
4:50 they dont explain it well in the show but Keylleth couldnt heal at first because there was a anti magic/healing auora. Once they got her out of that she was able to be healed
Glad you're loving the journey so far! I'm excited to see what comparison clips your editor picks out.
Proud of you for the no spoilers, Critters 🫶🏻. Cannot wait for y’all to react to season 2!
12:47 - _"I'm gonna walk away…"_
"…and I walk away" was practically Liam O'Brien's catchphrase at the table, when he described one of his characters' actions: "I do _X_ and _Y_ and _Z_ and then I walk away." His _other_ catchphrase, "Dagger, dagger, dagger" referring to his customary three dagger attacks per round, was referenced earlier in the series, when went over the weapon's display at Gilmore's: "Dagger… dagger… dagger… Wooden stake!"
13:15 - *“Oh!" - “Oh shit!”*
In the campaign, that was almost Keyleth. She managed to succeed the saving throw, but if she had failed, Marisha would have needed to make a new character. They had no access to the 9th-level, end-game spell _True Resurrection_ nor the means to pay anyone else to perform it - let alone the 25.000 gold for material spell components.
17:23 - *“Another dragon!” - “A dragon!”*
Bunch of dragons, casually rockin' up to Emon: "Oh, hey, you guys! Say, have you seen our junior partner around here somewhere? Little guy, blue, not very powerful? We sent him over on an errand for us, but we haven't heard from him in a while… so we just decided to pop over and _take care of it ourselves!"_
These guys are why all the Critters in the audience gasped in unison, when Keyleth spotted that multi-coloured dragon rug in General Krieg's hidden cellar.
Ah, the finale! The story comes to a close, and no more cliffhang-
S2 EP1 is nuts!!! can't wait for your reviews.
I can’t wait for you both to get into season 2 it’s so good!!!!
Yes it drives my up the wall when people say "The demon was defeated because Percy forgave Delilah 😊!!!"
I know the writing wants to make it clear this is big milestone for Percy, enough to push him to the backseat for season 2, but its not the complete close on the chapter for and they could have indicated that with a bit more than just the :/ face he pulls at Cassandras words.
2:34 That was personal.
😂😂😂
My ribs hurt 🤣
2:32 No, no don't be sorry Dee. It's fine. "Fuck you," is precisely the correct response (ideally followed up with a retaliatory right hook to their jaw) when a defeated villain spits blood in your face.😆
😂😂
Theres a long running joke that states that D&D is just an excuse for bisexuals to flirt with their friends.
CR is no exception, most of their characters, over all the campaigns are some level of pan. Having said that, the actual romantic entanglements go far deeper, as you'll soon see.
Btw, I'm shivering with anticipation to see this channel react to the Mighty Nein. They're not ready.
yeah, I feel like they'll like M9 more. For me, no question VM is better.
Yeah I really hated that the did that moment of baiting with Vex and Keyleth.
It was just so like...pointless.
@@sandpiperr pointless and confusing
Lol. M9 is nine times hornier than VM.
Great reactions guys :) The Legend of Vox Machina is one of the best fantasy series of recent years. And it's getting even better with season two.
Regarding Keyleth blushing over Vex'ahlia... Poly Machina is a long running joke in the fandom.... Or is it? ;)
Thank you so so much for the support!! 🥹💘
Poly Machina is on point 😂😂
Now you shall see the power of some actual elder dragons... :D
One easy to miss detail with Percy is that when he's in demon mode, his pepperbox actually does not need any reloading at all.
21:53 I hope everyone keeps that energy up! Spoilers suck.
Hey, fun little thing they put out was Scanlan doing a song that recapped season 1. I highly recommend you check it out.
2:34 gasp! soap for that mouth young lady! lol
😂😂😂
Don’t worry, that “f you” is how we ALL feel about Delilah Briarwood.
you forgot the biggest ship, Grog and his Ale
I gave my like after that "f you" in 2:38 LOL
😂😂🙏🏼
There's a series of Making Of...vids over on the Critical Role channel that are great as well.
14:00 Ah yes, Poly Machina... good times ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yehhhh we just like watching your hearts break, remember the sun tree? 😈… I mean yehhh we’re Kool 😅
14:01 Yeah, you saw what you saw. Kiki has a bit of a thing for Vex while Vax has a lot of a thing for Gilmore. Don't expect drama or fighting about it. The cast is known for flirting with each other in and out of game, so it's all good. (the cast has been accused of being in one big poly-cule since 2015)
Season 2 picks up literally seconds after the S1 finale. How will Vox Machina handle multiple dragons showing up for the party?
13:59 - I meaaan... Maybe right?
Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LFGGGG
Lol I love that every lingering glance between characters is a potential romance.
You would be correct. I'm pretty sure everyone except Grog flirts with Percy, and mostly that's because they enjoy being the smart/dumb odd couple
2:34 Good, goood! Follow your instincts Dee, just listen to the voice reacting and make it flow like Delilah's spit!

Check out the TV series burn notice and Royal pains. I think you might like them first ones about a spy second ones about a doctor
No mercy Percy, and the REAL reason for his nick name
You should watch the recap rap for this season, i think you'd enjoy it.
Hopefully you girls have time to upload your reactions before season 3! I'll watch them anyway but it's gonna be cool anyways!
That’s the plan! 🙂↕️🙏🏼
Keyleth liking percy theory is NOT a new one!
2:36 perfectly acceptable response, Delilah is the worst
😂😂🙏🏼
As a longtime Critter, I do think this community is one of the best at not spoiling things. Everyone will share additional info that doesn't spoil anything, but nobody wants to ruin someone's first time experiencing the series. Tbf anyone that watched the campaign knew what would happen before the animated series even came out, so I think we're all just more excited to see what new people think of it.
Excited to see your reactions to season 2, and then we can all enjoy season 3 together when it releases. Less than a month!
a character smiles and says hi and it's omg they are in love!
Super annoying when so many people do this. People blush and get embarrassed from compliments/praise, it’s not romantic or sexual.
I’m glad Percy over came the demon but like the mask and smoke powers was sick. Now he’s just a guy with a gun .

Alls I'll say is that Critters are a ship happy bunch. You potentially shipping characters that don't have that kind of relationship just means that you're in good company.
Everyone in Vox Machina is Bi, except probably Percy and maybe Grog
20:27 😂😂 may I introduce you to the Polymachina shipper side of this fandom?

it's a shame a certain Barbarian is my least favorite CR character ever (other than Opal)
@@user-jt1js5mr3f I'm thinking the animated show should be able to rework her just enough to be much better while staying true to the character, since a lot of it was due to the players absence.
@@hhylobates4098 oh for sure, I don’t hate her or anything, I could just never connect so the romance felt forced.

That Vex Keyleth moment was more supporting her, maybe sisterly. Vex just can't help making everything she does seem sexy.
