My teacher had Spotify on the first day of the school year, I’m a senior in high school, playing random songs and this one came up. I didn’t feel nervous at all that day, I usually am, especially on the first day of school when teachers make us introduce ourselves to the people sitting next to us. I started talking to the girl who sat behind me, we were busy talking about the kind of music we like, we liked the same kind of music, 60’s to 80’s, but she knew less songs than I did. Then we talked about our dreams, she said she liked books and I said I loved films. She even walked to the my next class with me. The more I knew her the more I realized I was actually falling in love, after a month, I just got so nervous and we started talking less, until we basically didn’t talk, but I still gave her assignments whenever the teacher made us get up for them, so she didn’t have to get up. She always thanked me, with her very low shy voice. We just started second semester so I don’t have her for any class anymore, I do see her walking in the hallway’s with what I assume is her boyfriend. Now when I listen to this song I think of the opportunity I misse
