  • I made some changes to my boat to try and reduce the fairly strong lee helm. I have the mast raked back to the max +/- 2deg plus light pre bend with the backstay, reduced the mainsail leech by 50mm, added a secondary attachment on the Genoa clew 50mm higher and moved the battery from just in front of the rudder to in front of the mast. Sailing today in lovely conditions the boat felt spot on, on the gusts she initially heads up then gently falls off. With two hands on the controls she is a joy to sail and docile enough to sail one handed while filming. Result : )

I like the wake she creates as she moves through the water...

I have to agree, she might be a bit heavy but goes really well with a bit of wind in her sails.......... eats up our little lake in no time.

How far can the boat go before she gets out of range of your radio control?

A whole lot further than I can see....I believe it is "line of sight" up to 2 km
