Fairy Tail Makarov Dreyar's Death || Makarov's Final Moments .

Irene utilizes her Berserker enchantment to bolster the Alvarez soldiers' strength at the cost of their cognitive function, and Makarov watches as the mindless warriors overwhelm and brutalize his guildmates. Seeing everyone hurt, Makarov wonders whether they will die, but after hearing Erza reiterate that they're going back to the guild no matter the cost, Makarov enters the stance for Fairy Law, preparing for death. Mavis then appears on the battlefield, in person, and tries to dissuade Makarov from casting the Magic, as it takes away a portion of his life relative to the number of targets he has. She also claims that she has a plan to save everyone, but Makarov angrily tells Mavis to silence herself, and that he is going to cast the Magic even though her plan will without a doubt work, as he simply cannot stand to see his children be hurt. Surmising that the choice is simple if his old life can be used to ensure the longevity of the younger ones, Makarov bestows parting words unto his guildmates and casts Fairy Law, which clears out the majority of the enemy forces, but leaves Makarov as nothing more than a husk of a statue, deceased and frozen in Fairy Law's invocation stance.

Irene - One of the most badass mages, they did a wonderful job drawing her - the coloring - the clothing - the voice actress. Everything is spot on. Probably one of the strongest mages standing next to August .. maybe even Zeref and Acnologia ?

This would have one of the great deaths in anime history. But as it always happens in Fairy Tail, the good guys never lose anyone and Makarov doesn't die - completely negating this epic moment.
