Can we say that Laxus development has been complete and the fact that he cried is the best moment. A strong man that shows tears for the people he cares about is true strength.

Although Laxus always acted like he hated the guild and his grandfather Masters Makarov. Deep down he loves the guild and especially loves his grandfather hence he broke down into tears after hearing him
The fact that Mashima didnt have balls to kill off Makarov made this even more heart breaking.

He does have character development. At first he hated the fact that his own grandpa vanished his own son which is Laxus father out of fairy tail and he's angry the fact he does that to his own flash and blood. Laxus didn't understand how messed up his father is cause how much he would rather let his own comrades got hurt . After he used the fairy law which the type of magic can only be activated if the users think the other components as their enemy. When he activated it , nothing happened cause it shows how much he cares deeply on the inside for the guild .

Makarovs should have died, his sacrifíce for his little children eaa só beautiful and was ruined when he was ressurrected.
But on the same time, this scene of Laxus openly crying in front of everyone in relief that his grandpa was alive was so beautiful.
His character came full circle in that moment, for loving his granpa, to be angry and resent him for years after his familiar problems, to openly forgive him and cry in relief of him being alive.

I will give it that:
Of all the the stuff Makarov or any other character somehow survived, implieing that Mavis and Zeref gave him their energy as they moved on was at least a decent idea for once.
Also, the directors managed to make those moments actually somewhat believable by reworking the entire pacing of the manga for the anime. For anyone who has not read the manga, keep it that way, because the anime is a better version in this case.
It's confirmed that Mavis and Zeref transferred their life force into Makarov, which is how he was resurrected. And while I do think he should've stayed dead, if you're going to bring him back, you better do it in an emotional, heartwarming manner, and well, they nailed that.

If Zeref could have just transferred his life force, then why did he not just do that to kill himself long ago?
@@GameBreaker1055 Because that doesn't work while he's immortal. The only reason he could do it then was because his and Mavis' love for one another broke that immortality.

@@GameBreaker1055 Zeref's feelings for Mavis overpowered her own feelings for him, which Mavis says was because she didn't fully have faith in him at that time, which is why the curse only killed her and broke her immortality. But now they both fully loved one another which is why it killed both of them and removed both of their immortalities rather than it doing so only for Mavis.

Grey in a way killed E.N.D. When Lucy removed the demonic side of Natsu, she let it possess her. By purging this part using his powers, he is completely eradicating the Etherious, leaving Natsu Dragneel. Although many of us wanted to see what Natsu could truly do as an Etherious, or if there was even a complete transformation like Mard Geer and the other members of Tartarus, it was sealed away forever. Even if Natsu is a demon now, he is his own man and not a pawn/creation of his brother Zeref.
I don't really care whether that's true or not, what I want to know is this:
So Grey, Happy & Lucy KNEW E.N.D. *IS* Natsu and once he arrives, Lucy is like "oh hey, you're okay" and NONE OF THEM EVEN TELL HIM THAT THEY *KNOW* WHO & WHAT HE REALLY IS AND THAT THEY STILL APPRECIATE HIM AS WHO & WHAT HE IS?!?!?! WHAT. THE ACTUAL. F**K?!?!?!
Also:
Apparently they know that, once the book disappears, Natsu will vanish aswell (I don't care to know *why* he's still there, I'm just seriously glad he *IS* still there) AND THEY JUST SIT THERE AND LET THINGS HAPPEN?!?!

Lucy rewrote the book so natsu would not disappear and and she did break down when natsu was taken by achnologia thinking he was gone for good

Am I the only one that hated the fact they brought Makarov back? Through all the plot armor bs that I tend to overlook just to enjoy the show this was the last straw. Like didn’t we spend a whole episode trying to decide who his successor was going to be only to bring this man back to life. Plus he went out in such a admirable way they should have kept him dead. But this is just my opinion at the end of the day🤷🏾♂️....

Pretty much completely screwed Makarov's story arc by sparing his life. Story would've been far better served had he remained dead after using Fairy Law. It was a wonderful end.
