Current times are no different and hit especially deep for me and for many. All we can do as a human race is heal and move forward. This is a song about exactly that. The human condition. It was written, produced, arranged, and sung to be a cathartic experience for the listener. I hope people are able to have a good cry, heal and keep moving forward. I hope it is a balm for the soul in these tough times. After all is said and done my deepest hope for my music is that it can truly help people.”
I love the piano in this song. It gives me "Lean On Me" vibes with the soulful rhythms. Avi makes amazing music. I think one of the reasons he's not big even though he came from an incredibly famous group is because he has a presence that's more laid-back and music style that's very unique to him. He writes soulful songs with deep meaning.
I was thinking the same thing now that you mention it, about the "lean on me" part. That is true his music is very different from PTX music. This is really deep music that he writes for himself and people who have felt the same way he has & I love it. To me this is more relatable than PTX but I love & enjoy PTX for different reasons.
You are absolutely right that good music has a calming and healing effect in us all. Unfortunately today popular music is beat driven, not lyrical content. Avi music is for our souls. It is from his heart and mind, and I’m addicted to every song.❤

Avi's voice is so comforting! I was so happy to see you had gotten to this. I hope it brought much healing to you. I think the fact that Avi's music isn't pop (like Pentatonix) means that the audience for PTX didn't all follow his solo music. Personally, I am even more drawn to the style of music he sings now. I wish more people would discover the beauty he creates.
