Hi Would you mind answering a question for me? What is the word for idiot in Fulani, and do you know if it’s the same for Fulani in the region of Senegal or Ivory Coast?

There is no word for idiot

I didn’t ask about stupid. My mom remembers her grandfather saying kombojeni (or something like this) when she was a child. My question is sincere

@@mwks3486 It was a mistake I was to write idiot . The fulfulde of Senegal or Ivory Coast and Nigeria have dialectical difference

Ok thx. My grandfather immigrated to Grenada, where he did very well for himself and his descendants. He had to become Christian to live in this Catholic country, but he was likely Muslim. Through this word, Komodjinai = idiot, I’ve been able at least trace his origin.@@baqirfulani Two years ago, I met a Fulani (from Guinea) who actually told me the correct word after I explained how my great-grandfather used the term according to my term. Thank you so much for your help.
