- This is my review and overview of my new Umarex Beretta mod 84fs. Forgive my hands shaking a little and the poor cutting in two places of this vid. I might have had to many redbulls before making this vid. Please give me a thumbs up if you enjoy it or a thumb down if you do not. I promise I wont shoot you if you dislike my vid :). I will also appreciate any comments and subscriptions.
After owning this gun for quite some time now I have some updates. I have actually two of them now and the slide has cracked where the top of the hammer sits on both of them. Both still work though but another issue has also occurred. The firing pin assembly inside the slide has broken off on both my 84fs. could be welded i suppose but not something one should have to do on a gun thats only like 8 months old with no more than 4000 rounds through it. I highly recommend the Umarex H&K VP9 which has exactly the same operation and I had one for 2.5 years, abused it quite a bit and probably fired around 25 000 bbs through it and the only thing I ever managed to break was the slide stop using like a 14 pound recoil spring. It comes new with like a 3.5 pound spring :)
I have two 84fs umarex and I really like them...thanks for the video
Have two 84s myself now too :). Glad you enjoyed my review and I hope my english sounds alright
@@gunnygunslinger6633 how long a co2 capsule last you??
I have the Umarex 92. This model appears to be smaller. Thanks for your nice video.
Thanks for watching! and yes it is smaller. It is like what the glock 19 is to a glock 17 except the 84 is more of a shoulder holster carry gun and is chambered in 380 acp or short 9 mm if we are talking about the real firearm.
Can you use airsoft bb’s?
Please forgive my slow response. Assuming you are talking about the most common airsoft caliber 6 mm then no since this gun is chambered for .177 bbs or 4.5 mm. I have how ever seen airsoft brand plastic bbs in 4.5 mm that are made for .177 bb guns like this Beretta. Also, there are actually metal bbs in 6 mm that of course can be used in airsoft guns. They might cause some wear and tear overtime but shouldn’t be any problem at all using them a few times even in cheaper guns. You can get plastic bbs for higher velocity bb guns and metal possibly steel bbs for lower velocity 6 mm airsoft guns. The bigger the caliber is on a gun the higher the force gets behind the round. Of course many other things factors in to a weapons muzzle Energi especially on a co2 driven bb gun like valve size, hammer spring, seals etc.
Does This air gun need specific co2 cartridges and bbs from Umarex because i ordered the co2 and bbs from Crossman. will it still work???
yes
It uses the same bbs and co2 cartridges as most bb guns so Crossman will work great. You just don’t want to use bbs that are softer than the standard steel bbs
Also, Once you have started using a certain type of 12 gram co2 cartridge like the Crossman you usually want to stick to that brand at least after you have used that brand for a couple of weeks since a lot of brands can have a little differently shaped top on their cartridges so changing brands after using another brand for weeks could cause leakage since over time the rubber seal will get shaped like the cartridge you have been using.
