I just left my dentist appointment crying my eyes out, and I came across these videos. Thank you for the transparency. I really needed to see this ❤️❤.
Aww sorry u we’re crying … I had problems with my teeth all my life then wind up getting a blood syndrome that made them worst I was like you guys but I realized I have to do it for me and only me … no one is perfect
You should be very proud that you were able to overcome your dental fears! Think of all the people you have positively influenced. Congratulations!! You look great.
Your new teeth look great, it would be great to see an update video of how you felt the following weeks after and how they are now, eating, talking, any pain, dental healthcare, brushing, any regrets etc
The 4 videos about your new teeth were amazing, thanks for sharing that journey! I have crooked teeth which look awful, since I don't have cavities or other issues, for my case i would consider braces and traditional means of fixing my teeth, but if needed, I would absolutely go the implant path. I know its been more than 2 years since you made the videos, but I'm so happy for you! Also the furniture you made during yoir treatment was really cool. I know you must've felt amazing when you fixed your smile, it can do wonders for one's self esteem! God bless!
I’m glad I came across this video. I’m 19 and had acid reflux that just destroyed my teeth, I’m glad to have this option down the road. I’m not confident smiling or laughing because you can definitely tell my teeth are decayed.
I wish you'd given us a really good, up-close-and-personal look at your finished teeth, Ryan. I was all excited to see the end result, lol. I'm curious to know how you feel about them a year after getting them done? You look marvelous!!
That's it! I'm adopting you. You my friend are amazing and I admire your talent and work ethics. But to show that you are an actual human capable of flaws and insecurities and not shy away from us but taking us on your journey....Amazing! Consider this mind blown! THANKS!
If hotel and ride back and forth to your appointments was included in the package, you must of spent at least 50k.😮 The teeth look good brother. I'm glad that you're happy. 👍
Your teeth are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and extremely natural looking. No one would know you have implants. Best wishes to you Ryan. Now about your furniture videos.....You sir, are a master at your craft. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Have you taken some of your older videos down? I can't seem to find my favorite one. Your work really amazes me. You start with a piece of crap French Provincial furniture that you couldn't give away even if you tried, and turn it into something that looks like it belongs in the Presidential Suite at the finest Parisian hotel. Keep posting your videos. They are the BEST!!!
She put that third set in and you lit up. The confidence that your new teeth sparked is awesome. It looks great and I’m glad you’re having a positive experience. As my son would say- Florida is as hot as balls! LoL No one is prepared for that level of humidity. Even up here in NE Florida (St. Augustine) it’s intense.
I know how you feel about having to have your teeth taken out. I have always had pretty good teeth, but about 13 or14 months ago, I had them cleaned and x-rayed and everything was fine. Then 13 or14 months after that I had them cleaned and was told I had cavities at the gum line on basically almost every tooth I have.(I had no clue because they looked ok) I cannot explain how devastated I am and even my dentist didn't know what to do. My husband is searching for another dentist with good experience and good reviews so that I can at least get a second opinion. The other dentist gave me only two choices: dentures, or permanent teeth (which I cannot afford) So now I sit in tears and wonder what I will do, although I won't make any decisions until I get a second opinion. I ask the prayers from people that comment on your site. I enjoyed the 4 part series about your choice of having permanent teeth. For some reason, the series on your teeth and what you went through has at least given me hope. Thank you for the inspiration. Your teeth look beautiful!!
I just found this, thank you for doing this. I'm getting my mum a dental implant for her upper teeth, approx $25,000 here is New Zealand! Considering taking her overseas to do it... My big concern is her not having any pain anymore from wearing partial dentures, so your video gives me hope!
It took about 2 more weeks for the swelling on the roof of my mouth to go down and stop being painful. It is something that is common but it really got to me. I've had my permanent teeth in for about 30 days now and I have almost zero pain. A few aches from the posts from time to time but nothing major.
I watched all 4 videos and I commend you for doing that to help others. It couldn’t have been easy but I know I wondered what it would be like and I’m sure there’s many others who needed to see this. Btw, even with no teeth your handsome. With that said we expect to see a whole lot more smiles on your videos ❤
You are so blessed. I WISH I could afford to have this done. I have not had the courage to smile big in YEARS or be able to taste my food as I used to. :(
Ive been wanting so desperately to repair my damaged teeth and finally try to remember smiling. I just dont have the money. Your documented journey IS the BEST, Most accurate and just real-time true explanation I have found on You Tube. You take us with you on this momentous journey with you and I for one, was a dude with misty eyes watching, all the way to the end. I felt privileged, and grateful to see what it could be like for me. THANK YOU for introducing me to Done In One. Im in Long Beach,Ca. Cheers! Xavi-
Your teeth came out great. They look natural and the best part is that you will have them for a life time and all that pain will be in your rear view mirror. I also love how that dresser came out. White is a very good company. Just goes to show that you can work wonders even with minimal products. Shout out to that dentist and his staff.
@@ThatShabbyGuy LOL, if you didn't just mention it, nobody would have known. BTW, I didn't watch the whole experience, but I know you are relieved and will never regret this. I wish I could do it. I hate to think of the tips you will be getting NOW at your go-go boy job. WOW. "Shabby Sheik"
I just saw this video and your previous one and I just want to tell you that you're very courageous and the video before you had your teeth pulled made me tear up a bit. I'm so glad that you don't have to suffer any more with dental problems, which can be agonizing. My husband has had to deal with it and I had a toothache and had to have a tooth pulled because of it and I can only imagine what it's like to have multiple problems. As always you do beautiful work and I wish you all the best.
I can't thank you enough for having your implant surgery here for all of us to see and find comfort in as we go through similar journeys. I just had my 4 lower front teeth extracted 4 days ago and have my temporary bridge until the bone graft heals for the permanent teeth. I wasn't prepared for the emotions that overwhelmed me when I came back home after the surgery. I cried the night before but even more after... I wasn't prepared to see myself without those front teeth but knowing the silver lining with the new teeth is on the horizon I cried happiness too. Like you, pain was very minimal but the discomfort is there... and speaking with the temps does getting use to. I know I will go through the same in the future with my uppers, but seeing your journey and going thru my own does bring comfort. I'm sending you a big thank you hug for documenting your journey Ryan with us. Your smile looks amazing!!!! I can't wait to have my self confidence back and smile like I use to. xoxo
Good God in Heaven. Bless that dental office for their skill and efficiency. I can't imagine this taking weeks or months for the entire process. On the plus side, having extensive dental work in Florida is a great excuse to eat ice cream.
I’ve been putting off my implants for 3 years. You gave me confidence to look into getting out of my horrible denture. I was in my 30’s when I had all my teeth removed due to major childhood and early adulthood illness. I’m now better but have to deal with the aftermath. In my profile pic here I’m on the right with my beautiful mom in the middle and my daughter on the left.
I came across your implants videos last night and was amazed at the end result. And then to top it off I seen that you give furniture nobody wanted a make over. ❤❤❤❤
I’m In Australia. I just had my top only removed. I’m impressed you get a hotel and personal diver to and from. I thank you for journaling your journey!! It has helped me!!! I know if my temps aren’t good I should ask for adjustments. So that they can get the final teeth right.
I have B1 colored porcelain crowns from 20 years ago. B1 at the time was the brightest white in the dental world. They look great to this day! Your final set looks amazing on you!!
I have only watched bits and pieces of your videos but I have to get yet another tooth out this week and I am so anxious about it. I'm only 27 and have lost multiple and am worried about all these spaces but with the amount of pain I am in, I am positive I dont have a choice. I am scared but also relieved because I know it is the right choice and seeing your videos makes me feel like I am not alone. Thank you!
I've been inspired by your dental journey and am setting up appointments for second opinions on my own teeth. I'd love to have Done in One do mine. Thank you so much for being willing to share your experiences with us. I love that dresser, by the way! My favorite style.
How wonderfully brave of you to share your entire experience with the dental work. You look AMAZING! And how amazing of them to let you do what you do best in their facility. Beautiful work as usual....in spite of not being in your own place and using products your not familiar with. Bravo bravo!!
Wow! What a ride!! I just watched all 4 parts and am feeling a little emotional. The dresser turned out great, of course. I wonder what they did with it. What a cool place that is! That lab is really interesting. I've never even thought of anything like that. That dazzling smile matches the rest of you now. 😁 You look great. Hopefully everything went well and you're all healed up now. I'll have to make sure to notice your smile in your videos. I really enjoyed this and am so happy for you!!!! 💙💙💙
I really enjoyed sharing this experience with you. As a two time orthodontic wearer I can appreciate the change your new teeth offered you. Watching your emotions roller coaster as you moved through the experience was touching. I’m so happy it all turned out so well for you. It’s such a wonderful feeling to be on the other side of a hard experience.
Really enjoyed you're video. Thanks for sharing the whole experience. Its hopefully something i can get done in near future. I also subscribed to your channel all the way from southern Ireland ❤
Loved the videos and thank you for sharing this awesome journey with us… you have really inspired hope in me… I too have suffered for years with bad teeth and I have been told by my dentist denture implants is the best option for me…but I can’t afford them… your videos allow me to maintain hope that one day I may follow your path, take this journey and better my quality of life. Take care…
Thank you for sharing your journey of oral health ....you obviously overcame a lot of adversity and had a lot of courage to show your venerability.❤ The dresser looks awesome 👌
Enjoy your videos when I have time to watch. Just ran across the 3 videos about your dental implant adventure. Good for you! As someone who has experienced dental pain and childbirth, it is hard to say which is worse. I am so happy that your suffering is over.
I lost about 80 % of my teeth. They broke at the gum line and didn't hurt. I had gastric bypass surgery done years ago and lost over 100 lbs !! I also got a very bad vitamin deficiency and low iron i am anemic and had to have a blood transfusion because of it. So my teeth breaking and rotting from the inside our happens. I don't drink soda and inuse to brush my teeth 2 a day i didn't floss everyday but did it a few times a week and my teeth all went to shit. I saw your first video and now it's 2:30 am i am on number 4 !! I had to watch all of them tonight. I want to make sure i want to go threw with it. You look great and sound like you have your natural teeth. I hate pain and i am afraid they will have to cut open my gums to remove the teeth that broke at the gum line. I subscribed to your channel and hope to keep watching ❤
I was just passing thru while doing research on furniture refinishing, but stayed to follow your healthcare journey. Your dental work looks fantastic. FWIW I admire your bravery for sharing such a personal story. Congratulations and keep smiling!
Oh wow! When you got the third set it was obvious not just by looks but also the way you articulated your words that they were perfect! I think the piece came out great especially with not just the learning curve of new products and work space but also totally different climate. Glad you’re home and thank you for sharing this experience with all of us as well as opening up and sharing your thoughts a feelings 💕
Yeah it sounds like I have a bad lisp at the beginning of the video because the second set was too big. I still sounded a bit off because of the injection site being swollen and painful. My tongue avoided that area when saying the "s" sound. That continued for a few more weeks before the that spot calmed down. The narration you hear in a few parts of the video is my voice now, 30 days later and it sounds even more crisp. Its kinda crazy how that all works. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this. I’m about to get a full implant done on Wednesday and I am sh*tting myself with stress. Your video has helped and now there is light at the end of the tunnel. Great job on the video and the furniture 🙏🏼
You see why he’s there really when he tears up…. Good for him, really. There’s nothing like wandering through life thinking you’re ugly and undesirable or however you want to term that. Nothing like it…. As if you’re not worthy of love because of your appearance, it’s a sick cold world.
Was so pleased to see this latest video come up! Was wondering how you were going? Omg your teeth look stunning, you must be so thrilled! Take care, wishing you all the best. I am now booked in to get my all on 4 in November, so excited
Yeah... It has taken some getting used to. Between the teeth changing the shape of my mouth and losing 12lbs (5.4kg) during my stay in Florida I've been told I look almost like a totally different person. I don't mind though. All of my pain is gone.
I'm late for all of this. I'm not sure why this 4 part series showed up now for me to watch but I am glad it did. Should I ever decide to get something like this done, I will go to the same place. I mean it is amazing you had all this done and refinished a piece of furniture the same weekend!
You look and sound great, man! I'm proud of you for facing your fears and taking care of yourself. About 8 years ago, I was in the same situation you were. My teeth were much worse than yours though. I was very conscious of my smile and avoided showing my teeth, I couldn't chew my food very well, and it even affected my speech. Tooth pain is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I was afraid of getting my teeth pulled but eventually decided to make an appointment. The people at the dentist office were the coolest. I told them everything I was worried about and they had solutions to everything and set my mind at ease. I had my teeth pulled in 2 appointments and got immediate dentures. Felt like I had a hockey puck in my mouth! I distinctly remember it was day 12 and I could finally chew something other than mashed potatoes. I got some nuggets from McDonald's and let me tell you that was one of the best meals I have ever eaten, haha! Getting my teeth removed and getting dentures is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I couldn't quite afford the implants, but it's not a big deal to me. I am happy now and feel so much better. The whole process was so much smoother and easier than I had made it out to be in my mind. I had very little pain and adjusted to my new teeth quickly. If you are reading this and you need to have this done and are afraid, I understand. If you can be brave for a while and just get started, you will see it's not as bad as you think and I promise you will feel so much better!
Wow,,,Your new teeth look amazing. You actually look much more healthy as well. Very nice of you to do a dresser over for the doctor. Looking forward to some future video's. Take care of yourself.
What a wonderful end to your dental journey. I can tell the final fitting was much better. Can’t wait to see more flips when you are rested up. WhT a nice doctor too.
Wow, this was interesting. Just removing and putting the teeth back in - I’m like I hope it’s not painful … goodness mercy. Glad you made it through. 👍🏽Great work on the refinish! ❤️
I’m so happy to see you posted a video! The dresser looks great, especially considering different environment, different products, etc! Also, your teeth look great! They did a good job for you. It’s pretty cool that they accommodated you regarding the dresser! Sounds like they’re not only good at what they do, but also, really great people!
Your teeth look great and you are speaking much clearer now. So glad it all turned out well for you. The dental team seem super accommodating to your needs which is also great. The furniture flip turned out nicely :-)
You can really hear a difference in my speech between the two sets. My narrating that you hear in a few parts of the video is what I sound like now, 30 days later. I still had that sore in my mouth at the time of recording the video. It is gone now. I am even surprised at how clear my speech is when I rewatch this video

Thanks for sharing!!
😁Thanks for sharing your experience. We appreciate your vulnerability.
Take care…
Thank you for sharing your journey of oral health ....you obviously overcame a lot of adversity and had a lot of courage to show your venerability.❤
The dresser looks awesome 👌
WOW. You look fantastic!!! What an experience. So very happy for you. All of ur furniture projects are first class like you. 👏🏻👍🏻😉
Thanks for documenting the journey brotha 👍
I was just passing thru while doing research on furniture refinishing, but stayed to follow your healthcare journey. Your dental work looks fantastic. FWIW I admire your bravery for sharing such a personal story. Congratulations and keep smiling!
Thank you for taking the time to let me know. It means a lot.
Happy you are feeling better! 😎
You see why he’s there really when he tears up…. Good for him, really. There’s nothing like wandering through life thinking you’re ugly and undesirable or however you want to term that. Nothing like it…. As if you’re not worthy of love because of your appearance, it’s a sick cold world.
This is my new favorite channel I enjoy the work you do, and this was especially touching, you sharing something so personal. Thank you.
Welcome aboard!
You wanted to look cute - you look cute. Your smile 😀 is infectious with your beautiful new set of pearly whites. Thanks for sharing your journey ❤
dresser looks great too
Was so pleased to see this latest video come up! Was wondering how you were going? Omg your teeth look stunning, you must be so thrilled! Take care, wishing you all the best.
I am now booked in to get my all on 4 in November, so excited
Congrats! You'll love having a new smile!
Shabby I hardly knew you. Teeth are looking fabulous. Your face shape has even changed. Looking really good young man. Great to see ya x
Yeah... It has taken some getting used to. Between the teeth changing the shape of my mouth and losing 12lbs (5.4kg) during my stay in Florida I've been told I look almost like a totally different person. I don't mind though. All of my pain is gone.
@@ThatShabbyGuy So good that the pain is gone. It must be great looking at such a beautiful set of teeth in the mirror.
Why they put on zirconia teeth and not the titanium teeth?
I'm late for all of this. I'm not sure why this 4 part series showed up now for me to watch but I am glad it did. Should I ever decide to get something like this done, I will go to the same place. I mean it is amazing you had all this done and refinished a piece of furniture the same weekend!
Amazing job on the dresser.
Im watching from New Zealand really good videos
That smile is smoking hot my guy! Happy for you! Congratulations!
I cried with ya ❤ you look great. Glad you have your confidence back.
Your smile is gorgeous and your furniture is beautiful!
You’re wonderful. What a fantastic experience you’ve shared with us. Many thanks!
What a wonderful end to your dental journey. I can tell the final fitting was much better. Can’t wait to see more flips when you are rested up. WhT a nice doctor too.

Looks great! Thank you for showing all this. You don't how many people you've helped!
I really liked the bright white with the brown top. For a future piece :)
U sound even better with this pair in.
Wow, this was interesting. Just removing and putting the teeth back in - I’m like I hope it’s not painful … goodness mercy. Glad you made it through. 👍🏽Great work on the refinish! ❤️
lookin good bud.
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this. I am about to get this done and seeing your journey takes some of my fear away... Rob....
Daaym what a great Dentist, so pro, looking GREAT!!
Thank you for inviting us on your experiences with your teeth. At the end your confidence grew to match your new amazing smile. Take care xx
