I think the other player played the hand pretty strangely. But the river call is fine. To me this bluff gets Aces to fold. Strong two pairs and trips are not folding. The most likely value hands are 88s or A8 suited. Neither is folding on the river. In general I think back door flushes get overbluffed.
Jungleman’s hand is the same crap that keeps happening to me! Runner runner two pair, runner runner flush, runner runner straight, and I would flop a set or a lower two pair etc. it’s just sickening how many times the fish get so lucky! 🤦♂️

I understand trying to squeeze as much value as you can out of each hand but I guess it’s my inner nit to want to check the river in jungle’s position.
Golden comment section. Jungle could value 44, AQ, AJ, flushes He has a diamond in hand and it’s one of the worse hand he comes river w (JTs being another one) It’s a good bluff and a shitty spot to bluff catch having a J that block some JT bluffs and not having diamonds Especially vs Jungle who usually don’t overbluff any spot and quite balance overall compared to others
Tbh, KxQd is the kind of bluff good players understand but bad players view as greedy. Bad players think they have showdown value with a Q not understanding how L overbetting the turn and checking the river narrows L's range down to middle-range hands like QQ, AQ, A4, A8, and AK that have more showdown value than a lone Q, see the issue? L rarely shows up with a flush or straight after checking the river because he bets those along with his bluffs that are hands containing either the Kd or Td. So piece it together, L doesn't have bluffs when he checks and doesn't have nutted hands either so a Q is losing to that range. Jungle has the Qd that blocks the combos of QQ and AQ that are L's natural bluff-catching hands and he also has the Kc which is nice because it blocks some AK L can potentially call with as well if he understands that Jungle would also bet a straight at close to pot because he knows L's range is capped.

@@DvdStennis He said that because he was in disbelief L called with his holding. L loses to all of jungleman's value hands and basically needs to put jungle on his exact holding, thus why jungle said "I guess I had a one pair hand with a blocker"
who was the bright spark that decided if you had a diamond and there was 3 diamonds down that you BLOCKED flushes. There are plenty of other cards and you DONT BLOCK them.
It's more of a tie breaker for situations where you should take an action some % of the time, i.e. with some fraction of similar-playing holdings that you might have. Might as well map those to the cases where you block something vs. not. In addition, it matters which blockers those are, e.g. at times if you have the Q or K of a certain suit or blocking a certain straight, those also map to the specific cards that the other player would have been likely to been playing preflop or in the action so far.
@@JohnHawksley87 I feel Jungle's pain. The problem is that there are too many players that just don't have any concept of considering how many combinations of made hands could Jungleman have in that position versus how many bluffs could he have likely run in that position - they don't do any math at all and consider how improbable that J-8 could possibly be good and its because they either don't know how to do the exercies or they just can't be bothered. You could probably interview "L"'s rationale for makiing the call here and it would likely just boil down to "I felt like he was bluffing" which is what so many players actually do. It can be pretty maddening to play against less knowlegeable, less skilled players which is even more difficult when you play lower stakes.
Jungle man looks like he just went on a 3 day bender and still hasn’t changed his clothes
Jungleman looks like the tweaker outside my local Safeway
hes definitely on some uppers
I heard he's only 23 years old or something around there. Dude looks like he's lived a rough 40
Are you sure that he isn’t that Tweaker?
Nice neighborhood you live in .
Looks like a tweaker/cook I used to live near in Vegas
Idk what it is about Jungleman but I get stressed out just looking at him. He looks super strung out all the time.

Shut up
Brain freeze is no joke

Sometimes there's some light chewing involved with smoothies. Pretty standard.
None of these comments serve a purpose including this one.

nobody taking that smoothie away from him😂😂

Jungleman just got greedy with that river bet. Plenty of showdown value and L had shown a ton of strength in the hand.

Jungleman a smackhead ?
high level bluffs dont work against fish, like literally the ratio of value combos/ bluffs is just ridiculous so high that J8 is a snap easy fold
I like this "half Paul Rudd, half Tom Waits" thing that Jungle has going on here.
It looks like the guy from UP is playing a hand against the grown up boy scout on Ozempic
Mariano is a FISH
Seems like an easy river check back.
Not enough showdown & he had a key bluffing card. I think he played perfect on every street & L played poorly on every street.

Serious question does jungle use drugs?
It’s hard to tell from my perspective. Stress and sleep deprivation can do this too. I could see him on antidepressants tbh
Clearly amphet
I really worry about what is going to happen to him, he seems to be deteriorating but no one seems to care cause he's good for the game
What are you even talking about bro
Agreed. He needs some sleep at a minimum
No idea what you're talking about. This is standard Jungle right here
He’s always been like this… definitely still winning vs these lineups too

Doc Holliday vibes

Jungleman's shirt is giving me a migraine...🤕🚑🏥
This guy L seems like a complete calling station. I never see him make river folds heads up.
He folded a boat Vs Dylan flashner. Board was like q q 10 3 3, L folded a Q, Dylan had q10
So so sus. L is running some of that J4 stuff. Peter did too.
Bradley = Ned Flanders

Wonder why Jungle played here. He’s much better than this
