Because of this game, I recently adopted a cat, and it was the best decision of my life. I tend to give him tons of support and love it forever. This was an excellent game created by the developers, and it will always be one of my favorites.
The devs had a launch event here in NY at a cat cafe this past weekend. The staff told me most of the cats there were adopted that week and were soon going to be leaving, and I want to believe the game and the event played a huge part in that. Enjoy your new kitty, wish you two the best!
I think it’s a happy ending 1. B-12 is most likely alive after see something twitch and turn on near the end, meaning that he most likely got himself stuck in the system again. Otherwise I don’t see why they would make that machine turn on for no reason. 2. The cat will find his family, I mean he found his way out of that hell hole with 1000 rats and crazy drones with lasers. 3. Clementine and the rest of the friendly robots are ok! C: I like the game, good thing it didn’t end in the most saddest way possible 👍
Thing is, the game actually has alot of lore expansion potential for possible future dlcs, for example: a dlc of the cat reuniting with his other feline friends or the life of robots after freedom and how they will re-establish order back on earth, perhaps a detailed take into the origin of those massive eyes sticking out of the sewer pipes, maybe even b-12's pov in his human form as a scientist amid crisis, and segments based around the time when humans were still alive and how everything turned out the way it did. Decent game tho, didn't expect it to be this touching, hope the devs make good profit out of it to surprise players with more good games with a better budget.
If you guys slow it down to 0.25x like I did, at 50:47 (obviously a few seconds later) when the machine flashes it kinda resembles what B-12 looked like right under it, or the little drone at least.
They actually had cats in the offices of the production studios so they could study and observe them for the game. Also, if you play the game and and gain 100% memories in each area, the robot friend will give you a new vest. ❤️

I never thought a game being a cat could be phenomenally good. I watched last video and I felt maybe it’s the details in the character’s movements, the environment, and the story. I may not be the biggest cat person, but seeing this gameplay might change my perspective a little more. Thanks to the team who worked hard on this game, they’ve shown love and passion.
The fact that at the end when the cat was about to leave the city, you can see that we was blinked for at least 2 seconds each time, that meant that he was showing affection to everyone he has met in the cuty

I honestly think this game has the same ending type as misfortune, like if you get all the memories you get a different ending compared to getting all the little sparkles for the true happiness ending

Another fun fact about cats: did you know when they have slit pupils it means they're calm and relax but when they're wide and circle like they're ready to attack.

The ending made all of us feel some type of way. I really love how this game portrayed this cat, most media show cats as being apathetic and disloyal creatures, but this cat pulled at my heartstrings.

god the ending scene(s) of the natural sunlight finally falling over the city + the cat turning around and walking into the greenery brought me to tears. idk there was js something so emotional and symbolic abt seeing natural sunlight hit a city running on neon lights for the first time in years. god the ending scene too,,, UGH what a beautiful game, tysm Jay for playing it!! ur series is def my favorite playthrough by far lol
A cat mannerism in the final shot of him as he's outside and sitting at the top of the steps, looking back before he walks away is the slow blink. When a cat gives you the slow blink, it's their way of saying "I love you." Amazing how this hits so many people in the feels. Good on promoting the purchase of this game as a way to keep the company invested for their hard work, it's a nice "underdog" (sorry, kitteh, lol) story to witness happening, I hope they see some awards for this....this game easily pulled me in, great chill vibe with music, story, the tension was there though,(those fuggin' sewers and wtf were those eyeballs?!) the graphics are some of the most attractive I've seen. And the little power short on the left side of the screen at the last shot after cat walks away.... B 12? Sequel? Family reunion then?

This game apart from being my most favorite game so far, and having amazing graphics. It made me have some sort of awareness in things things example in each break that the cat takes it tells that no matter how difficult things might be you should take a break for yourself. And just like how everyone never said "thank you" to the cat it says that you can help people all the time but some might never appreciate it. And how the cat could never say anything about it and like how Jay said that whenever an animal is hurt it just can't say how it actually feels and takes all of the pain in... it's sad tbh... but you just don't wait to have anything in return for a favor you do- and many more things that this game has made me remember and realize and for that... the only thing that I can say for this game is THANK YOU FOR BEING CREATED-!
since i'm a cat person ( i have two kittens) every time the cat got hurt i just started crying, and the time i cried the most during this gameplay was when the drone just died, and cried even harder when the cat just sat next to it. 100% amazing
SPOILER WARNING.... I just finished the game like 3 hours ago. I still can't shake off the ending. The more I think about it the more beautiful it is. The last remaining human consciousness chose his friend over the responsibility of carrying on human history. To be the last remaining human soul and choose to sacrifice yourself for your friend. It's just. Wow. I'm still crying about how hauntingly, tragically beautiful this is.

Ever since my favorite clingy cat lost. I wasnt who I used to be, cause everytime I have problems. He would be comforting me, no one else. I always have to go to my grandma's house in order to hangout with the cats. Some of them would go to my shortcut just to visit me. Cats are like, a comforting animal whenever you're sad or stress out. By their cuteness and their types of attitude. You would feel like, you're a cat lover now. I have been a cat lover ever since at the age of 9 and a half. I was so scared with cats back then, cause one scratched me. But I get along and not so called the scaredy cat. So this video, throughout the whole episode. I enjoyed myself. With or without cats, still need to be a cat lover. Thanks Jay!
Jay, there was a little egg in the game where you could put a bag on the cats head! (It’s funny because it inverts the controls too so it’s like your experiencing it with the cat also) 😭 I think you would have loved it, also when you dropped the paint and walked through it (not run) you would have left paw prints. Another funny thing is that you can trip walking robots.
This game is sooo adorable🥺🥺 Also, being in my room with 4 of my cats while watching this. And I kept plugging my earphones in an out since I thought the in-game meows was theirs lolol

Hey Jay, I know you just went on a emotional ass game adventure, but I'd like to recommend something. Cat's Are Liquid, a light in the dark. I think you'd enjoy it a lot and there's even a second one called, Cat's Are Liquid, a better place. It's a fun game, and the perfect thing to get your mind of the events of stray.
This series was one of the best series you have ever recorded. The end was really sad because the cat didn't get to reunite with its family, and because the cat lost his friend it found near the start of the journey. I hope they make a second Stray game soon.

hello jay !! watching your videos helps me so much as I have been diagnosed with c-ptsd and I love watching your videos to distract me from my thoughts and negative feelings because I really love your humor and you can always make me laugh even when im at a really low point - I have been watching you since I was young and I think I will always remain supporting you because you have always been such a comfort to me if you are looking for more games to play I recommend your turn to die, it is similar to danganronpa in terms of it being a death game, I think you will really enjoy it as in my personal opinion the characters are much more realistic and the gameplay involves tricky (death) puzzles and way more player interaction - all the characters are so unique and loveable I think you will enjoy it no doubt ! and to top it off *your turn to die is completely free* !! - the game is amazing however very underrated the fandom is fairly small so I would love if you could also give it some recognition (promise you it isnt a free shitty game) - yttd also includes jumpscares and stuff if that interests you

Jay, there was a little egg in the game where you could put a bag on the cats head! (It’s funny because it inverts the controls too so it’s like your experiencing it with the cat also) 😭 I think you would have loved it, also when you dropped the paint and walked through it (not run) you would have left paw prints. Another funny thing is that you can trip walking robots.
The part where B-12 broke down and the cat slept with the body got me crying

Yall at the ending someone explained that the cat home was a 20 to 30 second run to the right so it did find their home
this was so amazing i never felt so touched by such game. having a cat just make me love her even more thank you so much for finishing this game this was a roller coaster of emotions truly

Hey Jay, I know you just went on a emotional ass game adventure, but I'd like to recommend something.
Cat's Are Liquid, a light in the dark. I think you'd enjoy it a lot and there's even a second one called, Cat's Are Liquid, a better place. It's a fun game, and the perfect thing to get your mind of the events of stray.
This series was one of the best series you have ever recorded. The end was really sad because the cat didn't get to reunite with its family, and because the cat lost his friend it found near the start of the journey. I hope they make a second Stray game soon.
these types of games where the world is inclosed from us makes me feel a little different. I wish we could’ve seen the cat go back to his family and I wish we saw the outside world.

hello jay !! watching your videos helps me so much as I have been diagnosed with c-ptsd and I love watching your videos to distract me from my thoughts and negative feelings because I really love your humor and you can always make me laugh even when im at a really low point - I have been watching you since I was young and I think I will always remain supporting you because you have always been such a comfort to me
if you are looking for more games to play I recommend your turn to die, it is similar to danganronpa in terms of it being a death game, I think you will really enjoy it as in my personal opinion the characters are much more realistic and the gameplay involves tricky (death) puzzles and way more player interaction - all the characters are so unique and loveable I think you will enjoy it no doubt ! and to top it off *your turn to die is completely free* !! - the game is amazing however very underrated the fandom is fairly small so I would love if you could also give it some recognition (promise you it isnt a free shitty game) - yttd also includes jumpscares and stuff if that interests you
