I have the 24 fret version and you have to remove the screws on the top, because the are loose round little things inside that protect the string from making contact with the back of the screw, so the string goes first them the round soft metal parts and them turn the screw back in. if the string touches the back of the screws it will brake, the unwound strings have two of those things and the strings must run between them. I am not a fan of this way of fixing the strings, but it seems to work fine for the time being. I use a magnet to fish those things out, so I make sure the strings run under them, if you use the system you showed us there is a big chance of misplacing the strings and it will brake for sure, even the wounded strings, I had that happen to me !
I've seen a few comments in review videos explaining that string options for string gauges are rather limited in these models. As in, the saddles in the bridge are to small to fit anything thicker than like a 46 through. Is this the case? and if so can we expect to see a remedy to this in future models?
Hello,I just bought one this amazing guitar, and prepare to bought the second one!!!great job!but I want to know will the stock nut work good with 1052 string for drop c turning?thanks a lot!:)
Hey Harley Benton! So I am really interested in this model, but I need to know how the "headstock" area works a bit more, when you pull the strings through to clamp it down, do you pull the string through it as tight as you can like with locking tuners? Or do you leave some slack for tuning?
Hi Harley Benton. How easy is it to change tunings? Say for example one day I want drop A or B and next week standard E, would i need new strings each time I want to change tunings? Thank you very much!
Now that one I'm buying already. I have been following your brand since I mover to Germany for my studies. I even called at thomann to give you gives a review. Want I'm really excited is your new ragnarok guitar I saw at agufish. Want to know more about them and if possible want to give some feedback regarding that!
Am I the only one? I am following the video but my strings always snap off during the tightening :( already killed the second set of strings :( and when I tightened them less it was going out of the tune by slipping
I'm quite proud that you kept most of the design I sent you years ago! (I lost access to my old magneticmonster email account so never saw if you replied) I've also just mostly finished a design for a machine-head with selectable 'string collars' to tune two strings via a sliding rod/gear mechanism. That would do away with my idea to string a twelve-string 'half headless' to keep the headstock a regular 6 string size.
That's all fine and dandy but what about when you can't even get the string in the whole on the nut end. My guitar isn't like this. The nut locks are recessed into the wood, making it damn near impossible to restring this thing. Good job!
@@HarleyBentonOfficial I'm just wondering how it even made it to the shelf. Whoever put strings on this would have known immediately there was a problem.
@@HarleyBentonOfficial What ? that's heavy, it looked very light from the handling. please give exact weight ! ( both would weight differently as well) thanks !
The Allen bolt you undid at the bridge is for intonation of the guitar. I would advise everyone to disregard this video and watch Remco Mayer’s video on Apollo Music Parts (the supplier of the bridge hardware) to see how to correctly restring.
The screw he undid at the bridge in the video is on the shaft/tube of the tuning mechanism. the screw for the intonation is in-between that and the point where the string leaves the bridge beneath the string. i am currently building a bass using the bass version of this bridge.
This demonstration is correct. The tiny screw he loosened at the saddle is locking the string at the bridge and makes tuning stability even better and - like already mentioned here - the intonation screw is the bigger, silver one. I would advise you to look closer ;)

"Now lets insert it from the back"..... glad Eytschpi42 Henning was not around.
Man im really into the flat top.
But HP ISN'T Greek! ;oP
@bob simons No, just a German VEGAN! ;oP
Please make a 24 frets version, it's such a great guitar it just needs those few extra frets
well it's the standard version now
I found this by scanning the bar code. Thanks for making the video. Appreciate it
Cant wait for extended range or maybe a multiscale version. A baritone would be so cool.
Yep :)
@@HarleyBentonOfficial Bass version please? Especially a short scale
Can you please make another video about how to work intonation ? Thanks!
when will the pro series explorers be released?
if we keep asking maybe they'll answer

Hey Estelon, will still take some time ;) In like 2 months.
Just awesome guys, loving this guitar more and more, kudos to everybody.
Thanks Antonio, means a lot to us!
@@HarleyBentonOfficial No jokes, I have already an album prepared to be recorded, but I'm waiting to do it with this guitar 8-stringed.
Can't wait for the 24-fret ones and have one fo rmyself! That carved top is so nice.

We would suggest to leave some slack!

Hey benedikt, Chance to get a review from the Bass block 800 and why are you using a ice poweramp;))
Sure we will do that, but you might have to wait for a little bit :)
Always stretch em in before tuning then again then retune and 🤘🏽 Rock on!
whats the gauge limits on these? I usually play 11-56. Would I be able to use them?

lol
Does anyone know if the bridge could be replaced by a Headless Hipshot? I have one spare from another build and wondering if anyone has tried it.
24 frets , roasted maple neck and Trem pleeeease !!
Again don't worry :) We're on it :)
Delivered on 2 out of 3 :o tempted to get one

No we are sorry, but the screw is in fact for the locking of the string.
