That's why I like this channel so much! He does a proper assessment of every person, if they look like they can take it he gives it to them. He's being very respectful! He's just trying to offer a fun moment to people, it's really wholesome, I could watch this for hours. I just found the channel. Old people have their hearts and health to worry about, kids have their minds to worry about (don't want to scar them with fear or something), and teenagers / youthful adults are prime targets haha.

Worse he actually brags about it

This is great ! Could you do some Batto Do, with a bokken ? Maybe with a special paint job to make it look real. I'm sure there must be some slow to medium speed moves you could make in a crowd ?
I like it. You could upgrade your performance though. Do a quick hip wiggle side to side. Crouch and take tiny quick steps forward while trying to draw your sword. Take a deep bow to people staring. Do a funny girly pose. Say hello in a deep voice to people walking by without moving at all. Sneeze loudly. Do a robotic march forward instead of an awkward walk back and forth, Y'know?
I used to do this as Darth Vader. Same reaction but funnily enough if I held my arms out for a hug the kids always run to me. Seeing them smile is the best :-) Always stand protecting them when their parents want a picture. See Vaders not all bad... ;-)
