Great videos. I have a 115AC AO Smith carbonation motor to connect to a pump. Just to confirm I can connect hot and neutral to either terminal? Polarity does not matter ? There are only 2 terminals plus ground.
@@Alan.89 thanks for the reply. There is no wiring diagram on the label, it is 115VAC only. There’s are only 2 leads +Gnd. I wired it and it runs. Was just wondering what would happen if I reversed the leads? Run reverse direction? Or not run? Or blow up?
I have a new dayton motor that has 2 full sers of wires. Is this the high volt an the other set is the low volts Or do they all need applied as to diagram

if there is a wiring diagram on the motor i would go off of that. Is this a 2 speed motor your referring to or is it a 115/220 volt motor?

@@Jerryp1 It might still run. if not it will most likely buzz or trip the breaker.
So if u r reading a diagram on a 115v ac motor n u c Ungrounded line n line on diagram. The Ungrounded line is ur neutral n line is your hot (L1) ?
