Gosh...running away reflect badly on u even if people want to believe u. N his excuse of unaware of what happened..n he always say i assume. How could u assume things. Hes very intellect n has lots of experience, he met lots of people, im sure hes must know to certain degrees if stg fishy is going on.. Right?

"I assumed everything would be fine"
Working in an entry-level job, you learn that you can't "assume everything would be fine", which is rather basic.
Additionally, where was the due diligence?
Loved how entertaining it was when Mary Ann Jolley trolled Najib,
Mary: "Let's talk about your legacy"
Najib: "OK, let's talk about my legacy"
Mary: "What do you consider to be your legacy as Prime Minister of Malaysia?"
Najib: I have steered the progress of this country. I'm very proud of my achievement, my government's achievement. First of all, in terms of the stewardship of the economy. For 6 years, we exceeded the growth of the 4 so-called Asian Tigers, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore. I'm proud of the achievements that I've achieved.
Mary: How do you feel about the fact that the 1MDB scandal has stained that legacy to a certain extent?"

Kaza Kamarudin why can’t he just answer the questions if he has clear conscience? obviously something is very fishy here, you don’t see country leaders respond to an interview like that. And mind you before you even talk about Mat Salleh, pls kindly do your homework. Al-jazeera is a media broadcaster from Qatar..so it is safe to say there’s nothing to do with religion here. Pretty sure you can’t handle the truth or you are just plain ignorant lol

It is so embarrassing, we had an ex PM just didn't know everything, so he slept with eyes opened, at least Pak Lah was sleeping with closed eyes.
Look at his wandering eyes , his body language said much of everything.
Very sad for our country and very sad for those still supporting him, we had wasted a lot of time in his hands. He looked guilty as much as his eyes revealed.

Most of people who support him are Malays kampung folk whom fear DAP will be growing in power and later try to alter constitution provision such as Malays special position, Islam as Official Religion and Malay Rulers. However, I dont think they should fear anything, Malays are growing and increasing communities by percentage each decade, therefore it wont be possible for DAP to act as this people claim

Such a stark contrast between him and Tun Dr. Mahathir in terms of charisma and speech. Tun is not only witty in his language, he's also much more convincing and he knows how to answer interview questions without being hostile to any parties. When he doesn't want to answer a question, he knows how to make it answered without a real answer. And he doesn't walk away in the middle of an interview like a child not getting his candies. Even if he did, I'm pretty sure he won't be indecisive about whether to walk away or not.

this is a torture to look at honestly. He's most likely came in thinking that the interview was most likely scripted with pre-reviewed sets of questions. Mary Ann did above and beyond with her investigations to lay out the facts. We need this kind of investigative journalisms to keep the authorities in check at all times. Bravo

Leaders' need to listen to criticism, and be able to keep their cool answering provocative questions. Dr Mahathir recent BBC was one of a cool cat reaction. The BBC interviewer keep pushing him, sighing aloud, interjerking his answers but Dr Mahathir appears poker face throughout. I actually thought Dr Mahathir came out eloquently in the BBC interview. In this interview, Najib clearly appears agitated by the questions. He could not keep his cool. Sad.
