- Here is my fourteenth version of Softbody Tetris ;)
I love this video (despite the mistakes)
It makes me happy to create such stuff. It makes a lot of fun.
ASMR for my eyes ;)
I love the original Tetris game.
And I love Jelly 😋
I heard this great music and wanted to do a Tetris video with it. I then searched for Japanese houses and found a beautiful one. I then reconstructed that with Cinema 4D (similar).
Unfortunately there are some mistakes in the video.
The first mistake is the roof. You see that it looks different in the end. In my opinion, a bug. The error was only at the master computer and only during team rendering. Viewport and image manager rendering was bug free. The slave computer had always created the correct image.
That's why the second mistake. The transition from one computer to another. '00: 36 '.
One more mistake is that the dynamic simulation stops a few seconds too early. That's why the last Tetris part stops too early
Another big mistake is the upper part in the house.
Why are not the rows deleted? This is very time consuming. I only did that in version 9 of Softbody Tetris:

It’s actually pronounced “Yosh/よし” with the “i” in “shi/し” silent. (The “u/ぅ” helps extend the “o” in “Yo/よ”)
It means “Yes”

I try my best, but I have a fulltime job (nothing with animations) and such animations are very time consuming (see description).

Even after 6 years, 38 versions, this one is still the best one.
I also think this video is really great and it was a bit time-consuming. At the beginning the video was very poor and it was a shame that very few viewers were interested in it.
Unfortunately, there were also a few problems with the texture in this video. But I also find the music absolutely fitting and love it.

Gotta say. The colors in this episode look especially good for the pieces. I'm not sure if you changed any shading properties or if it's just the background complimenting them so well, but either way, beautiful!

This would be an interesting game both visual and how its played, I like the idea of a slower paced tetris where you have to calculate where the pieces are likely to bounce, also great vid
