When I said “canonically” I more meant the Tv show cannon as a few news articles said they might take their relationship in a more romantic ex-lovers direction. [I know they won’t and they are just trying to bait an LGBTQ audience. However, I just think shipping and playing along with stuff like that is one of the fun parts of fandom].
