    “Its free” and “you get what you pay for” both sound just great on their own but together not so much.

    "a few hundred dollars" like that's cheap

      It is when a good violin is a couple grand and can go to more than a new car. A few hundred for a case is cheap just like wheel locks are cheap. Good musical instruments are expensive. Cases are cheap in comparison. My friend is a concert violinist her violin is like $25K a case is basically nothing.

      Hey. Cello and bass cases can be up to $1200.

      Not even joking. Most cellists will have a hard case which usually costs about $600-$900

    I always get free bows but they suck. You have to buy better bows. Facts

    I was following this video until you told me that the case comes with a violin bag and a blanket... you mean like the violin has a sleeping bag and a blanket? I play keys, I had to buy a gig case for it... no blankie came with it. I feel ripped off! LOL

    I mean, let's face it, violin is not an affordable instrument to get into. But just because it's not affordable doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. Violin is something I've been dreaming of for years, but the budget just hasn't allowed. But I do still love it nonetheless.

      It's definitely not the cheapest instrument to learn.

    I alweys think it was funny that i can choose to or not to play with picks on my guitar and banjo
    But on the violin you need a bow

    What/how does a "beginner" bow keep a pro from doing?

    • @ElectricViolinShop
      @ElectricViolinShop  8 месяцев назад +1

      Think of a beginner bow as a school bus and a pro bow like a Ferrari.
      A professional race car driver will be able to do things with a school bus that would hurt your feelings. But she's going to be able to do a whole lot more in a Ferrari.
      A beginning driver is going to be a lot safer in a school bus and would likely put that Ferrari in a ditch in the first 100 yards.

    What do you mean by a bow that is forgiving?

    • @bensonfitch6697
      @bensonfitch6697 8 месяцев назад +1

      Mostly that it's gonna sound worse and be harder to learn with a less forgiving bow.
