A long and the most illustrious musical journey of late Shri. Dakshina- Moorthy Swamigal is being brought here , as Swamy himself unveils before us the various events and turnarounds in his life and it was nice to listen to him , which spoke of his close proximity with God Almighty , as his entire life was dedicated to music , which he believed as a God's gift , as he solely believed in the power of God. It was nice to watch him speaking , as each word coming out of his heart had the Godliness in it , a musical touch in it and lot of simplicity in it. He was the one musician who was loved by each and every one , he will live in our memories for ever.
At 13:17, Svaami makes an interesting connection between speech and music. Our tradition in India sees Goddess Sarasvati or Vaak as taking two forms -- VaRNAtamikaa VAk, which is syllabic speech and nAdAtmikA VAk, which is music -- but both are essentially the same thing: expression of meaning, emotion, BhAvam.
