I have the exact same model. Can you tell me, how high did you set up the strings? I set the trust rod and string height due to the Ibanez manual but I always have some buzzing. I also tried to set the strings a little bit higher but I still have buzzing.
I got mine a few weeks ago and I try to gig my basses before reviewing on my channel, so Ive gigged it twice. I have never gotten so many compliments and inquiries about my instrument from the audience as I did with this one: It is visually stunning! And it sounds spectacular - Im a "new strings" guy and the Nord Big Singles provided plenty of highs that I had to dial back from being too abrasive...My question to you is this: Both times I gigged this bass, the neck moved and I had to tighten 1/8th to 1/4 turn before each gig. I was wondering if you encountered the same issue (possibly soft neck wood, wonky truss rod, etc)?

Why pay 3or4 thousand, when Ibanez can be adjusted to sound the same. And play easyer. Amen 😅
