Absolutely fantastic! The soloist has an outstanding voice and the Chorus members are so handsome, but not forgetting their magnificent song choice as well.
I have to say that although the performance is magnificent, overall mashing these two songs together just makes no sense as they thematically contradict each other: the protagonist of "Go the distance" yearns and fights for societal acceptance and respect, welcoming and cheering crowds and in imagining this happy end they find strength to keep on going; "Let it go" has a diametrically opposite tone, the protagonist there achieves happiness and liberation through abandoning the social norms and expectations, "no right, no wrong, no rules for me - I'm free", they quite literally choose to be alone in the cold but to be their authentic self. In a way the two songs represent both the personal and the political struggle central to the modern queer experience: do you want to be accepted by others ("Go the distance") or do you want to be unapologetic in living authentically even if it means beeing alone ("Let it go").
This was beautiful. And damn, that “Let it Go” soloist has some serious pipes. Really giving Idina Menzel a run for her money.
SERIOUS pipes!

Does the choir have its own orchestra, or is BSO involved?
