    I think more track should take the example that Vegas did with food…..complimentary unlimited food from multiple food stands with purchase of your grandstand ticket. Yes tickets were pricier than some, but I could get up form my seat, walk behind the grandstand, select from multiple different types of cuisine and return back to my seat….no extra fee. Basic beverages were also included. Alcohol and energy drinks were at an extra cost, but everything else was all inclusive with my ticket price. This was true and available at every grandstand section

    I'm from Chicago and made the trip to Miami for the race (stayed in Ft. Lauderdale). I thought it was great, overall. I've been to COTA once and by comparison, Miami was incredibly well-run. It's really hot, I don't particularly care for any of the celebrities, I'm not a Trump guy, etc. But none of that it why I came to the race. So I didn't pay attention to any of that. I saw some great racing, was close to the action, and drank $12 beers all day. It was great and I'd happily go again. Everyone just wants something to complain about.

Ground tickets, without seats, are bringing in a lot of people who aren’t there for the racing, rather to see/be seen and take their selfies for social media and dating sites. You have people like Gordon Ramsay, Michael Douglass, Jeremy Clarkson, Keanu Reeves, etc. that legitimately like the sport and know their stuff. I think it's when we have people like Meghan Thee Stallion or DJ Khalid at the races. That's hella cringe and puts the sport in a bad light. I love a bit of spectacle, but push it too far with drivers needing introductions, and wearing football helmets for literally no reason, and it falls into the cringe pile. As far as celebrities go, they are there for the free press and the free food, and as mentioned, in some cases, the free check too, so can't blame them because ultimately the story gets picked up in the media and spread around and then people want to know what they're doing and what is F1, so everyone is benefiting there.

    In America - regarding Trump.
    Who hates Trump?
    Media, establishment politicians of both political parties, Washington DC bureaucracies, the US Intelligent agencies: FBI, CIA , most single woman. big defense/military contractors, Pentagon Generals, supporters of foriegn involvement/wars, global warming movement...
    pro illegal immigration/ioen border advocates.
    Who loves Trump?
    Working people, men, married woman, rank and file military members, non establishment politicians, small business owners, farmers, ranchers, natural gas and oil producer's, manufacturing businesses. those who want US to get out of foreign wars, closed border advocates.
    Re Biden
    Who likes Biden? Maybe 30% of American's. I think much of Biden's support is anti-Trump, not that they like Biden. Biden is largely viewed as a puppet being propped up and not mentally fit for office.
    The best way to judge what American's think about Trump is listen to the people, not the media reports.
    You must do your own thinking, and research and not rely on media reports.
    You have to remember who hates Trump and who loves him. All the big establishment power brokers in government and big business and big legacy media hate Trump.
    Regular working people love Trump.
    Our media in America has become like Pravda (USSR). They are not trusted by regular Americans. Many Americans are wise to all the lies and narrative shaping by the media. Everyday more Americans are figuring this out.

    • @danbike9
      @danbike9 3 дня назад

      Re: Trumps Foreign Policies vs Biden's
      Currently...
      The world is on fire. Wars all over. Lots of division. Lots of people dying in wars all over the world that the US has fingers prints on...
      During Trump's term in office. The world was pretty peaceful. Trump thinks the USA gets involved with other countries wars while neglecting USA problems at home, etc....
      This is a very popular position with Americans.
      Many believe if Trump wins Presidency many of US foreign involvement would be scaled back and get the US involvement in never ending wars.

    • @sultanoftippoo3857
      @sultanoftippoo3857 12 дней назад +2

      I think you have a point, there are people who do have a downer on US races like Miami and Las Vegas and I think it’s undeserved as those races cater for the US market (as they should) which is different in format (entertainment/razzmatazz etc) than say some of the circuits in Europe.
      That said, I think there is a little scepticism (me included TBH), that the US are into F1 for the long haul ie: without a competitive US driver or team, interest will wane like it has several times before (only say this as a Brit who has worked for US companies for the past 30 years and have lots of friends Stateside who have a passing interest in the sport but has nowhere near the draw to them of sports like NFL, Basketball etc).
      If you are from the US would be interesting to get your take on how the sport is being viewed and is there frustration that there is not enough US participation (drivers/teams etc).

      @@sultanoftippoo3857 US fan here who started watching in 2017.
      I'm not sure most people care about a US driver or team. The nationalism in F1 feels like a legacy tradition more than something meaningful. If everyone moves to Monaco why should I care which nation's taxes they're dodging? No one I know roots for HAAS or Logan.
      Waning interest is a real risk, but I think it will be due to F1 not delivering an interesting season in 2026 and beyond. Big changes like that usually make the field less competitive, batteries make racing worse, and we in the US don't have the tradition and nostalgia to carry us through multiple bad seasons in a row.
      We do love celebrity, and the drivers these days are getting very media savvy. But that only gets people in the door. Will that be enough to get us through electric cars parading in circles? I'm not sure

      @@tom.m thanks for the response Tom. Good to see there isn’t the pressure for a homegrown team/driver to win quickly as that was something I thought might cause some people to switch off.
      It’s a good point about the hybrid element as the backlash on the change of sound from 2013 onwards was significant. I think this is a global audience dislike (US not alone here), hoping the move to sustainable fuels will delete the need for any electric power at all.
